Apply @section for half page ?

Hi,
I have a Word rtf -template with for-each@section command. The pdf output has one group of data per page.
Now I should change the template so that the section is half a page and the @section should work just as before but only for half a page. So new group of data should start from the beginning of page or in the middle of page.
Could someone please help with this problem, I'm a newbie in Bi Publisher, so I would appreciate any advice.

Apply Security for all Pages

Hi ,
My application has around 110 pages, most of the pages are public since I made the pages public to save time during debugging.
I have an authentication scheme defined which I have made current.
Now is there a way for me to make all these pages use the current authentication scheme without having to go to each Page->Security->Page requires authentication ?
Just wanted to Know if I was missing some feature in APEX which lets me change together instead of doing it one page at a time.

I already have an authentication scheme defined and which is made current.
But then when I was debugging the application I manually went to the pages and changed the security option to "Page is Public".
Now I want to revert the 100 odd pages to use the current authentication scheme.
Going by your method, I can only select or change the authentication scheme but it does not affect the 100 odd pages that I made public to "Page Requires Authentication"
Now I am having to go to each page => Edit PAge => Security => Page Requires Authentication and I have 115 pages :(

How to apply template page to all pages except for logon page?

I created a template page with id 0 that contains some copyright and other basic information of my application. Is there a way to apply this to all pages within my application except for the logon page?

It's possible to make page items or regions conditional on the page not being a page number that you specify.
Head to your page 0, and look for the relevant item in your conditionals list. Select it and specify your login page number in there and all should be well!

An error occurred while applying your dashboard selections for this page???

Hi there,
I'm getting this error on the dashboard page.
"An error occurred while applying your dashboard selections for this page" Error Codes: GV3MWW29
It is removed when I click "Clear my selection" from page option.
Is there any other way to remove the error without clicking "Clear My selction" everytime.

My iphone froze on a page for half an hour or so, no reaction and it restarted back on again

I opened a page on safari to type a website, half way when i was typing it froze it would'nt let me click anything and it didn't let me turn off or go back to the home page, the iphone was frozen like this for half an hour or so and afterwards it restarted back on. Print Report on half page

hello,
I am using report builder 6i. I want print on half page but the printer LQ-300+ uses full page. i want to print two receipts from one pages.

Make sure your frames are set up to handle that kind of printing. Check to make sure that 2 repeating frames will fit into one page. There are properties on the repeating frames and regular frames that can affect this, like "Page Protect", "Page Break Before/After","Maximum Records per Page" or "Space Between Frames" (these are just some). You also might want to check the height and width of you section. You can increase the height until you see 2 show up, that tells you your repeating frame is too big for 2 records for your original height.

When your NetWeaver license expires, it can be restarted, but will only run for 1/2 hour, to allow installing a new license.
Step 1- Start NetWeaver CE from the control console
Step 2 - Log on to NetWeaver Administrator http:///[server]:50000/nwa and go to Configuration tab then Infrastructure sub-tab, then Licenses
Step 3 - Make note of your System Number and Active Hardware Key in the System Parameters section
Step 4 - Navigate to the Service Marketplace http://service.sap.com/licensekey
Step 5 - You are looking for SAP Business Suite - SAP Products with ABAP Stack, Without ABAP stack (WEB AS Java-J2EE Engine) SAP Enterprise Portal link
Step 6 - Fill in your Hardware Key and System # - Make sure you choose this License Type: J2EE Engine - Web Application Server Java (it is not the default selection)
Step 7 - A message at the bottom of the page will note a new key has been generated and you can Download the txt file needed (you also receive an email with the info as well)
Step 8 - (Restart NetWeaver CE - if its timed-out) On the Licenses page of nwa click Install from File > Browse to the txt doc you downloaded and ADD
You now have the new license install. Make note of the date to schedule the time for any future updates, so that service is not interrupted.
If you cannot access the license key on the Service Marketplace you will need to contact your SAP account representative.

Memo data type displayed half page continued on next page

I am currently using crystal report IX which the memo field only displayed half of the page and continued on the next page. I have set can grow = true, keep object together = false and close border on page break = true.Would like to know how should I solve this by having the memo to filled up the rest of the page before continue display on the next page? Yes, you can't rely on getting the last entered ID on the next page as it may not be from the same person. I use the Insert-retrieve extension from Tom Muck which does this at the time of insert and stores it in a session variable. But backing up a bit, are 4 different forms really necessary. Most expense form are able to use a single form to capture all pertinent date. I would design a single form, submit it while using the retrieve ID extension, and direct to a summary page. That page would grab the just inserted records, and perform any monetary calculations needed. Also provide a link to an update page, basically a duplicate of the input page but with a recordset and fields Pre-populated. Once it's been input, reviewed and updated if needed, then it can be emailed, printed or exported to what the accounting people need to process it. Future enhancements may include a status indicator that defaults in incomplete. When in this mode, the user can log back in at a later time to complete it. Upon final submission, the record updates to Complete which prevents the user from making further changes. You could also build an admin section for various management tasks, and to enter the status of the request, that would appear in the users profile so they can see if and when they will get paid, or notices that require more info, like receipts.

More than half page blank in each page of report.

I am designing CR for Clinical Laboratory.
I have multiple page footers in Crystal Report. Those are suppressed and Suppress Blank section is also checked.These page footers are conditionally (When TestId= X) un suppressed in my report. (For Example when Test Id=18 Suppress is false for Page Footer1 and similarly for other page footers.)
It is working fine. But report have blank space (more than half ) in bottom of page.
please help me.

When I suppressed it unconditionally. It works fine. But I need them suppress conditionally.

I just installed Oracle Apps R12.1.1 and enabled Arabic language also.
I am able to access the Application in Arabic but could see any help pages on Arabic.
i got confused betwwen the patches (Patch 6746000 - Includes base Release 12.0 and 12.1.1 Online help,
Patch 7303031 - Includes 12.1.1 Online help)
Please let me know the list of patches to be applied to get Help pages on Arabic language on newly installed R12.1.1

Is it possible to have different headers for each page for the Pages app?

I just purchased the Pages app for my ipad and it happens to be one of the best apps i've ever bought. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to have different headers for each page of the same document. Is this possible to do?

One of the limitations of Pages for iOS on your iPad is that Pages can't create sections per se. The best you can do is insert page breaks and then assign different columns to that page. The problem comes with the headers and footers - in iOS Pages, the headers and footers apply to the whole document, not the individual sections as you would find in Pages '09 on OSX.
The workaround is to create your document on OSX, insert the needed sections and headers, save, then transfer the Pages document to your iPad either as a working "blank" or as a new document. The headers and footers will reflect the sections you created in OS X, but you won't be able to add any new ones or new sections on your iPad.

How to change the header and footer in the Section Breaks Next Page using OpenXML?

I have a word document file in which I added a Section Break of Next Page, now I want to change the header and footer of that page.
Scenario of example, I have a doc file which has four pages with headers and footers and added fifth page in the section break next page, I want to change the header and footer of the fifth page only. This is achievable manually by deselecting the Link to Previous
button in the Word Application but I don't know how to change it using XML?

How to print multiple footers for each page in RTF template xml report.
i am able to print ( two sets ) ...
up to last page ( one template ) and for last page ( another template).
i want to change the footer information based on the group value printed in the report ( it might be 5 to 6) In every report run.. can you please check and let me know do we have any feasibility to achieve this.

You can remove all other logic, like last page only contents (start@last-page:body), etc and section breaks if any you have inserted manually.
Just have for-each@section logic.
It would be difficult for me to guess what you have done without looking at your RTF or describing here.
