Experts,
I have feq uestions on OFFLINE APPROVAL set up in SRM 7.
1. Do I need to scehdule the report /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALGET for the inbound emails to be prcoessed and status for shopping carts/PO correctly updated?
2.Do the backgorund jobs (for reports /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALGET and /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND need to be schdueld with WF-BATCH user only??
3. Also the user used to schedule the jobs should it be a DIALOG user?
4. in S050,should i maintain the email address for the user which is used to schedule the backgorund jobs?
5. In SICF,node configurationfor SMTP need to be maintained ?

HI,
1. it depends on your configuration, if you will use inbound processing or not. If you use inbound (at SO50 the class is set) then you should not schedule the /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALGET as a job.
2. it depends on the customer. I have seen with the wf-batch and with other names but with the same rights and config of WF-batch.
3. you can use the swu3 to create the wf-batch user. I have set as type system.
4. yes you need the emaill of the user who is the processor
5. this is a basis configuration, I am not sure. ( you will need to setup the sapconnet)

Remove Approval Required for SIT in SSHR

Hi
We've added Special Information to Employee Self Service but it goes through the approval hierarchy. How do we de-activate this so that no approval is required. The SIT is forms based.

All the SSHR workflow transactions are by default included in an AME condition which goes to the supervisor hierarchy.
To disable this rule:
either remove the SIT JSP_PRC attribute from this standard AME Condition (it will be easy to spot as it has a long list of workflow process names in the condition)
or
remove the AME call from the function parameters for this workflow transaction. The parameters will look something like this
&pAMETranType=SSHRMS&pAMEAppId=800&pProcessName=HR_GENERIC_APPROVAL_PRC

Approval Setup for SC from external system.

Hi Experts,
We have a scenario where we want to leverage the SC Workflows for any kind of SC (manualy created or the SC created from external rerquirements that come from ECC PM/MRO/PS systems).
SAP has clearly claimed that the ext reqs flipped to a SC always come with a status 'Approved'.
We would really like to explore the the kind of development required to acheive this.
One way we thought was to use the doc_change badi to change the status of the SC but the interface doesnot have the CRM_JEST table to make changes. It looks like a core mod change.
Would really appreciate if some one could give us some hints on the kind of development this will require or a starting point to make this happen.

Please make sure your link still can be accessed.
The WebBrowser displays HTML content in applications running in a Silverlight 4 or later out-of-browser applications or in Silverlight 5 in-browser trusted applications only.

There is nothing out of the box to do this.
You have some customization options. It will be a little complex.
1) Write a db trigger to change the status from approved to incomplete when records are inserted into the req import table
2) Oracle provides a package which is a hook into the release process. The exact name of the package escapes me but it is something like msc_release_hook.
This package is called after ASCP puts the data in the req. table but before the req import process is launched. Add code here that changes the status to incomplete.

The database is on SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 CU6 Failover Cluster (CLS-SQL4\MSSQLSERVER04)
Cluster nodes: SQL01 and SQL01. On all nodes made necessary the Security Setup of SCCM. No errors and warning on SCCM Monitoring.
The cluster service is running on the account: sqlclusteruser
The account has the appropriate SPN are registered:

The site server is trying to install the sms_backup agent on the SQL Server Cluster nodes.
Without successfull bootstrap the siteserver backup is not able to run successfully.
Try grant everyone the read permisson on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS on the SQL server nodes.
This worked for me.
After that a Folder named "SMS_<SITESERVER-FQDN>" appeared on C: on the SQL Cluster nodes, and a "SMS_SITE_SQL_BACKUP_FQDN" Service should be installed.
After the new Folder is created and the new Service is installed, you can safely remove the bootstrap Service by opening a command prompt and enter:
sc delete "SMS_SERVER_BOOTSTRAP_FQDN-of-SiteServer_SMS_SQL_SERVER"

VVVIMP : Approval hierarchy for Move Orders in Inventory

Dear Gurus,
First of all Wish you all a Very Happy New Year 2011.
Now the query is : We are using Move Order Requisition flow for one of the requirement. After doing all the setups for Move Order Approval, System is not triggering Approval Process.
Infact once i click the "Approve" button ideally the system should change the status as to "Pending Approval" but it is getting approved.
What could be the issue and how to trigger the workflow. Please suggest me and give me your inputs ASAP.
I am in desperate need of this. Please share with me if you have any document.

