A little doubt..I didn´t find the stroke properties to size, kind ans so on..just color border.
Is there this features in Edge?

You can't expect Mail to support all the objects of Pages which can include anything up to charts generated from spreadsheet tables.
Even if Mail was a superset of Pages, what would the recipients who don't have either Mail or Pages, make of it?

You haven't said what version of Pages you are referring to.
Hold down the option key when you go to the File menu and Save As… appears.
It was Apple stiff necked response to users complaint about its removal. They couldn't just put it back.
Once you do do this it is pretty much what it was before.

Easiest way to add a double stroke to text / or object in Illustrator 10

New to the forum and wondered if someone can help me find a solution in adding a double stroke to text or an object? I have illustrator 10 (Mac). Thanks Also, should I be in a different forum section or is this correct?

Go to window/appearance and add as many strokes and fills you want, and reorder as you need

How to add text and objects (arrows) over a PDF document?

I am only familiar with Adobe Reader. Looking for the least expensive Adobe product that would allow me to add text and arrows over an existing PDF document. Not looking to edit (change) document other than add a "layer" over the original. Basic stuff I'm sure. Thanks for your help.

If you say so But I read the Original Comments and it doesn't sound like adding comments. When you adding layers as he is describing That is adding content.

Apply stroke to text (JS, CS2 or higher)

Hi all,
I'm having some problems applying a 3 points red stroke to a text layer using JS on PS-CS2 (or higher).
I've tried adapting xbyto's script ( http://ps-scripts.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=2021#2021 ), but to no avail.
Any help is appreciated.

The script in that post is for doing fine grain control of text styles within a text layer. If all you want to do is apply a 3px red stroke to the entire text layer, use a layer style and script listener code. You'll end up with something like this:

Moving text and objects

I have learned much from reading these discussions. This is my first post and I have had no previous experience with layouts or layers in any other application.
One of my students created this text box. How does she increase the borders around the text in the frame so the text does not bump up against the border? I am not sure how she created it. (Sorry, I thought I could put a picture of the text box in here but it won't import).
How do you make a text box increase horizontally without increasing it vertically?
I have had trouble moving objects after they were placed in the background but have learned how to do this from reading these discussions. (Drag from outside the layout to the object.) Thanks. However, I still have trouble doing this for text boxes made over a shape. Sometimes (and I don't know why) a small insertion image appears. It looks like a paragraph insert sign - has a small wavy line on top with two straight perpendicular lines attached to it going down. What are these? When this is an issue I still can't move text that is placed over an object.
Selecting text to move seems to be different than selecting objects to move.

this I don't understand. If the text would be the content of the shape, you should set every option of the wrap inspector by activating "Object causes wrap" and the tab inspector should be useable, too. If the textbox and the shape behind it would be grouped (you can check this in the menu "Arrange" at the bottom) than you couldn't be able to set the border color or anything else then the size. But maybe I am sitting on my brain.
Of course there are eight handles! Who has mentioned there should be nine? Oh, errr..., my fault
Have a look at the metrics inspector. There is a checkbox titled "Constrain proportions". Uncheck it and you can resize the object like you want.
The best to get a reason of this "thingamajiggys" (how do you speak such a word without enough beer?) is to make a screenshot with layout guides and invisibles shown. Can you send me one or a few screenshots (of the first issue, too) to my e-mail address? You will find it by clicking on my user name in the left column of one of my posts. Or perhaps someone other has an idea.

Moving Text and Objects Around on One Page

I am Using Acrobat X
I have 36 pages from a pdf printed onto one (without borders) using Adobe PDF printer - Attached image, Sorry please advise if there is a way to attach the actual pdf, I couldnt find one.
These are notes for an exam and given we are only allowed to take in one A4 page, I need to squash these up. Ideaaly i want to be able to highlight certain bits and drag them to other areas.
Note
- The current size of the text is legible when printing
- Taking a screenshot using that tool will not suffice due to quality reduction as the text is so small. Everything is currently vector quality
- I don't have the word docs for these

I can't really think of a good way of doing this in Acrobat without a very round-about workflow.
I would suggest you download and install the trial of Adobe Illustrator. Place your PDF file into a new Illustrator document (Size A4). The PDF file will exceed the document size, but you should be able to see printable area and the PDF spilling over the artboard. Then use the tools in Illustrator to re-arrange the content within the confines of the printable area you need.

Muse bug, text and objects shifting after upload

Muse: when I add a text box with linked text to an existing page, the text box shifts and other elements on the page shift around randomly on the page after uploading. It looks fine when it opens in safari after uploading but not when opened in a fresh browser.

