Appointments deleted in Outlook remain on BB...

Hi All,
We just implemented BlackBerry Professional Server with a handful of users and I've noticed the following behavior:  When a calendar appointment is created on the BB, it syncs with Outlook and appears there as well.  If the appointment is then deleted in Outlook it remains on the BlackBerry.  If the appointment is created and deleted on the BB it appears and disappears in Outlook just fine.  Can anyone assist in troubleshooting this one?

did you delete cmime service book in your handheld. Delete and restore cmime service book or sent new service book in your server.

  • Emails deleted on iPhone also are deleted on Outlook 2010

My boss has an older iPhone 3g that has been receiving pushed emails from an exchange server via forward to a Yahoo account and an iCloud account.  With the Yahoo/iCloud system he could deleted messages on the iPhone and they would remain in the Outlook 2003 inbox.  He is receiving a new PC with Windows 7 and Outlook Professional 2010.  The iPhone and iTunes are configured for Active Sync on the new system.  With Outlook 2010 and Active Sync emails that are deleted on the iPhone are now deleted on Outlook 2010.  The Exchange Server is 2010 running on Windows SBS 2011.  All software programs (iPhone, iTunes, and Microsoft software) are up to date with current releases.  Is there a way to delete emails on the iPhone and have them remain in the Outlook 2010 inbox?
    Thank you, Louis

Thank you diesel, I will have to find another way to tell my boss.  Using the Yahoo account and iCloud method he could clear his iPhone of emails and know they would still be on his office computer.  I guess he has a choice to make.
    Thanks again, Louis

  • Account messages me are not deleted in outlook. They branded. ??

Hello. I have icloud synchronized with outlook 2007 (contacts, accounts, and calendar). The problem is that when delete a message in outlook does not send it to the Recycle Bin, that message appears crossed out. Why does this happen? Can I make it work with normal outlook?

That is a setting in Outlook:
Hide Strikethrough Messages Marked for Deletion in Outlook
To hide messages already marked for deletion in Outlook:
In Outlook 2007 & 10 Select View | Current View | Hide Messages Marked for Deletion from the menu.
In Outlook 2003, Select View | Arrange By | Current View | Hide Messages Marked for Deletion.

  • Cannot Delete Calendar Outlook 2010

We have recently migrated to Outlook 2010 and we no longer have the option to delete a Calendar from the 'My Calendars' section.
When you right click on the calendar the 'Delete Calendar' option is greyed out.  Has anyone seen this issue, and know of a fix/workaround?
    Thanks in advance.
    John

    Hey John,
not sure if you solved this problem as yet but I found the solution.
Here is what worked for me:
I went to live.com and logged into my account.
In the top left had corner I clicked on the drop down arrow next to the Outlook logo, then Calendar
I then clicked on the Settings (Gear) icon beside my name in the top right-hand corner, then Options
Under Options is where I found the calendars i couldn't delete in Outlook (desktop)
I clicked on the calendar I wanted to get rid of and clicked Delete in the taskbar at the top (took awhile for me to notice where the delete button was at) then Delete again in the pop-up.
I went back into Outlook (desktop) and hit F9 (Send/Receive) and the calendar disappeared.
Hope this works for anyone that encounters this problem!

  • Outlook and BB - items deleted from outlook calendar not shown as deleted in blackberry?? WHY?

Once meetings are deleted in Outlook they are for some reason still shown as active in my blackberry.  Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it?
Do i need to resynch them?
    HELP!

From what I remember, for them to be removed from the blackberry, they have to be in the deleted items folder while the phone reconciles, but I might be mistaken.
If you try creating a test calendar item, let the BB pick it up, delete it from outlook leaving the item in the deleted items folder and wait for the phone to reconcile again (or force reconcile now).

  • When I reset Firefox it deleted my Outlook email account on my iMac

When I reset Firefox it deleted my Outlook email account on my iMac computer. It also moved my AccountEdge accounting file into the Old Firefox data file on my desktop along with all the backups. There are also Microsoft user data files and some Word documents in that file too. I hope you can help because I don't know how to put these files back where they belong.

[[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]] this would help for the files associated with Firefox.
However as for the Outlook email, you can restore them with these instructions [http://email.about.com/od/outlooktips/qt/Restore_Outlook_Mail_Contacts_and_Other_Data_from_a_Backup.htm]
I am not entirely familiar with the storage of outlook files in Firefox.

  • Delete from Q10 does not delete from Outlook

After the 10.2.1.537 update I just did this weekend, my emails are no longer deleting from Outlook (work Exchange account). I deleted a few emails over the weekend, and when loading up Outlook this morning at work the emails are still in my Inbox.
I have made sure that 'Delete on Mailbox & Handheld' is ON and I have never had an issue with this before the update.
Any help would be greately appreciated.

I have had the same problem since the update yesterday. I have both an Outlook and Yahoo mail accounts and neither will allow me to delete from the BB Hub. I receive a popup that asks if I would always like to perform this action. No matter if I select it or not the 'Delete' button does not become accessible.
Dear Blackberry folks, how can I delete my emails??
Go into your Settings and reduce the font size to something less than 12.  Then go back to the Hub and try deleting again.  You should be able to make the selections.  If you set one or the other to default then you can change your font size back.

