Appraisal/Feedback form in training and event management.
Hi Expert
I want to create appraisal feed back form or template in training & event management, where attendee can appraise the business event and instructor vis-a-versa.
My query is that-----
When I go to IMG node called appraisal under Training & event management node and click on appraisal catalog (t-code OOAM) than only one category group (personnel appraisal) is available however, I can create appraisal category and appraisal template under business event group for TEM appraisal.
Pls do let me know the steps to create the business event and attendee category group.
In integration table t77s0 I have set the following integration.
HAP00 REPLA set to A
SEMIN EVAPA is set to 3
AEMIN EVAEV is set to 2

I am getting an informational message ( select the business event) while booking the attendee to business event through t code PV00.
when I execute the t code PV00 than I found only business event type field instead of business event than why this message is displaying.
Due to that message I am not able to book attendee to business event.
Pls let me know where I am wrong.

I'm trying to configured the integration between Appraisal and Training & Event management (Appraising a Business Event and Attendee Appraisal
I set an attribute HAP00 REPLA = A .
But two problems occurred.
1.
The definition of Appraisal catalog for employees is no problem. But I have a problem with definition of Appraisal catalog for Business event and for Attendees.
Through the definition of Appraisal catalog via SPRO (Training and Event Management/Recurring Activities/Appraisals/Edit Appraisals Catalog) its possible to create an appraisal templates only for employees (it looks like that, because there is only Category group Personnel Appraisals and its not possible to add new category for example Attendee Appraisal).
Can somebody help me where I can define appraisal templates for Event management or how can I get the Appraisal catalog category groups - Appraising a Business Event and Attendee Appraisal?

I set the attributes SEMIN EVAEV/EVAPA to the values 2/3 in connection with table T77BF.
When I run tcode PV33 or PV34 the matchcode of appraisal templates contains the list of all object type VA. The problem is that when I run tcode PV33 I dont want to see all appraisal templates, but only for appraising a Business Event.
It is possible to configure that so? If yes, how.

Regarding Event Appraisal Functionality in Training and event management
Hi TEM gurus,
Client requirement is that an employee can give feedback for faculty daily. Suppose there is an event for 30 days and there are 5 instructors for this event. Now employee has to give feedback for all the instructor and day wise.
Is it possible for an employee to give feedback daily and for different instructors in training and event management ? How we can track the feedback given by the employee for different instructors day wise ?
I have given value as "A" in switch HAPP00 REPLA in T77S0 table. We have created different templates through OOAM.
While doing appraisal also i have to select employee individually and give event name again. Is there any way by which system can select all employees an event ID ?
kindly help me as ealry as possible.

Regarding your query on appraisal for every day of the business event, I am not sure if that's possible as it's the business event appraisal we are talking of here..and not the day. But I think individiual instructor appraisal should not be a problem.

Appraisal for Training and Event Management

Hope every one doing well.
I have a requirement regarding the Appraisal of Attendee and send to its reporting manager for review and Manger may change the rating and completed or reject for re-appraise from the attendee.
Note: We are not using LSO, using old Training and event management and we don't have any ESS,MSS system simply doing in ECC system only.
here i need the notification for the reporting manager once the attendee save his ratings, if i do with old appraisal functionality with APPCREATE & APPCHANGE system is not giving any notifications to the reporting manager.
if i go to new appraisal system that is with PHAP_CATALOG and PHAP_ADMIN i am not able to get the course's what employee attended for the training.
please can any one share your view how to do this.

i can't go through new appraisal model with catalog & template, because client is not having ESS,MSS. appraisal has to done in the ECC only.
Done the customization like this :
created scales
created appraisal model and assign the scales
for appraisal, Employee can do from APPCREATE transaction rate his own ratings and save.
Now Appraiser (Manager) from APPCHANGE complete the appraisal.
now my requirement is (1) after saving the APPCREATE by the employee, notification has to go to his reporting manager only. (2) Manager can do review/change and complete the process to his Employees only (who are reporting to him)
how can i do this, standard functionality is there or i have to go for ABAP coding ? if ABAP coding what i have to ask them to do.
Please help in this requirement.

There is no place as such but what u can do is u can store the different feedback forms in different subtypes and if u want you can change the test from General desciption to Feedback1 ....

Training and event management issues
Hi guys,
i am stucked with some of issue in training and event management...
1. Altough client is using TEM but for frontend they are using ESS.. Now problem is search functionality is not working in system. I am getting 0 result.
2. I can see the catalog properly but when i do the booking for the future course then system shows course is successfully booked but in Training Activities list that course is not appearing and nothing updated in backend and if i do booking for future course in the backend then after that i can see that course in the frontend also. same is happening for cancellation. other functionality like prebook, qualification working properly in the system
3. Client is using Appraisal functionality. i have configured appraisal in the backend but how we can do for frontend.
kindly help me regarding these issue as early as possiblee....

