Archiving of spool requests (ERS documents) Apprentice Project HELP needed..

I'm an apprentice from Germany and I have to do a project for my final exams. I could desparetly Need some help on getting started.
In our SRM, we have a program for the Generation of ERS documents (credit note?).
Firstly, the Programm BBPERS creates ERS Idocs on Basis of stock-receipt (?). Secondly, the program RSPPFPROCESS sends the ERS invoice to the supplier via mail.
The document is saved only as an email.
We do have a Z-Programm, ZZBBPERS, that is used for subsequent creation of ERS documents as PDFs. These are saved in the Spool, but for each invoice a different spool number is created.
Now my Task is to find a way to Archive these ERS documents into an external Archive. We use d.3 as Archive, I don't know if you have heard of it. But that shouldn't matter right now.
So the question is, how can this be achieved? I don't really know anything about archiving in SAP. And this is a very Special case. Where do I have to start? Do I Need to write a program, or can I use some of SAPs Standard possiblities? What programs are there for archiving spools? Can they be defined as only archiving Spools from program X? Where do I define archiving procedures?
I hope some of you can get me started. I don't Need a perfect solution right off the bat, just a place to start and ideas how to Approach this Project.

So the Business object should be the BUS2207, right? This is our Business object for ERS. We don't have BUS2081, what is that?
edit: Wait, what is the difference between Business Object and Archiving Object? We do not have an archiving object vor ERS.
To clarify: We do not book in SRM, we are sending it per Idoc to another SAP System where the booking takes place.
We are just creating the PDF out of the BUS2207 and sending it to the vendor via RSPPFPROCESS and Action "BBP_ERS".
Can you tell me where I can see detailed Information for the Archive Connection? I have the entry in OAC0 with IP address and all. But we have no records of ever archiving in this System so how can I see Connection details and test it?
I also have to analyze if ArchiveLink is already set up and working..
Also, where do I define how the files are saved in the storage System? With this I mean like in which Content repositories / Folders and so on they are saved.
What Information are given to the PDF? All document informations, like Dates invoice number and so on? How can I use them for my Archive structure?

Can spilling a cup of coffee on a MacBook Pro really damage it beyond repair, like in tonight's episode of Celebrity Apprentice?
Is there not any shielding, like in ThinkPads?
Wow, I am starting to miss my old ThinkPad.

Rarely is anything completely beyond repair when it comes to computers. The question is whether it is worth paying the cost of repair or just replacing.
We have had plenty of Thinkpads ruined at work due to people spilling drinks on them so they are not immune either.

Apprentice Editing Station - Will Express Work?

I currently use Final Cut Studio and need to add an additional workstation for capturing and logging footage.
This second workstation will be used by an apprentice for minimal editing - mostly lining up and trimming shots. I am considering purchasing the current version of Final Cut Express for this task.
Can I use Final Cut Express to capture, log and set-up sequences, then transfer those projects to Final Cut Pro 5 for final editing and mastering?
I don't see a need for projects to go the other way (Pro to Express) and would really like to avoid the expense of purchasing another version of Studio.

FCE doesn't do batch capture - it only captures single clips while logging or using Capture Now. It also only does DV or HDV.
Not sure about the compatibility of captured files. Though, you would think the latest version of FCE would write in a usable format...

Don't count on Flash support with this gen of touch/iphone.
There's a good reason why almost all PDA's and other similar devices with wifi and a browser also do not support Flash--it uses more resources than they can provide. Most modern applications of Flash (videos and games, for example) would bring the IPT to its knees. Use of Flash also gobbles up lots of RAM.
A Flash capable browser would be awesome to have in your pocket, but right now you'd be looking at an Archos 605, which is a beast (in good and bad ways) compared to the IPT.
Taking another perspective, the Web's reliance on Flash could have already peaked. If YouTube (Google)is willing to convert their entire library to a more open standard (H.264), it could be a sign that some of the big players (including Apple) are trying to weaken Adobe's grip on the embedded video monopoly that they currently enjoy.

ADDT Registration Wizard - more like the sorcerer's apprentice!

When trying to start the Registration Wizard it continually gives the error shown at the link below - the 'user' table doesn't exist. The login Settings panel shows that it clearly does! (see link here below)
All 'includes' and 'connections' have been properly uploaded and show up as they should on a Linux system running PHP4.

ITunes Has taken over my computer. It's like the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

ITunes won't stop opening of its own accord every few minutes and starts playing the first song on my playlist. I have tried all the usual rememdies and nothing works. I downloaded the latest update that put my music in the Cloud just a couple of days ago, and I can only imagine that this is related to that. Any suggestions? Right now I'm living with the sound turned off and it's a pain. Thanks

Was wondering what the take here (pun intended) is on FCP and it's future! For a while I was seeing lots of FCP editors needed, then it goes back to Avid (especially for television) and was wonder what everyone thinks the future holds for FCP users in the work place!
In addition, just starting out, what are some fair rates compared to a season pro (FCP). I know the standard rate for Avid editors. Just wondering if someone could HASH out a list, from assistant (digitizing, edits, batch processing) to assistant editor/sound designer to FULL BLOWN pro with FCP!

There are no reliable figures that accurately reflect employment or applications-in-use. They are all anecdotal and they change with seasons and which part of which industry you are attempting to evaluate. Pick a product and get good at it or, as many of the wonks around here, get REALLY good with many popular products.

You didn't state your location or what you have heard is a "standard rate" for Avid editors: it's the same or it's different. Is there a different rate in your market area for a guy who can play a 12-string guitar than a woman who can play a 4-string bass? Your emphasis in audio and music sets you apart from millions of other video dweebs. Exploit those skills because I don't have any such.

Fax is like the Sorcerer's Apprentice sending multiple unwanted copies

Help. I tried to FAX a single copy of two different documents to a friend this morning, and each time it kept sending multiple copies of the document and would not stop until I manually told the modem to hang up. I only knew this was happening because I called them as I was sending it to make sure they wer receiving it since they urgently requested me to send it to them. If anyone has any suggestions about how to prevent this from happening in the future, I would really appreciate your input. I really don't want to be wasting people's paper by sending a bunch of redundant FAXes.
Another problem with the first document that I was trying to send, which was a web page, was that, the it should have contained more than one page, but it just kept sending the first page of the document, the first section of the web page. Do I need to save something like that as a pdf first for it to send all the pages?

Archiving Evaluated Receipt Settlements (Apprentice project)

Hi all,
I have a few questions regarding the archiving of Evaluated Receipt Settlements (ERS) in SRM.
I'm trying to Archive the PDF document that is sent to the vendor.
My question are as follows:
1) Is BBP_INV the correct archiving object for ERS or do I Need to create a custom one?
2) When trying to Change the spool mode from "Mail" to "Mail and Archive", I have to fill the attached fields.
What do I have to fill in "Archive object type" ? I can choose e.g. BUS2207, which is our ERS object. But is that correct?
3) Where / How can I manage where the files are stored? Can I store them based on criteria like vendor, date, ERS number and so on, or does this have to be customized?
4) In our old System, we already have the Archive linked to the System. But for the new one, I Need to do it. What steps have to be taken to implement the HTTP Content Server? I know I have to define Content Repository and define it via CSADMIN but that can't be all right?
