Appraisal template not visible-urgent!!

Hi All,
We have implemented Appraisals (MBO) module, we have created an appraisal template for same.
The data is now being transferred to production server, hence the problem is that the Appraisal template what we created is <b>not visible in front end</b>.
Hence can some help what may be the reason for this. I have check plan version & user paramters.
What are the other areas where we can lookin for this problem??

Hi Maurice,
We have created the App template. Tough we have done all settings in SPRO in prod server, when checking it in Easy Acess it is saying that <b>"Template does not existes"</b> (i.e tcode APPCREATE)
We checked in Dev & Quality, there it is running properly. We even checked all parameters required for Per devp module.
Hence could you help me regarding this??

Performance Management: 'Share with Main Appraiser' button not visible

Hi Gurus,
I am using Oracle R12.1.3, Performance Management module.
I am trying to publish Performance Management Plan with Objective setting and Appraisals both tasks. Appraisal plan is set to be appraisee initiated, standard appraisal
However - When the appraisee is trying to initiate the appraisal (by clicking 'Update' on the appraisal task appeared) - s/he sees all the objectives set and get to choose a performance rating. However - the button 'Share with Main Appraiser' button is not visible.
When I am trying to create a Performance Management Plan with only 'Appraisals' - this problem is not occurring. Any clue as to how to rectify this problem?
PS - I have tried disabling personalizations and re-tried several times - but the same error occurs.
Would really appreciate any response which might help.

I'm thankful for your effort Hussein. However, this document is applicable for version 12.1.4+ while I am working on 12.1.3. I re-tested the thing after making some changes in appraisal template where I ticked 'Update Appraisals for Terminated Workers' and also checking 2 more related check-boxes. Surprisingly it worked.
Also if I am selecting method for objective allocation as 'Parallel' - then also this error is not occurring - even with old appraisal template. Although this hit and trial worked, I do not have a logical view about the solution and correctness in all environments yet.

WF Template not visible

Hi All,
Template is not visible in PFTC and SWDD when I entered template in PFTC and SWDD.
After entering wf template in field of SWDD and clicking enter template is not displayed.
Also when i enter digits of template and select wf template in PFTC template not displayed.
WF is WF00800042.

If you try to display a task or workflow in PFTC, you need to remove the prefix (for example WS).
For example in your case in PFTC select workflow template and enter 00800042. (I am not sure either if this workflow exists in any system - where did you find out that this WF should exist)?

Appraisal Document not visible to further Participant

Hi Members,
I have used three participants in "category" option of Appraisal template.
1. Appraisee - Employee
2. Appraiser - Supervisor
3. Further Participant - HOD
In Enterprise Portal , i am using a BSP page (from SE80 --> BSP Application --> HAP_Document_Pa --> Pages with Flow Logic --> documents_todo.htm) in MSS, earlier the HOD was able to find the appraisal document, but for unknown reasons, now the HOD is not able to find the appraisal document.
And in criteria Group, though i have given the change option to Supervisor through element access and display option to Employee and HOD, but even the supervisor is not able to make changes in the criteria group, as the text box is displayed in grey (non editable mode).
Kindly help me know the reason and solution, so that HOD could complete his part of review from his MSS screen.

Thnx for responding.
Yes a separate Iview is created to call the BSP page, and we have used "documents_todo.htm" and even the supervisor (in Review) and HOD (In Process) were able to view the appraisal document as and when the statuses changes, because the BSP page "documents_where_participated.htm" shows the appraisal documents even if the document is with employee or supervisor.
About the value of i-view parameter MODE as X, do you mean "parameters to pass from Page Request (for URL isolation)" is not set as 'X', as the portal guy is not available at the moment, me being a functional consultant, i also need to fix the BSP issues through Portal.
But i want start afresh, when the appraisal document is "in planning", the document should be available with the employee, when the appraisal document is in "In review" stage, the document should be available with the Supervisor, when the appraisal document is in "In Process" stage, the document should be available with the HOD.
Plz suggest the BSP's for employee, supervisor and HOD, correct me if i need to make any corrections in the statuses or participants.

Roadmap structure not visible - Urgent help pls...

