Appraisal BSP "TEMPLATE.HTM"

Dear all:
Has anyone has experience with appraisal BSP "TEMPLATE.HTM"?
I am using ECC6.0 currently.
When I use transaction PHAP_START_BSP and launches "TEMPLATE.HTM", it will display a list of appraisal templates for me to create.
I will then select one of the templates and click the "CREATE" icon. However, it is not working. I logged an OSS note but SAP didn't respond.
I need to put this "TEMPLATE.HTM" BSP in my portal.
Can someone tell me if they have used this BSP and if it is working fine?

Hi, we found out that during the form construction, a field of style was left with the following html code, which was closing the form before its end.

Firefox and IE have different behaviors when this code happens twice and the opening code happens once.

I am implementing MSS and am getting an error under tab Employee Review for Objective Setting and Appraisals. The error is:
An error occurred: java.lang.Exception: Error in CFViewgroup.createListModel: No BSP-Template found!
Any clues as to how to fix this?

Now its been a while since ive seen that error .... id check the following:
1. User Parameters in the backend HR system
2. User Permissions in the backend HR system (although I dont think its related)
3. In Security Zones - ensure that the com.sap.portal.ep50 node has sufficient privs for your user.
BTW which versions of EP and HR are you using - that may have some bearing - ive only ever seen it on ECC5 and EP6.0 ...

We have transported MSS configuration from development to QA, and all the iViews works except the one Objective Setting and Appraisals, which displays the error message:
An error occurred: java.lang.Exception: Error in CFViewgroup.createListModel: No BSP-Template found!

I am also trying to implement ESS-MSS. I am facing a lot of problems in importing and configuring ESS-MSS. Can u send me some documents that u referred for the same? Im using EP 7.0 SP 10, ECC 6.0, XSS 600 SP 7. In all BSP iViews its throwing an error. Webdynpro iViews are running fine.

Appraisal Catalog Template layout change in PD(HR)

Hi All,
Can you please tell me how to change the layout of the SAP standard Appraisal Catalog Template to Client specific Appraisal Form in PD.
This is required since our client has given the company specific appraisal form which it does not match with the standard Appraisal Catalog Template provided by SAP.

Issue in retrival of Old Appraisal system template

Dear Expert,
landscape :ecc 6 , business package 1.41
Currently i am facing a problem in ESS/MSS regarding extracting old appraisal template.the scenario is currently old and new (objective setting and appraisal ) both are available at server . i activated old appraisal system but again system is no extracting appraisal data of the subordinates ,using path data Mss -> Team - > Personnel development -> Appraisals .
then i created an iview with BSP using HAP_Document but system is extracting new appraisal templete rather than old one.
Please let me know the solution as it is an urgent .

Dear Expert,
I took the follwoing steps
1. In the customization i use the subcomponent Appraisal Systems, this corresponds to the switch position <SPACE>.
2. in the portal content i create a new iview using template BSP based view, i gave the BSP application name : HAP_Document and start page name : Documents_todo.htm (for create purpose) , Documents_recieved_open (for display purpose)
3. in the customization i define the Iview path .
then execute the system , in the case of creation system showing new appraisal templates and in the case of view system is not showing the appraisals against employees .
Please advise wht to do .

Custom bsp template for MBO.

1. I've copied hap_document bsp application to my own z*.
2. I created a BAdI implementation based on definition HRHAP00_BSP_TMPL.
3. I've activated the implementation, went to the basic setting of OSA (transaction OOHAP_BASIC) and register the new implementation in exit area ‘AW – Web Layout’.
4.I've set for a template on the layout tab writer the WEB layout to the custom layout
And when i tring to make preview of my form in appraisal catalog, i got "500 Connection timed out" message. What i doing wrong?

Go to SICF
Go to your BSP ZHAP_DOCUMENT
Under Service Data tab you will find a field Session Timeout
Change that field to 2 to 5 min (it will be 00:00)
and Try testing the service
I m sure it will work.

