Applying a patch to ACS5.3 - change patch file ext ?

hI  All
About to apply a patch for the first time on the ACS 5.3 tonight.
Ihave tftp'd it onto a directory i have created on the server.
However my support hints i may havre to rename the file ?
is this true ?
copy the latest patch file you got from Cisco – you may need to rename as gpg)
Current filename is 5-3-0-40-7.tar.tar
so would i need to rename this as 5-3-0-40-7.tar.gpz
if so i will rename it on my pc and redownload it on tftp
Kind Regards
Steve

Hi
Applied patch .
You were right tftp didnt work - it caused a corruption of the file
I managed to upgrade the main ACS but now i have an issue
where 2 of my wireless networks are auth-ing to my bcp ACS
Anyone seen this before - i donrt get it as the BCP ACS is supposed
to be on standby

I recently had some 8mm film transferred to DVD. I am trying to edit the film clips using Premier Elements 4.0. so I can reburn the films on a single BluRay disc. Some of the film clips copy into the project but others don't. I tried copying the VOB filed onto my hard drive and then changing the file extensions on the VOB files to MPEG but this was no help. Some of the VOB files contain numerous film clips but my software does not appear to be able to recognize them as such. I need to know if replacing my old Premier Elements with the new Version 13 would solve this problem or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    What do you have now.....
What computer operating system do you have?
We can go into the finer points of source and your intentions, but for now it would appear that you are using SD 4:3 source media to get to a HD 16:9 result. Lots to discuss in this regard.
What was given to you on the DVD disc? DVD-VIDEO 4:3 or something else?
If DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc, you should expect to find on the disc a folder named VIDEO_TS. That is your target for your video files.
If you were given a DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc, then all you want from it are the video files, specifically
VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, and so on through that series until possibly getting to
VTS_02_1.VOB, and so on. How many files you have beyond the VTS_01_1.VOB file will depend on the size of the DVD-VIDEO.
Does the above scenario apply to you?
The alternative might be someone giving a DVD disc (data disc) which contains just the VTS files mentioned which were copied from
the VIDEO_TS Folder. So, you do not get the whole VIDEO_TS Folder, just the essential video files. Does this scenario apply to you.
I see no need to replace your Premiere Elements 4 with a later version unless you have a huge project and need a later version that will be a 64 bit application running specifically on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer.
Consider...Premiere Elements 4 and if you have DVD-VIDEO on DVD....
    1. Place the DVD disc in the burner tray
    2. Open Premiere Elements 4 and set the project preset for NTSC DV Standard (assuming you are working in a NTSC setup)
    3. Go to
    Get Media
"DVD, Digital Camera, Mobile Phone, Hard Drive Camcorder, Card Reader"
"Adobe Premiere Elements - Media Downloader" and its Advanced dialog.
Set the Source in the latter dialog for the drive which has your DVD disc inserted in its tray
You should see your VTS_01_1.VOB thumbnail in the "Adobe Premiere Elements - Media Downloader" Advanced dialog.
With this VOB selected, click on Get Media to get the file from there into the project.
    Should work fine.
Complications may be involved if the people who processed your footage gave you something other what is described above.
Please review and consider, and then we can plan our project strategy accordingly.
    Thank you.

  • Apply a patch which is a diff file

    Hi All
I although I know how to keep a unix system up and running I actually don't know how to apply the patch for gzip :(
Its a diff file. Can someone give me the right syntax or point me to the documentation (I looked around at docs.sun.com but didn't find it)
    Thanks a lot
    LuCa

are you refering to this patch:
    http://www.gzip.org/gzip-1.2.4b.patch
If you have a compiler installed (such as gcc or cc)
You can apply this patch if you download the entire gzip source from
    ftp://wuarchive.wustl.edu/mirrors/gnu/gzip/gzip-1.2.4.tar
then apply the patch using gpatch -p0 < patch file
.. and compile your own' gzip using:
    ./configure
    make
    make install
    .7/M

  • Patch conflict when applying the 10.2.0.5 Patch set on Windows 7.

    Hi everybody.
I have problem when install PSR 10.2.0.5 on Windows 7.
First, Oracle Client 10.2.0.3 installed successfull. I want upgrade from Oracle Client 10.2.0.3 to Oracle Client 10.2.0.5.
I downloaded Database10g PatchSetRelease10.2.0.5 for Microsoft Windows(x32) from E-Delivery Japan Site, then used it installed successfull but new ODBC is not added.
Because of that I used metalink for download 10.2.0.5 Patch 9 and OPatch utility release 10.2.0.5.0.
I extracted OPatch utility release 10.2.0.5.0 zip file directly under the ORACLE_HOME (Old Opatch is been overrided).
Then Opatch aplly command executed for 10.2.0.5 Patch 9 but the error has occurred.