Hello All,
I tried creating a custom roadmap with my own folder structure. I created it as all subfolders.
Once I am done with creation, I tried with RMMAIN transaction to view the same. But unfortunately I am not able to see the structure created by me.
I am sure that I am missing something with the 'Entry Screen' button of the RMAUTH transaction. But not able to figure out what it is. When I press the 'Entry Screeen' button, I am able to see all the folders I created for my Roadmap structure.
But the same is not visible in RMMAIN. Can anybody help me figuring out what I am missing and where I am missing?
Any input in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Without having to go into a lot of details on this - there are ample details on how to use these objects together to create a custom road-map. There can be a number of things wrong that are not being satisfied by the work you have done so far. You can access the guide in the http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager -> media library -> documentation -> 4.0 SP12 File. Goto the section on Creating RoadMaps - it can explain all the nuances better than I can. Personally I think that there is an issue with the flavor and how you have assigned your components such that when you created your project - there was nothing to display but go through the guide anyhow and see what might be the issue.
Remeber that you can always copy a RoadMap and then remove a bunch of stuff that you don't like - this is the typical method of doing business that I have seen that works pretty well. Making these from scratch can be a bit of a pain.

FOI Layer not Visible - Urgent

I have created a base map and able to view the map in HTML client. I have created one geometry theme for which I want to add as a themebasedFOI on the client side.
I have gone through the mapviewer examples and coded accordingly. In the mapviewer server , I can see output statements which states that features found for FOI theme , but still not visible on client side on the basemap.
and more query is regarding cache invalidation -- I created a tilelayer cache derived from the base map. What config should be done so that if any change in data , mapviewwer should invalidate the current tile cache image and generate new image based on the modified data. I have currently set the life time and interval time in mapviewer_Config.xml , but no change in tile cache if any data is changed.
Can anyone help on this?

your problem seems to be that you didn't purge the cache of the map
you can purge chached metadata of the data source from
localhost:7001/mapviewer/faces/admin/admin_ds.jspx
if u changed some themes you can purge theme @ this page

you can search about action of the two buttons "Bring Online" and "Take offline" of your tile layer from Manage Map Tile layers pages

Web template not visible and editable by others

Hi Guru,
I have a problem of sharing a web templated with others . In the WAD, I created a web template and saved the template. By default, it is saved in the favorite folder. However, it is not accessable or visible by another developer who needs to continue the development on this template. I have asked our SAP BW security person and she tried a few things and it didn't work. Can someone share the insights of what we should do to allow a web template created by one person to be edited by another person? Thanks in advance.

If you provide the other person with the name of the template, he should be able to modify it. Instead of searching when opening, enter the exact name.

Document templates not visible in Complaints transaction

Dear CRM gurus,
CRM 5.0
I created an MS word document template using tcode CRM_KW_TEMPL in CRM 5.0 for the business object type BUS2000120 which is a complaint. However, after saving the template when I go into CRMD_ORDER for creating a complaints transaction type & try creating a new document based on the template, the name of the template is not shown in the window which opens up for selecting the template.
I have done the background config for setting up the document template profile, folder template & assigning these to the transaction type header. Can someone please let me know what could I be missing?

Please confirm if you see URL as http:localhost:99/_layouts/images. or http//:localhost:99/_layouts/images.
Is it same behavior on all sites or just 1 site
What do we see in Fiddler traces
Did you made any changes in DOCICON.XML
or some where else

List Template not visible

Hi,
I have two sites A and B.
I save a list as template in site A and then import it in site B. I can create a new app using that template.
I save another list as template in site A and then import it in site B successfully. But this one I don't see in the app lists.
Is there a limit on number of templates that can be migrated ? If not, kindly clarify.

Oracle ADF with Mapviewer - POINT THEME not visible ( Urgent Please)

Hi All,
I am new to oracle adf and mapviewer and I am configuring a application to display a base map ( with some tables) and point theme ( different table) which can be selectable.
I have created a base map using oracle map builder and created tile layer.
Using Oracle ADF Geo Map component , configured the above base map and mapviewer server
and defined data control to create point theme....and configured long/lat values .
But no luck, unable to see the point theme on the map. Please help me ASAP.