I'am using HAP_DOCUMENT BSP's for Appraisal.It is working fine all these days, now it is giving me this error "220 Host Name.com SAP7.0(52) ESMTP service ready 500 Command unrecognized"

I had a similar error and had to rename the trainingtype.htm to trainingstype.htm. Aparently the uRL is calling the page with the wrong htm. Please proceed as below:
The bsp application is calling trainingstype.htm instead of trainingtype.htm.
A workaround is to use transaction <b>se80</b>. Select <b>BSP Application</b> and search for HCM_LEARINING . Expand the <b>Pages with Flow Logic</b> folder. Right mouse click on <b>trainingtype.htm</b> and rename to trainingstype.htm. You will need to register the object and provide access code. Activate the page after renaming.

Print Problem in Appraisal BSP HAP_DOCUMENT

I'am using HAP_DOCUMNET Biving SP's for appraisal.I created BSP iviews in EP and i'am using them.
There is a problem i'am facing in this BSP's,when i click on PRINT after creating Appraisal,it will ask me to either open or save in pdf.
But when i open or save it and open it is giving me this message in Adobe
"Acrobat could not open u2018webforms.pdfu2019 because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasnu2019t correctly decoded).
To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then print the document to Adobe PDF."
Any body please guide me with a solution.

Appraisal BSP form not saving in IE

We created an appraisal form that works fine in transaction PHAP_CHANGE_PA.
But when we access the BSP (HAP_DOCUMENT), the form presents a problem with Internet Explorer: it does not save, it only reloads the form with the old information. It happens with IE6 and IE7, but it works properly with Firefox2.
The problem only occurs in production system. The form works fine in DEV and QA. But we created a form directly in PRD that works fine, even though we haven't fixed the layout yet. The problem is that almost 2000 appraisals have already been created in the first form.
Any ideas? Or is there a way to migrate the appraisals that are already done to a new form?

[CS4] can I make a 'template' htm page with snippets?

I know about DW templates (well, more or less) and I know
about the
choice you get in Preferences to have your new htm(l) page in
DW come
up with the (x)html(strict or not so strict) doc type etc.
What I would like is:
I start a new page in DW(10?) from a praticular site defined
in DW and
lo and behold: my head is the way I want it, certain snippets
are
included et cetera.
Am I dreaming or is this possible?

two templates for your site, then I believe you have not
selected the
optimal method for your templates. And more than about 50-60
pages
dependent on a single template is going to quickly become a
pain IF YOU HAVE

I use the following scheme....
First, I mentally separate the page layout into three
sections:
1. Stuff that will not change for the life of the site (i.e.,
the basic
structural elements)
2. Stuff that *could* change from time to time (e.g.,
navigation elements,
burst advertisements, section-specific navigation, etc.)
3. Stuff that *will* change from one page to the next
Then I create a template containing all class1 elements. Next
I create
server-side include files containing all class 2 elements and
place them on
the template as needed. Note - some of the class 2 elements
may be
"section-specific elements", and their placement on the
template will be
subject to the next item. Finally, I insert editable regions
to cover the
class 3 items, INCLUDING the section-specific navigation.
This allows me to just cookie-cut the rest of the site. I
estimate that
even for fairly large sites, about 80% of my work goes into
planning and
creating this template file.

No Data display in My Appraisal BSP application of ESS

Hi all,
I have posted a thread regarding the My Appraisal in ESS using BSP but I didnt get any response for it.
Anyhow I have created but my problem is now I am not able to get the data for the created BSP iviews in portal.
If I do the preview it tells me like 'No table entries available' but data is available in 'APPSEARCH' so I want to know is there any backend configuration for it.
Please reply for it as soon as possible

I done that setting in Visual administrator in HTTP "pmistore" destination
I checked ICF services activacted spi_gate
In visual admin, looks ok, but SYSTEM ID, SYSTEM NO. and LANGUAGE was empty: I fill it out all information
Restart Server DEV
Checked RFC connection as well: works fine... CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts
Go back to End-to-End monitoring same does't show data in there....

When I goto RWB (Configuration) in configuration of domain

BSPs templates using rolemigration service *GIVE POINTS*

Hi,
I am trying to upload roles from the backend using standard
rolemigration service, it works just fine for each type of iview
ecxept BSP, so when I upload role from the backend system,
rolemigration service generates BSP iviews using wrong iView
template "com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.Generic" instead of
"com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.BSP"
How do I associate Right type of iView template during Role migration
process? I am on EP6sp13

I'm trying to cancel the popup error/warning windows that appears while opening an appraisal document.