  • [svn] 3552: This patch contains multiple changes, mostly renames, outlined below:

    Revision: 3552
    Author: [email protected]
    Date: 2008-10-09 15:07:55 -0700 (Thu, 09 Oct 2008)
    Log Message:
This patch contains multiple changes, mostly renames, outlined below:
1.Rename properties in FxComponent: skinObject -> skin, skinZZ -> skinClass.
2.Rename property in Skin: data -> fxComponent (this also means Skin doesn?\226?\128?\153t implement IDataRenderer anymore)
3.Renames in DataGroup: Mostly around "skin" to "renderer" to get terminology correct
4.Random other cleanups: For instance changing typing of "*" to "Object" in ItemsComponent and DataGroup or removing some un-used imports in Group and GroupBase.
5.Lots of cleanup in flex4tests to deal with renaming of classes and renaming of properties
6.Gumbo-manifest.mxml - typo...some files listed as mx.componentss.* instead of mx.components.*. This file is going away as all components are moved into the 2009 namespace, but we'll fix this for now.
7.Defaults.css ?\226?\128?\147 FxDataComponent should be FxDataContainer.
8.SystemManger fix: this was in the previous SystemManager but got overwritten by a bad merge. Jim?\226?\128?\153s aware of the issue, and I?\226?\128?\153m checking in the fix for it.

    Hi, Nubz!
Yes, I just saw that, and am still chuckling.
Maybe that will mollify the Jive gods?
    Thanks again,

fixed .patch creation to create patch with the selected files only, remove, fix newlines in the patch file.
    Modified Paths:
    flex/sdk/trunk/tools/diffpack/diffpack
    flex/sdk/trunk/tools/diffpack/readme.txt

    All,
I thought it may be related to spaces in the path in which the script was called from. I tried having the ODBC command script in another directory but the same thing happens. It will give me the "CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259". As soon as the script is done running I can manually double click the script and it adds the DSN fine.
    Thanks,

  • I want to change patches on my Kurzweil PC1se with Mainstage.

I want to change patches on my Kurzweil PC1se with Mainstage.  I'm using an Maudio Uno to run from MIDI in and out on my PC1se to my Macbook pro running Mavericks and Mainstage 3.
Example:  Patch 1 is the Organ on my PC1se (Bank 1/Patch 0) and Patch 2 is the Piano on my PC1se (Bank 1/Patch 80)
When I select Patch 2 in Mainstage I want my PC1se to go to my piano sound.
I just can't figure out how to do this.  Any suggestions?

I own some Kurzweils, but not the PC1.  I downloaded and looked through the manual, and I think you may want to give MIDI Receive Mode a try.
Also--in Mainstage--are you using External Instrument channel strips for the Kurz?
    Hope this helps.

  • Sound is hanging when changing patch.

    Hello.
The problem is that if i am pressing the sustain pedal while im changing a patch, the last notes in the previous patch stays on. it doesent goes of untill i hit the space bar or panic button.
    Help.
Could it be that i need to configurw some All notes off when changing patch? Not an idel solution but that would be better than to end upp with a hang in a live situation.

Im not expessing my self corectly.
The way i want it to work is as you describe it. The note from the selected patch sustaind untill the pedal is released. Thats the way my master keyboard (Roland A80) works.
But the problem is that it newer STOPS sustaining ( after patch change, and pedal release).
Im using a New MBP, New Motu midinterface and a Clavia Stage88 keyboard.
If MS comes with the sustain feature (and thats what i want), i will check my pedal (polarity?) delet the old pedal and make a new. mayby something whent wrong whan i created the pedal.
Does that sound like a good plan?

  • SAP patch level to change the Gratuity Tax ceiling

    Dear friends,
What is the patch level to change the Gratuity Tax Ceiling.

    HI
There are not many changes reported in Gratuity from long back since year 2008. There is a new note on Superannuation and ESOPs(Note 1396661 - New Perquisite Rules in Budget 2009-Superannuation & ESOP's) but no new note on gratuity. The last note on gratuity i.e. Note 1115073 is valid from 16.01.2008 and from patch level 27.
The latest patch available is SAPKE60056 but you can have gratuity calculation in as low as SAPKE60027.

  • Yamaha FC-5 foot switch to change patches?

Trying to help a buddy (he's at a different theatre and I'm not in front of the equipment right now).  He has a Yamaha MOX8 and has the FC-5 foot switch plugged into the Assignable Foot Switch jack.  It works perfectly for changing patches when just using the keyboard.  He'd like to use it to change patches when connected to MS 3, but MS isn't even recognizing it (nothing lights up in the program).
Is there something that needs to be changed in the keyboard so that the switch data is sent to MS?  Any other ideas?
Thank you so much in advance!
    PJ

Do you see the keyboard MOX in the window in the screen control inspector in layout mode? Then pedal won't respond until it's assigned to a hardware input. See below.

  • Delete or change JSP files

    Hi Guys,
when I delete a JSP file in web, I've still access to the deleted file with InternetExplorer. When I change and save a JSP file the InternetExplorer shows the old version.
How can it be? How can I delete or Change the file correctly?
The other discusions brought me no solution.
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1772196 I don't have autorization for this solution.
    I'm using MII 14.0 SP4 Patch 2.
    Regards,
    Matthias

    Hi Mathias,
You can try using "Publish" option on right click of the parent folder of the JSP page or on the WEB folder of your project. The reason you are still able to access deleted file is that the file is still on the server and a publish would re-copy the contents under the folder on to the server.
Same is the reason for you not being able to see the changes that you do in JSP page. Try "Publish" after any changes to web resources.
    Hope this helps!

    Ria
