Applications start then close
im having multiple issues with my Bbook. i dont no why but when i try to install a program it shows on the dock for like a half a second then it goes away. the last application i tried to install was "stuffit expander" i dled it from their website then i double clicked the .dmg file then the stuffit mounted on my desktop. i opened that, but when i double click the installer it doesnt open or do anything (like i said before it shows on the dock for like half a second then goes away). i tried to move the installer to my applications folder then tried to open it but doesnt seem to work. is there something im missing? this is a consist problem but not with all programs which is weird.

my applications have also started quitting unexpectedly (itunes 2 weeks ago, and safari too). i re-started my mac and they started to work again. but now, i just came back from hong kong (brought mac with me) and some of the applications simply won't launch (like sketchup by google, virtual PC, and just today even toast and adobe). i didn't use these programs when i was there. since i got back to manila, that's when i found out they didn't launch. all the mac programs work, though--it's just those programs that refuse to launch. they show at the dock for a sec then disappear. i already tried disk utility fixup, and uninstalling so i can re-install but i can't even uninstall (i.e. sketchup). what's happening to my mac?

If I disconnect H: mapped drive, then blackberry desktop manager starts fine... How to fox this problem? Blackberry Desktop Manager has problem with mapped drive.

The application maps is not working. When I try to run it opens for a few seconds with a blank screen and then closes.
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

When I try to open iTunes app on iPhone 5, it starts to open then closes straight away, I upgraded to iOS 7.0.2 and it has been like this since I upgraded!
I also had this problem. Go to settings> itunes & app store, tap on your apple ID and sign out. Then open itunes store. It should now open.
Then sign back in again and the problem should be resolved -
I am on a Windows 7 OS attempting to reduce pdf size with my Adobe Acrobat Standard XI & Pro. The application keeps timing out and at the Subsetting embedded fonts portion and the application gives "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working" and then closes. The document is 275 pages. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Since when are you facing this issue? Did you tried system restore to a date before this problem occured.
Does acrobat stop working when you open this specific pdf file or with any pdf file that you open?

I created an application and in that application if date is changed the application starts from splash screen on re-entering and if date is not changed and u re-enters the application then it open in page where u leaved.It works fine in our side (Timezone,kolkata ,india even for Timezone,slvaniya,USA) but our USA client is telling that on changing the date it not starts from start-up sequence.Can anyone plz suggest the reason for it.

my screen cuts out half way of opening it but comes back on when i start to close and then very slowly and little bit at a time it stays on why
Could be a bad inverter cable, that's a classic symptom.

I downloaded the ios 6 on my iphone. I'm having problems with applications. When I open any application, in seconds then closes and returns to the home screen. What could be happening?
Did you change any AppleID accounts or anything? I've seen this happen when changing accounts or certain restore situations.
If you are using iCloud you should be able to reset your phone to Factory Defaults and restore from iCloud, but it always makes me nervous. -
Final cut starts to open then closes
Greetings people. I have FCP 5.04 and it was working fine last night. When I went to use it today it acts like it will start up and then closes. Anyone have any sugestions? I tried a reinstall.. I am sure it is an easy thing and I am just not seeing it.. Sugestions please.
ThanksYou might have a corrupted preference file. Try downloading and running FCP Rescue. It will delete your FCP prefs. The next time you try to launch FCP after trashing the prefs, FCP will create new ones using the system defaults.

Be sure to download the correct version for your installation of FCP.
Once expanded, select the TRASH button.

I'm just trying to update from 3.5.8 to the latest version. Started on the website and it downloaded a desktop image only, no application. Then tried on Firefox to update under "Help". It's been spinning for an hour! Help. I just want the latest version
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

I'm new in the Creative Cloud and I got the team creative cloud.
I just download photoshop CC and try to launch it. But photoshop starts and load everything it needs to and then it closes.
Can anybody tell me if he had the same problem ?
I'm gonna download an other App and see or try to reinstall but I want to know if the problem has already happened to anybody else.

I tried to uninstall all, use Adobe CC Cleaner and reinstall but still not working.
Also tried to destroy preferences file (move it to an other directory) but it's not working at all.

I can't restart the iphone to reset or restore. I held the homebutton down and the homebutton + sleepbutton down at the same time. The apple doesn't even appear.
I've also tried connecting it to the charger. It's not charging and dosn't recongize it.
