Appraisal authorisation

Hello there
I've got a few questions here regarding MBO:
1) Can someone kindly advise which are the authorisation objects are to control the following fields in PHAP_ADMIN.
I know P_HAP_DOC is used, but does this authoristion object restricts the following fields:
- Appraisal Template
- Appraisal Status
2) How does the authorisation of Appraisal works in ESS, if I want to restrict employees accessing only their own data.
3) If I want to give access for seeing the status of certain induction, how should I do?

I think this can be done also by turing the auth switch PERNR on, and controlling access to the employee's personnel number through P_PERNR?
SPRO ->Personnel Management ->Personnel Administration -> Tools -> Authorization Management ->
Maintain Authorization Main Switches -> Choose Maintain authorization main switches ->
Change PERNR to value 1 (or t-code OOAC)

  • Unable to view the appraisal document in PMS

    Hi,
    We have upgraded our system from 7.01 to 7.4 and ECC from EHP4 to EHP7.
    After upgrade we are not able to open the appraisal document from
    Appraisal Inbox (Performance management) page/Employee & Reviewer Inbox
    page but getting blank screen.
    We had refer the note 1600380, according to the note we had checked the objects in all pages mentioned.
    But then also unable to view the appraisal document.
    Refer the attachment.
    Kindly guide us to resolve the issue.

    Hi ,
    Before upgrade it was working fine, There is no change in the authorisation in the backend.
    Kindly specify what kind of authorisation are required, so that we can check at our level.
    No error messages and logs are generated related to this.

  • Appraisal Template no display in quality

    Hi, experts. I have created appraisal template in developement and then got transported to developement testing clint by SCC1 and find for testing allright.
    When i have transported the request to quality and production, Template is not visible in either clint.
    Although one template which i transported earlier is available in Quality server. I have tried to pull the request twice, i can see this request practically available in these clints.
    Pl suggest what may be reason i am not able to see my item. I have the authorisation "SAP ALL" and similar user parameters.

    Use RHMOVE* to create transport and move appraisal objects to other system in the landscape.

  • OSA - How does the system determine a part appraiser

    I have copied a standard SAP template to create a performance feedback template. I have one employee in an org structure that is the chief of an org unit. I then have a subordinate org unit that reports to the higher org unit. I have an employee in this org unit. I have created two user ids and assigned each employee to one of the user ids. When I create the appraisal using phap_create_pa, I can create the objectives for the form with the chief. When I start the appraisal process, it kicks me out. When I go back in with phap_change_pa and am logged on as the employee (part appraiser), I cannot do anything since every column is greyed out, even though the status of the appraisal doc is in "in process, part appraisal". What am I missing? I guess I don't know why this part apparaiser is not working. Any help will be appreciated

    Here are a few things I can think of:
    1. In the template under the status flow tab ensure that 'person authorised' has the entry part appraiser
    2. Check if the workflow event entered for the previous step is not a display event, but an approval event.

  • OSA - Authorisation Checks

    Hi all:
    In my client's appraisal form, only the employee can fill in the form. They will also have to specify their manager's name as the appraiser.
    I tried to use "Default Manager" BADI for my appraisal form. However, this is not a complete functionality because the appraisee can simply change the appraiser's name, after system defaults. There is no control on the appraiser chosen. I can even choose my subordinate as my appraiser, which is not correct.
    I know that in "Processing" tab, we can de-select "No Authorisation Check for Appraiser". This feature will check if the user (in my case, the appraisee) has authorisation for the appraiser etc. A few questions I would like to find out:
    1) Will this functionality meet my requirement?
    2) To use this functionality, do I need structural authorisation or just non-structural authorisation?
    3) Should i use BADI "Authority Check" instead, to cater to my requirement?

    What is an authorisation checks?
    To ensure that a user has the appropriate authorizations when he or she performs an action, users are subject to authorization checks.
    The following actions are subject to authorization checks that are performed before the start of a program or table maintenance and which the SAP applications cannot avoid:
    ·        Starting SAP transactions (authorization object S_TCODE)
    ·        Starting reports (authorization object S_PROGRAM)
    ·        Calling RFC function modules (authorization object S_RFC)
    ·        Table maintenance with generic tools (S_TABU_DIS)
    How do we provide a basic authorisation check read for a employee? Could anyone help me with the path?
    Go to transaction PFCG and provide the role based authorization.

    For our ECM , We use 2 dimensional guideline(MBOA nd CRAT)
    We are facing an issue of  *Salary Adjustment: No valid appraisal document found *   when we try to do compensation planning for employees..
    Though the appraisal status is in completed status with ratings.
    is it an authorisation problem?
    Are we missing a link....
    any inputs?

    Please check the dates on which the system picks the appraisal rating.
    For us , the validity dates were a mismatch. Pease ask your abaper to keep a break point in the badi HRECM00_MATRIX_SEGM-HRECM00_MATR_MBOAPPR
    Check in view table V_T71ADM10, the eligibility key date.(ideally somewhere in june of the year if you are going to check for ratings for in the year)
    And service seniority can be 6 months as per SENI in V_T71ADM13,
    And also check your configuration in V_T71ADM14.
    Have u maintained the correct template and the element IDs in the levels.

  • Appraisal population automatically defined

    Hi experts!
    In the project I work, appraisal population must be automatically defined. For each employee the first appraiser is the line supervisor and the second appraiser is the first appraiseru2019s line supervisor (first appraiseru2019s upper hierarchical level). In case there is also a functional (u201Cdotted lineu201D) supervisor, he sends written feedback to the appraisers. How can I define this appraisal population automatically?
    I tried to use the program RHXHAP_APP_DOC_PREPARE but this program works only with chief position as appraiser.