  • I was trying to get my personal computer contacts and calendar in outlook on my iphone and ipad.  I was told to use icloud.  I went to control panel and then icloud and selected my contacts and calendar.  Now ALL MY DATA IS DELETED FROM OUTLOOK.  Help!!

I was trying to get my personal computer contacts and calendar in outlook on my iphone and ipad.  I was told to use icloud.  I went to control panel and then icloud and selected my contacts and calendar.  Now ALL MY DATA IS DELETED FROM OUTLOOK.  Help!!

I was just on the line with Apple Tech support.  First of all, I learned that when you link contacts to iCloud, it moves all your contacts to another/new address book...look for aother address books and you will see it.  But I found the new address book dies weird things and changes the "Display Names" format.  Evidently (per Apple support tech) there is no way to avoid this problem...so I just delinked the iCloud from my contacts.  The contacts stayed in the iCloud address book...so I exported them to a CSV (comma separated value) file and saved it on my desktop and then imported that list into my original contacts folder.  Now everything is back the way it was...being able to use my contact address book the way I did before.  I was surprised that they never considered or realized this problem...but then the tech guy admitted that they really don't have A LOT of experience using Windows PC's.

  • 8900 IMAP questions - Deleting from Outlook 2007

Just got a new BB 8900. I have set up my personal IMAP email account on both my BB and my MS Outlook 2007.  When I delete from Outlook, messages linger on the BBerry. I do have the email settings on my phone so that it is supposed to delete on the mailbox and handheld.
What am I missing here? Can it take awhile before deleting on the desktop and then having it be deleted on my handheld?  More than 15 minutes?

Sorry. I meant to put in "BES"
Here's a good article describing the differences between BES and BIS

If you have Yahoo mail, supposedly 2-way synchronization is supposed to work
    http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB13954
Even though it says it's supposed to work 2 ways, I've seen people on the boards that only says it goes one-way. Since I've had a BlackBerry it only does a one-way sync to me. Take a look at these links:

  • Prevent Hard Delete in Outlook When Deleting in Mailbox and Handheld

I want to delete messages after  reading on my bberry, and have them go into my deleted E-mail folder in my Outlook 2007,  (using Microsoft exchange) so that I don't have to deal with emails twice. When I currently do this, the emails are hard deleted in Outlook, and not saved in the deleted folder. Not using Blackberry enterprise.

    Hi rhymobot,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
Could you please try changing your Email Reconciliation settings from Mailbox and Handheld or from Prompt to Handheld and saving the changes? Then try changing the settings back to Mailbox and Handheld or to Prompt for each account and saving your changes again. Once you have done this, could you please test the Email Reconciliation functionality again and let me know if that resolved the issue for you?
I look forward to your response.

  • Deleting emails on BB that have been deleted on Outlook 2007

My BB receives emails through wireless reconciliation, but none of the emails I delete through Outlook 2007 are being deleted on my phone.  So, I have a huge number of unread emails on my phone and it's tough to scroll through what I need to get at.  I've tried the Reconcile Now option on the phone, but that does nothing.
    Any suggestions?
    Erik

Ok, so you need delete the mails on both sides ( the pc and the blackberry device ), you can't synchronize wireless without exchange server and BES data plan.
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.

  • Outlook Calendar Appointments Deleted on Synch

Is there any way to not have the Desktop Manager delete past appointments from Outlook when synching the calendar? I changed my selection to "synch all appointments", but it still wants to delete over 60 appointments?!? Any help would be appreciated!

    Good evening
What I have done to alleviate the problem is: When you sync, click on configuration>two way sync>Instad of "Transfer all scheduled items, I checked the box that reads:Transfer of items within a range of....
I typed in 60 days prior and 180 days after.  You can type in whatever number you need . So far, it has worked OK.
    Hope this helps
    Good Luck

  • Outlook appointments deleted

Hello everybody, By synchronising (PC Sync) my mobile (today a N95) with outlook some of old (> 1 ) or not old (>1 d) appointments are deleted. After the deleting I introduce them again but after 1 or 2 weeks they are deleted again. My PC is running win 2000 Last version of PC suite Outlook 2003 Have some on info or idea how to resolve the problem? Thanks in advance

Go to advanced setup in synch, & put which one will be dominant in resolving issue, or you may do the one way synching(Phone to Outloook or Outlook to phone) not both ways. Outlook do sometimes quirk things, it delete appointments when it is overdue, or mark done.

  • Synch deletes all prior calendar appointments from my Outlook

I am encountering new and undesirable behavior when synching iPhone to Outlook.
It has worked great in the past.
Now, it deletes all appointments from Outlook prior to the day of synching.
And, it only synchs FROM Outlook TO iPhone.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
    Thanks!

    Hi Gus2013,
Can you please provide a bit more detail on this issue?
What version of Microsoft Outlook are you using?
Is it a Click-to-run installation or is it using a connector add-on?
Are your calendar and contacts stored locally on the computer in a .pst file?
When your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is connected via usb, do you have the synchronization options displaying in BlackBerry Link?
When do you receive the message that the software does not support synchronization?
Is this when you are trying to configure the synchronization settings?
I look forward to your response.
