Apprisal Document(Quick Criteria maintainance)

Hi ,
I got requirement to create apprisal iview in portal
i mapped my user to the backend user and it has apprisal documents
but they are not visible in portal directly when open the iview
instead they are comming when i go to "Quick Criteria maintainance" and selecting the template
please let me know how to get this with out the "Quick Criteria maintainance" steps

if we take a print of appraisal document from ESS/MSS we get Portrait form of print, but can we get it in landscape form print

FPM_POWL_UIBB hides Quick Criteria Maintenance

Dear FPM Experts,
I am using FPM_POWL_UIBB and I cannot see the quick criteria maintenance view called "SELECTION_SCREEN".
When using the standard web dynpro application "POWL" the quick criteria maintenance view is visible.
Any help will be most appreciated,

Hi Oren,
To address this issue, just go to the POWL Component Configuration (for given application is FPM_TEST_POWL_UIBB_CC). Under Configuration Context confData, untick the attribute enableNewUi and mark it as final.
Also just to be sure, please run the report POWL_D01 to clear the cache.

Managers can't see their employees when creating apprisal documents in Performance Management

Hi All,
I'm looking for you experts to enlighten me regarding an issue with the SAP Performance Management solution. We have recently (2013) implemented the Performance Management solution and everything has worked as expected. Now, we are in the process where the managers create the employees appraisal documents for the evaluation of the year 2013. The issue we are encountering is that managers who have been transfer to a new organizational unit are not able to see the employees which they supervised before the transfer.
Currently our company has an structural profile which is assigned to all the managers and supervisors, and this profile gives access to the employees which are assign to the manager or supervisor. In addition we have an MSS role for managers and supervisors, and here we added the authorization object P_HAP_DOC to authorize manager to perform the PM process.
Why the managers/supervisors who have been transfer are not able to see their employees?

Yes, as the manager (appraiser) I have created the document in documents_todo.htm.
I went to t-code phap_admin_pa and the document exists. The manager's name and employee's name are listed and the status is listed as In Process.
When I use t-code phap_start_bsp, then documents_received_open2.htm and log in as the employee, there are no documents listed.
I am not sure what is missing Any more ideas?

hi all
when i am working with Appraisal document i view which is designed in wdabap application,this is a standard application.the problem here is previously i got an portal run time error,but i resolved this error by changing the system name in properties of the object,
Now when i chk the preview of that i view it is giving an error that THE WEB DYNPRO APPLICATION WAS CALLED UP WITH THE WRONG URL PARAMETER.
can anyone please share their Exp's on this and how to rectify this.

Creating Apprisal Document with different templates

Hi Friends
I am trying to create appraisal documents for employees. How can I manage this for 1000 employees and my LSMW is not considering the VA(Appraisal Template ID), so I need to create seperately.
Experts kindly suggest how do we normally create appraisal documents for a group of employees on a quarterly basis.

Hi Surya,
With the new appraisal system, you have transaction PHAP_PREPARE that allow you to create multiple appraisal documents at once.
You can create them using wizards to select the appraiser/tenmplate/appraisee, or using the organization unit.

How to get change log for fields if change document flag is not maintained?

Hi experts,
My requirement is display the change log details for the transaction FAGLGA32.
In this transaction we have the Field Groups block.if any change is happened for field group we need to capture the change.
the field for the field group is RKAL1-FGFLG1 and the data element is FGFLG.
In the data element FGFLG, the flag CHANGE DOCUMENT is not maintained.
How to get the change log details for the fields for which the change document flag is not maintained at data element level?

F.13 Line items of the same document are cleared together

Good afternoon all,
My doubt I think is quite easy to answer. One accountant of my client has posted a reclassification document (from one GL account to the same GL account but with different profit center). The GL account has open item management.
Key conditions for F.13 are Amount and XREF3 fields.
When we execute the program both positions of the same document are cleared together what could be something like a deletion of the document.
Is it OK? Is it possible to exclude the clearing of positions of the same document?
Please let me know.

Hi,
System will clear the debit and credit transactions for a GL account based on the criteria maintained in OB74 - table TF123.
It does not matter whether it is for the same document or different documents. At the time of automatic clearing, It will search for the items which matches the given criteria and clear it.

"Document container" search problem

I swear this worked yesterday. Today "Document Container" criteria only works for iCloud documents. Anywhere else on my Mac, it simply produces 0 results whatever I do to it. Reindexed entire Mac, restarted, repaired disk permissions -- no change. Document Container search on anything other than iCould simply stopped working. Any ideas?

It looks like I have a rare problem here. I tried everything I could find.
I repaired permissions using Disk Utility.
I reset permissions from the Restore menu.
I dragged the hard drive to Privacy window and deleted again to reindex. Also tried restarting before reindexing.
I tried using the command line to stop, clear, restart indexign.
Finally, I revealed hidden files, deleted the Spotlight package, restarted and started Spotlight again.
...and I tried several other smaller command line tricks to no avail.
There is really nothing else I could find. I still have the same situation. Document Container filter only works on iClouds documents. Hard drive shows 0 results. Does anyone have any suggestion or went through similar situation and found a solution. I created a list of smart folders to help me quickly access certain files and folder using Document Container filter. Worked one day, the next day they all showed 0 results.

Getting message 'Press Spacebar to Activate' in Maintain Appraisals in ESS.

I am getting message displayed 'Press Spacebar to Activate' when clicking on tab for second page of Apprisal document in Maintain Appraisals.
Can you please help?

When manager clicks on the next page tab(to navigate to second page of appraisal) nothing happens and when he holds the mouse over that button, it displays a message saying "Press SPACEBAR to activate".

Regarding- Packing Line Item Not Displayed in the Delivery Document.

I have 2 queries
1) Have created separate Material Type Packaging for my packing material and the item category group used is VERP, my Orginal Material is getting packed in the Delivery Document, however the packed item is not coming as a separate line item in the Delivery document, I have maintained the item category settings for the Delivery Packing Material and also the packing Material contains stock,
2) The Plant and Storage Location for my handling unit need to get defaulted autmatically in the delivery document what settings should I configure for the same.

Hi Param,
SAP B1 is quite restrictive in the case of closed documents. What you can do is create a delivery note exactly same as the one which is closed. In the remarks field/or any other suitable field add the 'closed delivery note' document number to maintain the traceability. Create the invoice exactly the one you were going to for 'closed delivery note'.

Error during the replication of inbound delivery document to GTS

While trying to transfer an inbound delivery from the feeder system to the GTS system, I am getting the following error, eventhough the customs document type TRLOIM is assigned to the Feeder sys doc type EL, at application level MM0B in customs management. The inbound delivery document has been maintained with the Prev Doc Type T1 & Prem Doc No in the Foreign trade Data
Customs document type cannot be determined for external document type

Hi Ram,
Please use OSS note1238850 to fix the issue, this error comes as your doc type EL is not getting transferred when you are sending I/B delivery.

How can I make a link or icon to a document on my iPad?

I would like to create a bookmark icon on my iPad to a document I create. I can email my documents to myself without any problem or make a link from dropbox, but I would like to be able to make a link that I can open on my iPad without being online. For instance, I can e-mail a document to myself and then open it in different apps, but I am not given a choice of creating a link or bookmark icon on my iPad to get to that document quickly for when I don't have Internet access.

If you open the document in Adobe Reader, then Adobe Reader will keep a copy of the file. You can later launch Reader and open it from there while offline.

You will get Document Type for PR.
Details of this document type are maintained in MM
SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Requisition>Define Document Types
