Applications running error

I just purchased a FFB USB modem, and when I try to run Comm. Manager, I get the error " One of the applications is running ( Communications manager, interface configuration utility, add interface wizard) Communication Manager cannot run unless you close the above application." When I check the task manager, no NI programs are running. How can I get your product to run?

Here you need to check whether you have run one of the three:
1. Communications Manager
2. Interface Configuration Utility (Start Menu -> All Programs -> National Instruments -> NI-FBUS -> Utilities -> ...)
3. Add interface Wizard

Application running error in RFC example

Excel VBA: Getting error 1004 using APPLICATION.RUN to run a macro

I'm getting a 1004 error when my ADDIN tries to launch a macro already in a workbook .
The macro resides in a workbook (on disk before it was opened in this session) and the addin opened the workbook, updated some data fields in spreasheets in the workbook and now is trying to cause the macro, already in that workbook, to execute as though
the user had opened the workbook, made the changes, and clicked the button connected to that macro. What the addin copied into the workbook was data in cells that the macro uses for inputs to its calcualtions.
The error reads: "The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled"
The command in question is in an ADDIN and its code is effectively:

Application.run v2
...etc
Immediately upon executing "Application.run " it jumps to the on error location.
Taxplan Template 1.17.xlsm is open and accessible (the addin has just copied data into it and the macro is to update a summary based on that updated data) and it contains the macro Summarizeyear which has no arguments and is not private.
If I set a breakpoint in the addin right before the "Application.run", stop the addin and manually run the macro it works fine. It begins like:

Sheets("Summary").Select
...etc
If I manually open the workbook Taxplan Template 1.17 I can run the macro SUMMARIZEYEAR without issue.
Macros are enabled in Excel.

This line is not quite correct,

it is missing the closing double quote, also since your file name contains a space, I would also enclose it in single quotes.

I Think that is a simple error, but I don’t have enough knowledge in .NET apps.
I make an console app that use Remote Authentication in SharePoint Online Using the Client Object Model, that a I downloaded from MSDN.
This App run ok.
But when I like to make a Windows From App. This component send me an error in Application.Run(DisplayLoginForm)
This err msg :
An unhandled exception of type 'System.InvalidOperationException' occurred in System.Windows.Forms.dll
Additional information: Starting a second message loop on a single thread is not a valid operation. Use Form.ShowDialog instead.
Is there any way to use a form inside a windows form?

Java "Application Failed to run" error in safari

I'm getting a " Application Failed to run" error on safari when trying to upload photos to facebook via the java uploader. I can't use the iphoto uploader for this particular page so that is not a solution.
I've uploaded photos plenty of times before but starting today, I get the following JAva Console message that I've deleted my user name from. Although I don't see anything here that indicates an erro, it is promted by an Error message that you click for details, which says the "The Application failed to run". Any thoughts on what I can do to correct this? I haven't changed anything since it's worked in the past and I've quit safari, restarted and ran disk utility.

Integration of a web application running on tomcat

I want to integrate a web application running Apache Tomcat/5.5.20.
it's login page(jsp page) have two input box uid and pwd.Login Application
calls a servlet in Apache Tomcat/5.5.20 web.xml.
For Accessing the loging page url is http://2.2.3.2:8080/uportal/Login
I tried with app integrator

Does the Tomcat is in the local System?
If it is in local system try to run the application using
<serverhost>://localhost:8080/......
else for remote server
Its always safe to add an entry (alias name) in drivers/hosts file with the ip address of the server like
2.2.3.2     myLocalServer
Now try to run and see.

Somehow my "IPhoto" icon now says "Preview". When I click on "Preview" nothing opens up except the bar says Preview. When I click on the Preview on the bar, a box opens up with different items, except when I click on any of them, there is nothing there. The only thing that work is the "quit preview". However, it is still there where my IPhoto icon should be. I can't get into my IPhoto. How do I get rid of this "Preview" and how did it end up taking over the IPhoto icon???
If you go to your Applications folder and double click on iPhoto what happen?

