    Hi nikp11,
    According to your description, you recently updated SQL Server 2008 R2 to SP3, Report Builder doesn’t work since then the error occurs: "Application validation did not succeed. Unable to continue".
    This is an known issue in SSRS 2008 R2 SP3 that Microsoft has published an article addressing this issue. It is not planning to release a fix for this issue. But we could implement one of the following workarounds:
    Install and run Report Builder 3.0 of SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM.
    Install and run Report Builder of SQL Server 2014.
    Uninstall Service Pack 3 then uninstall Service Pack 2 and then reinstall Service Pack 3.
    Reference:
    Report Builder of SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 3 does not launch
    Thank you for your understanding.
    Best Regards,

    I could not find the jdbc111.zip file in this location
    How can i proceed further to fix this
    Many thanks and best regards...

    plz post the adworkxx.log and try to following also
    1- backup your adovars.env file

    Thank you for your answer to rename the DLL file. That has worked now and I was able to continue the installation. I had the same problem with upgrade from 10.2.0.1.0 to 10.2.0.4.0.

  • Problem applying 10.1.2.3 Patch

    I have the following environment :
    Home1 => Oracle B2B 10.1.2.0.2
    Home2 => Oracle DB 10.2.0.4
    Home3 => Oracle SOA 10.1.3.3.0
    After applying the Software Update to B2B AS home, should the Software Update and Metadata Repository Update also be applied to the Oracle DB home which includes the B2B and SOA schemas? I assumed the metadata repository update for this patch only applied to Portal & Identity Management schemas. After a software only update to the B2B home, B2B fails to push messages to queues.

    Just apply 10.1.2.3 patch to your 10.1.2.0.2 midtier home.

    Hi Guys...
    I am busy applying 10.2.0.5 patch set on 10.2.0.2 on solaris environment.
    On the Specify Home Details screen--- when I select the name of the Oracle home that I want to update
    or when I select the path that I want to update from the list and then click Next I get the error or warning that says I have selected a non empty path or directory.
    Why do I have to get this error when I am actually patching this environment?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Has someone applied the one off patch for-ONS bug 5749953 SIGBUS ERROR

    Hello all,
    Env:: 10g on Soalris
    I need to apply the one-off patch for
    Bug:5749953 -- ONS SIGBUS ERROR AFTER INSTALL PATCHSET 10.2.0.3 FOR CRS
    Usually for any CPU we issue opatch apply from the patch directory.
    and its mentioned in the readme.html as well.
    But for this one off patch, there isn't anything mentioned in the readme.html.
    All it says is
    #  6. Patch the Files
    #    6.1 Patch the CRS home files
    #    After unlocking any protected files and saving configuration settings
    #    you are now ready to run opatch using the following command.
    #    As the Oracle Clusterware (CRS) software owner;
    #    % opatch apply -local -oh <CRS_HOME>
    #    Note: In configuration A, invoke this only on one node.
    #    6.2 Patch the RDBMS home files.
    #    Alert: The RDBMS portion can only be applied to an RDBMS home that
    #          has been upgraded to 10.2.0.3.0.
    #    For additional information please read Note.363254.1;
    #    Applying one-off Oracle Clusterware patches in a mixed version home
    #    environment
    #    As the RDBMS software owner;
    #    % opatch apply custom/server/5749953 -local -oh <RDBMS_HOME>
    #    Note: In configuration A, invoke this only on one node.Could someone let me know from where i should give 'opatch apply' if patch.zip files are unzipped in /export/home/oracle/5749953  ? TIA,
    JJ

    The patch can always be installed in 2 ways.
    1. Do a cd and then run opatch
    cd <patchlocation>
    opatch apply
    2. Else specify the patch location as an argument
    opatch apply <full path to the patch i.e the one you do cd above> ...
    Both the above styles yield same result.

    Does anybody encounter following error after applying 10.1.0.5/Linux patch to client?
    $ sqlplus
    sqlplus: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.10.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    Does anybody change permission by executing "chmod 754" to allow others to read?
    I'm looking for somebody tried to solve this problem.
    Thanks in advance.

    I have a similar problem:

    Everything is visible to all users the LD Library path is set even in the httpd.conf file.
    Clear PHP works from within the command line, now I want to get it working via Apache2.
    If anybody has a clue I would be most obliged.
    Also disabling SELinux did not do the trick.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 Patch Problem

    So I'm having a problem installing the R2 Client with the CU2 patch within an image task sequence.
    I'm trying to install with the Task Sequence Method in the "Setup Windows and ConfigMgr" step, by using the "Installation properties" section to specify the hotfixes.
    It always fails with "unable to create temp copy of patch" in the logs
    I've tried the following ways:
    - C:\_SMSTasksequence folder method
    - UNC share Path to the SCCM server method
    - Using a command to copy patch locally before setup configuration manager step
    The only way that it does install is with the ClientPatch folder, but according to Microsoft, is an unsupported method.
    Others things I've done is give Domain Computers and Everyone, full access to the Client share folder, and full NTFS rights as well.
    Don't know what else to try.

    what is the command line syntax you using to install R2 client with CU patch ? are you copying the CU2 Patch locally before installing R2 Client  ? How are you doing it in TS ?
    here is what i would try :
    1) Copy the CU2 patch from package to windows\temp folder with cmd: xcopy ".\*.*" "C:\Windows\Temp\CU2_Hotfix\" /D /E /C /I /Q /H /R /Y /S
    2)setup configuration manager step with cmd: SMSMP=XXXXXXXX SMSCACHESIZE=10240 CCMLOGMAXSIZE=5000000 PATCH="C:\Windows\Temp\CU_Hotfix\configmgr2012ac-r2-kb2938441-i386.msp"

  • Applying u4440000.drv to 11.5.9 db gives error

    While applying u4440000.drv to my 11.5.9 db to upgrade, I am getting a message before it even starts to do anything. The message is:
    You must apply a Release 12 New Products Patch
    before applying a Release 12 Maintenance Pack.
    I've done upgrades before and have always had to apply a new products patch before I upgraded, but the upgrade guide (B31566-01) doesn't say anything about a new patch.
    Are the new products included in one of the previous steps and maybe it failed? Very confusing...

    We are also facing the same issue. But we are upgrading a 11.5.10CU2 environment with 11g DB to R12.
    1)We have already applied R12.AD.A minipack (4502962)
    2)When we try to apply (American English) unified driver (u4440000.drv)
    the autopatch fails with error

  • Unable to open BPM Workspace after applying 11,1.1.5 patch BPM PS4 FP

    After I login to BPM Workspace(http://<host>:<port>/bpm/workspace) , I get a blank page.
    The logs show the following error -
    javax.faces.FacesException: javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: The class 'oracle.bpel.worklistapp.tasklist.beans.view.TaskView' does not have the property 'homePageLeftAccordion'.
    at com.sun.faces.application.ApplicationImpl.createComponent(ApplicationImpl.java:261)
    at javax.faces.webapp.UIComponentELTag.createComponent(UIComponentELTag.java:222)
    We applied a patch to the 11.1.1.5 SOA installation to prevent an issue from occuring . After that we are getting this issue.
    Interesting thing is that the URL - http://<host>:<port>/integration/worklistapp/ works fine.
    Can someone please suggest what might be wrong ?

    We were able to get to the BPM workspace after implementing the Post Install steps as mentioned here - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/documentation/bpm-postinstall-ps4fp-487857.pdf
    But getting some DB related errors after loggin in , checking if MDS Schema migration has been done properly.