    There are multiple ways to do this?
    Firstly ru familiar creating a template and having the template flow in the org unit the way you want ?
    - well here's what you need to do
    Once you Have created a template:
    In the processing Tab of the template- Apprisal document creation check = Unlimited Appraisal Documents
    This will let you use unlimited appraisal document of the same template.
    At the status flow Tab:
    There are status and substatus of the template which decides the flow of the template within the org unit .
    You need to select the each status and select the push button, Person Authorised, Target status, Next status  and Workflow event .
    On selecting the workflow event the system will have the template flow in the direction you like.
    as a standard functionality there are 2 level workflow already available.
    Any workflow event you choose for the appraiser will be directed to the appriaser you choose once the template is released and ready to use. The appraiser is always the first level manager of the employee.
    The Higher level manager is the appraiser's manager as per mentioned in the org structure.
    This can give you some idea on how to get started.
    To configure the colums, push buttons and sub-status you need to right click on Category Group / Category/Template which ison top of the Personnal Appraisals - Select Basic Settings to have your requirements set.
    You also need link the events for each of the workflow events- you can find this is SPRO.

    Ok.
    Did you check if the Userids have the P_HAP_DOC authorization?
    For the newly created Z role, Edit the role in PFCG and goto the "authorizations" tab click on the "Edit" button. This should take you to a new screen where you have to add the authorization object "P_HAP_DOC"  manually by clicking on the "Manually" button.
    Once this is done, regenrate the role again.
    Reach your Basis team help for the above.
    Also in OOSB check if the dates are properly maintained and also whether the "Exclusion" flag is unchecked for those userids.

    There are so many age wise analysis reports are there for analysing the customers or vendors open items. out of those, F.41 for vendor open items there you can find all the relevant data including business area level also satisfied because in some cases higher management wants the particular business area wise required for analysis. similarly f.21 for customers.

  • Business Event Appraisal in Training and event management

    Hi
    I am facing issue releated to Business Event Appraisal Functionality in ESS. I have maintained value as blank in field HAP00 REPLA switch.
    We have created I View of transacion PV7I in ESS. When i am selecting "APPRAISAL" button for attended event , i can select appraisal form from appraisal form list. On next screen i don't get Appraisal Form where i have to give feedback on different criteria's. I get Rating column and four buttons: Save, Check data, back, Complete.
    When i am executing PV7i through R3 then it's working properly. Why it is not working properly in ESS. Kindly help me ?
    Other issue..... :
    My client needs INSTRCUCTOR feedback functionality means feedback for instructors by participants for particular event. How we can configure in the system for TEM module not for LSO.

    Unfortunately the appraisal services (my_appraisals, my_app_create, my_appraisalsm) have not been migrated for the use with integrated ITS.
    Please review SAP notes 870126 and 771196
    Note:
    Since the appraisal services (My_appraisals, My_app_create) have not
    been migrated, you can no longer use the appraisal function from the
    services PV7I and PV8I with the integrated ITS.
    At the same time I am afraid the succession product is not an option
    for you as the TEM functionality is not integrated with the new
    appraisal functionality of 'Performance Management'. Performance
    Management only offers an integration with the succession product of
    TEM, i.e. LSO (Learning Solution).

  • Appraisal in Training and event management

    Hallo Experts,
    In the ESS portal during appraisal of a certain BE, the Appraisal form does not appear. The Name of the Appraisal model appear on the portal but NOT the form itself where the user input data. (the criteria groups and criterions.)
    I am using the ITS service PV8I .
    The BET for the BE has correct event appraisal model as shown in its Relationship infotype.
    Is this a problem with the SAP or the portal itself?

    I'm a bit new to this discussion group thing although I've been using Macintosh computers for many years (showing my age).
    I handed my MacBook Pro to be repaired at an authorised apple service centre. When I handed it in they said they needed to keep hold of it to run some diagnostics and requested my password. I've owned various models of mac for the the past 17 years and this is the first hardware problem I have encountered, hence I have never bothered to set up user accounts. 
    As I live in quite a remote part of Sweden I am paranoid that some untrusted technician is going to make a copy of my music (11,000 tracks) or share some of my personal information (scanned copies of my birth certificate, passport, certificates, photos, etc.) on the web. Is there a way of finding out what activity has taken place whilst they've had it in their possession?
    I appreciate any advice you guys can offer.

    If you put your info into the computer and hand it to another, you have to assume they will copy everything.
    Why are you putting scanned copies of valuable identity information into a computer than can be hacked, stolen, lost or compromised by a dirty tech?
    Have you lost your mind?
    Is there a way of finding out what activity has taken place whilst they've had it in their possession?
    No. The tech would just deny it if he did, or tell the truth which the answer would be "NO" in either case.
    The employer won't ask that sort of questions without solid proof, less they make a enemy of the employee and/or risk being sued for defamation of character.
    It's not like they bother to have a team of people watching over his shoulder that he doesn't stick a USB thumb drive of your data into his pocket to take home.

    If it's iTunes music, it has your personal ID embedded into the song files. Most IT techs know this though.
    I appreciate any advice you guys can offer.
    Too late now, all you can do is not worry about it.
    Take your personal info out of the machine and if you need it, burn cd/dvd copies, a few USB thumb drives, Iron Keys or self encrypting external storage drives with key and/or keypad.
