Applications sound is damged on my ipad!! Any help?

There is no sound or voice when i open any of my applications on my ipad or even the typing sound, when i start typing on the keyboard it used to make a sound but not anymore now! Although all my sounds volume are on the max! What can i do? Format my ipad or is there any other solution!

Have you got notification mute on (which will mute most apps) ? Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Uee Side Switch To, notifications can be muted either by the switch on the right-hand side, or via the taskbar (double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, slide the bar to the right, and it's the icon far left). Error 3014 may indicate that you need to free up more disk space on the computer before trying to restore again. Error 3194 most likely indicates you do not have the latest version of iTunes installed Update to the latest version of iTunes.

Or you can follow these instructions.
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.

Sound output on iMac not working, any help is appreciated

1. my speakers were always plugged into my iMac and it was always working until just now
2. sound was coming out from the internal speakers (or inbuilt speakers on the iMac)
3. tested my external speakers on iPad2, iPhone4 and MacBook Pro, everything works.
4. tested another set of speakers on the iMac, fail.
did i miss out any troubleshooting steps?

Question about sound from two clips... any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm doing multiple angles of a shot. I'm importing both video's (miniDV) to iMovie. Now, is there a way to keep the audio from one of the clips going continuously while I switch back and forth from the main clip to the second angle? This way, even if the video is a bit out of sync, no one will notice sound messing up

I don't know about great ideas.. but here is how to get the istuff working.
I would do a full reset of the TC because it seems to have gone bonkers.. all networking stuff with wireless has a touch of voodoo in it.. gremlins.. you have to work around them.
I presume you have the TC in router mode.
Open a real airport utility.. ie a v5 not a v6.. heaven help you if you only have ML.
For SL it is fine.. for Lion download and install http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482
Just leave the v6 sitting there.. unused as it should be and stick with 5.6. Both can coexist.
Start the setup.. manual setup.. go to the wireless page.
Set a name for the TC wireless.. I recommend SMB type.. short, no spaces.. pure alphanumeric.
I also suggest different name for 5ghz so you can force which is used. (Bob Timmons, I noticed in one of his posts recommends the opposite. .. follow what works for you.. but whilst you have issues.. fix and lock as much as you can).
Fix and lock the 2.4ghz channel.. this is the most important. 5ghz is less of a problem because it has less range and less interference. There are only three non-overlapping channels.. 1,6 11 (13 most of Europe).
Try each in turn.. one will work. Sometimes any of them will be fine as long as it is locked. If it doesn't work just try the next one. Using in between channels simply places you so you get interference from two different sources not just one.

Are you only syncing music or are you syncing other information like contacts and calendars? If you are syncing contacts and calendars, you may want to try resetting sync history first. To reset your sync history, open iSync. Choose iSync > Preferences, and then click the Reset Sync History button.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). There are numerous reports of this issue happening on iPhones. It may be a glitch that will need a new update. Some find that a full shut-down and restart fixes that problem, but not always.