Also, are you using the customized BSP page ... If yes :
Please create a new BSP page copying from the standard BSP page and then enter the new page in the view LSPAGE_ALIAS_C.
Regarding appraisals in frontend, you will see a link of "perform course appraisal" under completed courses if you have configured this in a correct way.

Training and Event Management Implementation based on competencies
Dear Friends,
My client is going ahead for Training and Event Managment Implementation. They have a basic requirement to start with and that is :
1) They have done competency mapping for all its employees and they want that the competencies of each employees(along with the skill levels) to be recorded in the system and that has to be the starting point of using Training and Event Management module.
2) They want, if the competencies can flow based on Job/ Position.
3) Some identifier to the competencies, whther it has flowed from Appraisal or any other sources in the Final Training Needs.
Kindly provide me help, as to how I will be able to achieve that and in what Infotypes the data pertaining to Training and Event Managment will be stored.
If u all can kindly share with me the User Manuals and Configuration Docs of Training and Event Management, it will be of great help.

Competencies can be stored as qualifications in PD and then by activation of PD PA intergration can be seen from pa30 infotype 24.
Qualifications can be stored against a Job/Position and are called as the Requirements. They are seen as a separate Tab and to which ever position the person is linked to the corresponding qualifications of the position will appear in the requirements tab.
You can maintain the proficiency and a note along with the qualification when assigned to a person.
Also Appraisals can have qualifications in the template rather than criteria and criteria groups.
Also after training is completed during the follow up we can create an appraisal and transfer the qualifications or simply transfer the qualifications to the employee.

Few questions regarding Training and event management
Dear All,
Can you please help me with the following queries regarding Training and Event Management:
1. How to freeze a completed business event so that no changes to its record (like delete/update attendee details or event detail) is possible?
2. How to get feedback from attendee/faculty with a predefined format with rating (1-4 scale)
3. How to maintain department and category wise training man/hrs or training man/days?

1. Run report RHHISTO0 via SA38. Once the business event is flagged as "historical" no further changes can be done.

Then when events are followed up, these training data is recorded to employee 2002 infotype. You can report on it via PT90 (for department-based selection use "Further selections")

Getting Training and Event Management Data using IT0031
Scenerio:
One of the Employee Is Retired. Now we hire it again for the same role ( extending its period after posting it as retired).
So the good thing that we can use the IT0031 "Reference Personnel Numbers" to get the desired ITs and found that can get other cutomized ITs by checking in the "Copy Infotype" attribute of IT records.
Now this seems to be valid if we are in the same module
but waht if i want to get this magic "Referencing of ITs" done for the "Training and Event Managment" Data of the employee.
Is it Possible Automatically ... or have to go fro ABAP... (I will not prefer ABAP)...

TEM data is stored in HRP tables.
You can load the catalog by creating LSMWs for objects Business event group (L), Business event types (D), Locations (F), Organizers (U) as per requirement.
LSMW for tcode PP01 can be used to create these objects.
To create Business Events (E) you can create LSMW for PV10/PV11.
To book attendee create LSMW for tcode PV08 as here you can specify the actual business event ID which reduces ambiguity.
tcode PV12 to firmly book events
tcode PV15 to follow up

Training & Event Management runs between objects like business event group, business event type, types of resources like internal and external and resources also comprises of objects like room, different equipments.
Mainly you have to concentrate on the objects and the relationships which they hold.
You have to maintain settings for the above mentioned objects. and different infotypes.
First understand your client requirements then you can proceed for trainings / events.
It starts with training nomination and ends with training / trainee appraisal between these two steps there are differenct processes which purely depends on client to client.

To add new fields do the following:
- add the fields in structure CI_PPVARC
- create a form for each field in customer report (use RHKMIT30 as copy pattern)
- assign those fields in table T77VC
Also, I suggest to create a new form and notification abbreviation.
- create new notif. abbr. in table T77VE
- assign the notif. abbr. to an activity in table T77VI
- create a new form in SE71 (use a standard one as copy pattern e.g. HR_ALL_BUCH)
- assign new action to the form in table T77VD

Corespondence in Training And Event Management
Dear Friends,
We are using Correspondence functionality in Training and Event management. We have done chnages in the SAP Script based forms and Automatic mail triggering is set properly.
When mail notification is going to participants automatically then MAIL CONTENT is going as a PDF attachment file. When i am generating Correspondence Manually then notification is going as simple mail content, so formating of the mail in case of manual generation get distrubed. Header, text of mail and footer text are not coming properly in mail content.
How i can send mail notification as PDF file for manual correspondence also ? I am using TEM module not LSO.
