Apply one Keyword to multiple pictures in Aperture does not work for me

According to the Aperture Users Guide it should be very simple to apply one (or several) keywords to one or several pictures. In my case I can apply one or several keywords to ONE picture at a time. However, when I select a bunch of pictures and try to apply a keyword either using the Keywords HUD or the Keywords Control bar, the keyword gets only applied to the picture I move the keyword on-to. I can not apply the same keyword to many selected pictures at the same time. What am I doing wrong?
I select the group of pictures in the Browser and can clearly see that they are selected as they are highlighted. Then I grab the keyword I want to apply from the Keyword HUD and drag and drop it onto one of the selected pictures either in the Browser or the filmstrip window. But regardless of how I do it, only one picture shows the keyword in its Info panel.

That's exactly it !!! In fact, I have my Aperture libraries on an external drive so I can switch between my MacBook Air and my iMac. This morning I opened the pictures on my iMac and noticed that I did not experience the problem with the keywords. Now I am back on my laptop and checked for the "Primary Only", and yes, it was "on" on the laptop ... I simply turned it off and the problem is no longer ... Thanks for your help. multiple recipient email addresses is not working properly when
to list has some external email address and sending xls and PDF file as an attachment.
Test Scenario:
(A) Create mail target activity
1)To email : use the multiple email id with some external domain (ex.
[email protected] ,[email protected], [email protected])
2)File attachment with .xls file and this file is sending to mail target as an inputstream(at runtime)
3)Use all other valid parameter in activity.
(B) Create a process flow File source to mail target
Execute the process flow.
Actual Result: Mail is received by every email account. Only external email account get correct file but other email account(as ([email protected])) attachment files

First, when sending your message, the filename should be a simple
filename, not containing any directory names.
It sounds like your mail server might be doing some special
processing of attachments, perhaps to prevent viruses.

HT3669 hp deskjet all in one 4488 printer software downloaded from apple does not work

The printer software for HP Deskjet all in one F4488 downloaded from Apple support for OS 10.8.2 does not work. The problem is that the software is not available at the HP support site only.

Your apparently older Model needs to use Apple's "Print & Scan" which is found in Applications>System Prefernces>Print & Scan. There you will follow the following instructions from the HP Support site to Scan, for instance:
Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.
Click the Apple menu ( ), and then click System Preferences .
Click Print & Scan ( ).
Click your printer in the left pane.
Click Scan , and then click Open Scanner .
Click Show Details . The details of the scan display, including options to change scan settings.Figure 4: Example of the Show Details scanning screen
Change any scan settings as necessary, and then click Scan .NOTE: Make sure to select either the Flatbed mode or the Document Feeder mode, depending on your printer and how you plan to scan.

E3200 - USB port does NOT work for more than one device

We needed a new router that had the dual band connectivity as our previous router stopped working properly when we started using a baby monitor operating on the same 2.4 GHz. The choice was between E3200 and E2500. We chose the E3200 mainly because it also offered a USB port. We were hoping to use that to connect our printer and two external drives (thus bypassing our old desktop that's been working as a server). However, it turns out that the USB port on E3200 does NOT support USB hubs! So, you can ONLY use ONE device - either a printer or one external storage drive. That wasn't really clear at all from the description. I feel like we wasted the extra $50 hoping to get functionality that just isn't there. Can't believe that in this day and age, Cisco thinks we all have only ONE USB device we might want to connect to the network! The router itself is fast enough, but the extra $50 for a USB port that doesn't do much and some speedboost phantom ability is just not worth it.

Just to save time to you all, after numerous attempts to install a USB hub to my E3200,
I wrote to Cisco Customer Service (live chat) and I specifically requested how to set up the usb hub or the virtual USB port and they said that they do not have a software to install a USB hub.

One SQL/PLSQL query out of several does not work

I have a report with search filters and most of the search fields are text fields. I have no problem searching by these fields until i add in a select list to search by. Once i apply the select list filter(:P21_COUNTY), it displays the correct information but then all the text fields stop displaying the correct info. Does it work differently if using a select list vs. other field types? Thanks, Deanna

Value help does not work for ONE person only !