No.
Some stroke types are easy to make, such as dashes. Dots can be achieved using a round cap and a dash measure that begins with 0 (zero).
Multiple strokes are trickier. Use the Appearance panel to add a new stroke. You can offset different strokes to achieve stoke/transparent/stroke patterns or stack a white or coloured stroke over another stroke to achieve black/white/black strokes.
More elaborate stroke options are possible in Illustrator using pattern brushes.
As for corner effects, this is one place where Illustrator falls flat on its face. The only corner effect you can apply is a rounded corner, and the effect applies to the entire path, not corner-by-corner as in InDesign. Illustrator’s rounded corners also such for anything other than 90° corners.

Can not Group text and shape/object

I have previously made frequent use of grouping text and objects or images together. But in Keynote 4.0.2 this is not possible (for me at least). I am able to lock multiple images, but the group, mask and alpha buttons are not active when selecting a combination of the two (text and objects). Images or objects can be grouped together. Is this a bug or what ?

Open a NEW presentation (it should default to the Title and Subtitle slide of the theme)
Type some text into the Title
Insert a shape (square)
Select the shape and the Title
You should see that you cannot group anything with either the Title or Subtitle object of a slide. If you want to group text to an object, you have to create a new text object. Would this describe your inability to group (ie. limited to when you have Title/Subtitle selected?)

How can I align a text object by the visible text and NOT by its bounding box?

Illustrator CS4.
I am trying to align some text to the center of the artboard. The bounding box is bigger than the text, so when I try to align it to the artboard it doesn't actually center align the artwork as I need it to. The text is needing to be aligned with another text object, so I can't just center align the text and then align to the artboard (which would eliminate the bounding box problem, I think). To make matters worse, the text I want to align has a stroke.
The only way I know to currently align the text properly is to convert it to outlines. This is what I've done, but I need something better. I want to be able to have my illustrator file that has all editable text and then be able to make a separate identical file with all text converted to outlined paths. The only thing holding me back right now is that I can't get the exact alignment while everything is still as text.

The solution is to simple to believe and probably why you over looked it.
You make two text frames to exactly the height and width of the text. You position the text in the relative location and then group the text frames then center that group on the artboard.
Like such:
If you ever want to add text that should be no problem but you have to re center.

Reset Text Wrap and Object Placement defaults?

Using Pages 5.5.2 (w Yosemite).
Wondering if there's any way to set a default preference for the Text Wrap and Object Placement parameters in the Format > Arrange tab?
For example, more often than not I need to have Text Wrap set to "None", rather than "Automatic". I was at least hoping that once I'd set a particular object to "None", any new objects I created or which were dragged into that same document would inherit that same Text Wrap setting (in much the same way that any new drop shadow setting becomes the new default when applying the drop shadow effect to subsequent selections). But even THAT doesn't seem to be the case with the Text Wrap & Object Placement options -- much less being able to reset a new global preference.
Any suggestions (which still involve using Pages 5.5.2) appreciated.

just discovered a related topic: when importing images in Pages, how do I set the default object placement to "stay on page" and "no text wrap"?
But that thread ends up going in a slightly different direction, since having to create placeholder shapes, and then duplicating (+ individually repositioning) same, for almost every time I dragged an image into a Pages doc would actually be MORE work than the current annoyance of having to reset the Text Wrap setting for most new objects.
I just want a way to set a global preference for that adjustment -- or at least a preference to have all new objects start off with the same Text Wrap (and Object Placement) settings as the last ones used.
Possibility? Or Feature Request?

What is the difference between Object Outline Stroke, Object Expand..., and Object Compound Path/Make?

Could anyone explain the differences between these three commands? I created a circle with a stroke, applied all three commands, and ended up with the same thing, a compound path. Are there situations where this is not the case, or situations where one of these commands is more appropriate?

In the case of the straight stroke/nofill, object>outline stroke and object>expand seem to do the same thing.
In the Layers palette you can see the three different outcomes for Expand if you have both Fill and stroke ticked, only Fill ticked, and only Stroke ticked. Only the last one corresponds to Outline Stroke.
You should use Outline Stroke as the simplest one if that is what you need. Compound Path is for creating something with one or more holes from multiple paths, or for collecting paths to forrm the Clipping Path of a Clipping Mask. Expand is for the rest.

How to get subject text and Reference Object both Screens at the Header lev

Dear Experts ,
                I am getting only Notification Header Screen ( Subject Text, Notification system and User Status) at the Header of Notification and different Tabs under that screen.
                I want Subject Text and Reference Object screens at header Level so that any screen Tab selected at a time I can see the Subject and Reference Object of the Notification.
                Pls tell me is there any way so I can Include 2 screens( Subject and Reference Object at the Header Level.)

Only the tabs are configurable.