ESS EHP5: Appraisal document not working

I am implementing performance appraisal (EHP5 and BP ESS 1.50) and am sorting out the very confusing scenario of EHP4 and EHP5 versions of appraisal documents. I am using the pmp version EHP5 and BP ESS 1.50 (BP ESS 1.41 not installed). I did basic setting in Object Setting and Apprsaisals (repla = X) and created a category and a basic template (Do I need to do this if I use the predefined version?).
But when I run the iViews, I got a system dump from the pmp version ...
Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible
Error Code: ICF-IE-http .....RABAX_STATE -e: OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO
I checked sap note 1319829 but our basis guy said we are ok with sap basis level (level 7)
... and this error from the flexible version:
The Web Dynpro application was called up with the wrong URL parameters
I checked some related notes about OBN configuration but they are only for EHP4. I've very little about EHP5. And from what i found, the EHP5 PMP version already takes care of OBN configuration in the iviews and launchpads.
BF and extension sets are all on as far as I can see.
My questions are: is BP ESS 1.4 needed to run appraisal for EHP5? Is Object setting configuration needed for EHP5 (predefined) which is abap based, since whe I tried the template (web layout), it shows BSP sicf bsp services not activated.

I have following scenario in PMS (not using Talent Management)
I am using Flexible PMS (Objective setting & Appraisals) with setting " HAP00 REPLA as A".
HR is triggering the template through PHAP_CREATE giving Appraisee, Appraiser and Reviewer.
After that, i am logging in through Appraisee id in the ECC and trying to see the document in Infotype 0024, tab (Appraisal where Appraisee / Appraiser)
but i am not able to see the document however i am able to see the document for Appraiser in Infotype 0024, tab (Appraisal where Appraiser) when logging in through appraisers id in ECC
May i request your expert opinion regarding the above mentioned issue.
Note: Status Flow in Appraisal Template is correctly defined.

Button not visible in ess or mss appraisal portal.

i have implimented custome BADI implimentation for standard BADI " HRHAP00_ADD_HEADER " for my appraisal template for ess and mss. it is showing one additional data button in header section of the template. when i see this template in R/3 system in dev cleint or any cleint in server it is showing the additional data button. but when i go to web browser to open appraisal portal for ess or mss adn check the button is not visible there. please help. if it showing the additional buton in R/3 system adn standard BADI is implimented then it must show it in portal in web browser also. portal is built in web dynpro abap standard only.

I guess HRHAP00_ADD_HEADER badi is for only backend changes

URGENT: TRANSPORTING APPRAISAL TEMPLATE

Dear Friends,
I had created an appraisal template in my SandBox development client.
I then downloaded it and then uploaded it in the Golden Masters Client.
I also created a transport request at the time of saving the template in Golden Masters.
In my Testing client, I used SCC1 to transport the template and other appraisal settings from Golden Masters to the testing client.
Now, when I execute Tcode: APPCREATE in my testing client, the systems returns a message "No template found".
What might be the problem?
How can I solve it?
Please help, its urgent!!!

For transporting from one server to another server dont use scc1 use se09,se10 for using transport request and then try yaar definetely you will get i think so you are mirroring from one client to one client you are not transporting.

PDS Appraisal Completed - Document not visible to manager

Dear ,
We are going live with Objective settings and performance appraisal. The functionality working well except an issue. The completed appraisal of subordinate is not visible to manager where as the same is visible to employee.
Any idea why manager nnot able to see completed document after employee agreed on the PDS?

3..more over you check manager position coming under which position....

Appraisal template standard buttons not working via ESS/MSS

The error which I am facing in appraisal template is as follows
When I click on any button on appraisal template no action takes place.
Kindly let me know how can I resolve this error.
we are using BSP application HAP_DOCUMENT.
according to me page fragment 'document_buttons.htm' (Method CONVERT_BUTTON_TO_UI) contains the code for button creation and button handling
the page fragment 'document_buttons.htm' is getting triggered when page is initialized but it is not triggering when button is clicked.
Additional info that might be useful to resolve the issue:
1) While viewing appraisal template's web layout in t-code PHAP_CATALOG_PA.
I am facing following script error.
This error reappears when I click on any standard button For eg SAVE
2) We are currently using IE 8
3) We recently upgraded ECC system from ECC 6.0 to ECC 6.0 / EHP 6 (ECC 6.6)
4) I checked SICF and corresponding services are active

Design2008 service is inactive in my system.when activated temporarily I was not able to see previous page (Blank page was displayed) in my appraisal application.
For BSP application HAP_document, i checked SICF->default host->SAP->BC->BSP->SAP->HAP_document.This service is active.
The image which I have attached with my question is appraisal template's web layout in t-code PHAP_CATALOG_PA.