Hi,
we have a strange problem. In the Web IC, we are using a standard value help for the country field for a Business Partner. This works fine for everyone (ie, it picks up the country and slots it into the field) except one person. For her, it never returns any value into the country field. We are guessing that it's not Web IC related but is something in her browser settings etc...but haven't been able to pin it down. Can anyone offer any advice on this ?

Hello Malcolm,
If this error occurs for one user only it's definitely related to the clients PC.
Did you already delete all temporary files and the cookies on that PC? Usually this does the trick!
If this does not solve the problem, try to let that particular user login on another PC where the problem does not occur. (If the error does occur on another PC too it's probably profile/authorization related)

Adjusting date and time does not work for pictures from one camera.

I have a set of pictures taken with a Casio EX-Z20 camera in my Aperture 2 library. Because the clock of this camera was off by a few hours I changed them all at once with the option "Adjust date and time...". This worked well and when I sorted the images from different cameras by date in Aperture they were in the order.
When exporting all the images as JPEG the images in the set from this camera was reset to it's original.
That was very strange, I decided to try and change the date of these images in the master files as well by checking the checkbox "Also change master files".
When I change the date from 15-10-2008 18:34:44 to 16-10-2008 10:34:44 (+16 hours) the date of the image changes to 16-10-08 01:36:43 GMT+02.00 (+9 hours, 1 minute, 59 seconds).
When I change the date from 16-10-08 01:36:43 to 16-10-2008 19:36:43 (+18 hours) it ends up as being 16-10-08 10:38:42 (+9 hours, 1 minute, 59 seconds)
When I change the date from 16-10-08 10:38:42 to 16-10-08 10:48:42 (+10 minutes) it ends up as 16-10-08 01:50:49 GMT+02:00 (-8 hours, 47 minutes, 7 seconds)
I have worked around this problem by adding some hours to the desired time and eventually got it about right, but this is still a very annoying problem. Has anyone else encountered it or know of a way to avoid it?

I certainly have had issues regarding wrong dates, time stamping and DNG's in Aperture. There have been posts here from others as well with the same kind of date problems.
I have reported the bug to Apple and hope for a solution to the issue in a near future.

The copy, copy image and save as does not work for pictures in release 10.0.2. saves blanks.

just put release 10.0.2 up at work and it was automatically put up at home and it won't copy pictures using copy or save as.

Purchased Activation Code for Aperture does not work

I just installed Snow Leopard and experienced the issue with the old version of Aperture. So downloaded the trial version then bought the Activation Key for £69 but the Activation key they email ed me say "Invalid Code".
I cut and paste and retried the install but to no avail. Emailed Apple Support and they sent me here to the forums because I quote

Changing playback quality to 1/4 does not work for this one clip...

So, I've recently ran into a really annoying problem when editing one of my videos, even though I click the 1/4 playback quality, this one clip still plays in full. My recording setup has not changed, I still and have always been using my iPod Touch and this is the first time I encountered this

It's likely that the resolution of the footage from the iPod Touch is much higher than the rest of your clips. In this case, the other clips will appear to be much more pixelated than the one from the iPod when you turn down the playback resolution.
Rest assured that the iPod footage is being affected by the resolution setting, even though it might not be as visually obvious as the other clips.

When i click on firefox logo, nothing happens, i've deleted it, and re-downloaded it, i've restored it to a point one week ago, before the problem, still does not work.

I have the same problem but it appears that an add-on I'm using is causing the problem. Try opening Firefox in safe mode (which disables add-ons) Then try it. If that solves the problem, you need to disable all your add ons and enable them one by one to figure out which one(s) is causing the problem.

Select * for multiple tables in cfquery does not work anymore as it used to with CF5

I am migrating from CF5. the following code used to work:

FROM tablea a, tableb b
where a.id =b.id
now I get an error when getting the value of ID (error:
queryname.ID undefined). I suspect the * is the problem and is not
permitted in that format with CF 7.

cfdump is, for the most part, a debugging tool which allows
you to look at varialbes and their values at various points of the
template. Rarely would you want to let real users see that sort of
output.
I'd be suspicious if adding cfdump, and nothing else solved
the problem. I also wouldn't rely on it as a permanent solution.
Using select * for a query against more than one table is still
"sloppy" code and cold fusion tends be less forgiving of sloppy
code with each upgrade.
In case you were wondering, it's "sloppy" because it brings
back more data than you need. You will never need the joining
fields twice.