At some point a while ago I somehow mistakenly must have clicked on something in error and suddenly my Google Analytics programme (which is shown in by bookmarks at the top of the screen) was displayed in a section of the browser window to the left - the browser screen was split into two sections, with the google analytics program running in the left section and the right section was my regular browser window where everything ran as normal.
I have no idea how this happened, but love it and have come to really appreciate it. However I've just changed computers, operating systems and allsorts and now I've got everything back on track that window has sadly gone and I cannot find how to get it back. I've searched through every option I can find and cannot figure out how to do that again!
Can anyone help please? :-)

Thank you for your reply, sorry for the VERY late late response, but I have just figured out how to control this separate 'panel'. I find it really useful for monitoring Google Analytics in as it can just sit there running. It does have its limitations, as it's a limited size (you can't expand it to full screen view), so you can only ever see a vertical section of a website and need to scroll to look to the right or left, but I have the live view of people accessing my website running on there and if the numbers start racking up at any time, I can scroll to look and see what pages they are accessing, where they've been referred from, etc.
To get it to work, you save a website address in the Bookmarks Toolbar and when you can see it sitting on the toolbar at the top of the screen with its little icon, right click on it then click 'properties', then tick the box 'Load this bookmark in the sidebar'. The next time you click on this bookmark to open the website, it will load in this sidebar, which looks like a separate 'window' but is immovable. You can only have one sidebar application running at a time, but can change it by right clicking on the bookmark you want to load in there and it will then change to that one next time you click on that bookmark.
I hope this might be useful to others, as I asked for help with this on loads of forums and not one person knew that this existed - even really skilled techies!

How can I debug a web application running on Weblogic 10.3

I have inherited a NetUI Web Application developed using Weblogic Workshop and I can't manage to debug it. I have configure my server in Workshop and to debug it I right-click the project in Project Exporer and select Debug As -> Debug On Server, but this isn't working. The browser does open the application doesn't appear to be getting delpoyed.
Can anyone help me out? I am using Weblogic 10.3 and Java 1.6.

The application is an enterprise application packaged as an EAR. if I right click on the project and click Debug As -> Debug on Server, the application appears in the Server Tab, but it does not start automatically. If I then manually start the server the application runs, but it does not stop at break points and I can not debug it.
If I right-click on the web project that is packaged as part of the ear and select Debug As -> Debug On Server again the application is deployed, but I can't debug it. I don't get error messages, the application functions as normal but it does not stop at break points. When I attempt to debug the application via the Web Project, two browsers open automatically, both correctly displaying the application.

Application Runs Under Windows 8.1 But Not Under Windows XP (I Know XP Is Deprecated)

The problem is with the obtuse error message put out by Windows's program loader. It reads, in part, "..is not a valid Win32 application." The application runs everywhere except on Windows XP. Looking for root cause of the problem. It's a very
simple application. Only a few lines of code.
C:\Packaged-Software\32-BIT\Reboot.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Proposed nature of the problem:
1. The file was downloaded from a website but the download was incomplete.
2. The full file system filename path contains bad characters such blank space.
3. Visual Studio constructed an application that won't run anywhere much less on XP.
4. The supporting libraries are not properly installed (e.g. .NET Framework4, and VCREDIST).
Retorts:
1. The file wasn't downloaded from a website and is intact.
2. The filename path doesn't contain any spaces.
3. The application runs under Windows 8.1. Also on Windows 7.
4. The supporting libraries are properly installed.
So, what's the problem? One surely will not discover the root cause from "not a valid application."
Body must be 4 to 60000 characters long. I had put the code here. It isn't 60000 character long. But it validated as if there are more than 60000 characters. Sorry for the incomplete submission due to website construction error.

Adobe AIR 3.7 - iOS run error

Hi,
I have set up a simple project to test the latest release of Adobe Air 3.7 which allow loading external swf with bytecode inside.
The project use the krpano_as3_interface, load the main krpano.swf, and after a simple xml file.
Building and running in iOs SImulator using my Flex IDe works fine, the panorama load.
Building and trying runnig on an iOs Device connected with USB doesn't works.
I get this error :

The error #3747: "Multiple application domains are not supported on this operating system." occurs when the Applicationdomain is not set to currentDomain. Can you please debug if the ApplicationDomain is getting set to currentDomain rather than the default one?