Step 1. Employee got created correctly
Navigate>Human Resources responsibility>People>Enter and Maintain - Done
Step 2. Employee got attached to the planner correctly
Navigate >Inventory>Setup>Planners - Done.
Step 3. Employee got attached to the User correctly
Navigate>System>Administrator>Security>User>Define - Done
Step 4. Item got attached to the planner correctly
Navigate>Inventory>Items>Item master - Done

Team Calendar warning - No Team setup for the user in the selection period.

Good morning,
I am attempting to replace the older iViews (leaverequestapprover and teamcalendar) with the newer iView (approveleaverequest) which seems to combine the two functions.
When implementing the approveleaverequest iView, I get the following mesaage "No Team setup for the user in the selection period. Contact Administrator."
However, looking at the older Team Calendar iView, teamcalendar, I can see the team. Both iViews are assigned to the Team page for comparison.
Not sure what's wrong but I'm confident I have all the configuration correct else the test team members wouldn't be appearing in the older iView. I've read some other unanswered posts that asked the same question and rechecked all the objects people had suggested.
What's even more puzzling, if I have one of my managers submit a leave request to their manager, the approveleaverequest iView will show the entire team with the leave request for the manager waiting for approval.
I'm stumped and could use some guidance on how to get the team calendar to work.

CSS11501 - VIP Setup for DR in Active/Active Mode

I have the following request from the Email team:
EXISTING - CSS at Site A (in one-armed mode) supports "webmail" app for the following ports:
- content webmail_http, port 80
- content webmail_https, port 443
- content webmail_imap, port 143
- content webmail_imaps, port 993
- content webmail_pop3s, port 995
NEW - Adding 2nd CSS at Site B support the same app/tcp ports with new servers/mailboxes at site B
Site A & Site B are physically/logically separated by a MAN (behind different WAN/LAN routers/switches, in different IP subnet/vlan).
Want to setup DR in active/active mode, ie. both CSS's at Sites A & B support "webmail" VIP - load sharing.
How would CSS config be setup for this request:
Main VIP - "webmail"
Load sharing between 2 VIP's - "webmail_siteA" & "webmail_siteB" from 2 CSS's at different sites?

There are 3 different ways to handle an active/active setup - you can use 'VIP and interface redundancy', GSLB on the CSS ,or a GSS and CSS combination.

GSS/CSS Combo:
There are no direct examples, but in effect, you would have 2 different domains, one for each site. The answers for those domains would be vips and based on both Kal-Ap and rtt from the client to each answer (hence if a site goes down, the client will be directed to the other side.) With this mode, the CSS's can be configured for no redundancy/awareness of eachother at all if that is what is desired.

Configuration setup for active-standby and active-active

Hi
Having two sites separated by WAN and want to distribute the load between those two sites as Active-Active setup. want to whether it can be possible to have a active-standby pair at each site if not what is the work around to setup.

I would suggest the following setup as 'best practice' for this requirement.
At site A have a TimesTen A/S pair hosting data in range 'A' - 'M'. This provides local HA for this dataset. Remote readonly subscriber of this A/S pair located at site B. This provides read access to data 'A' - 'M' at site 'B'. in the event of a total failure of site A this remote subscriber can be converted into the active of a new A/S pair (located at site B).
Same setup in reverse for site B.
If the hardware is adequate you only need two machines at each site since you can host the readonly subscriber on the same machine as one of the local A/S pair datastores and if you need to do a site level failover you could host both A?S pair on a single pair of machines. Of course availability will be higher with 4 machines at each site. It is a cost/benefit trade off.
This is really the only viable/supported setup to have both sites active if using IMDB cache.

OK, here is what I am in the market for:
1. Bluetooth Keyboard
2. Bluetooth Mouse (preferrably rechargeable)
3. External LCD Monitor, DVI (20-24 inch, preferrably 24)
I am looking to spend around or under $600, if possible.
I have a MacBook Pro, 15", 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It is my primary computer. I run both OS X and Vista (via Bootcamp). I have been running Vista much more lately for business purposes.
Basically, I am looking for a setup for when I am sitting at my desk (as opposed to on the couch, for example, where I use my Rain Design iLap).
I am not opposed to having a wired keyboard or mouse either, but I thought bluetooth would save me the hassle of having to plug those in every time I sat down to my desk, in addition to the monitor and power plug.

AME-AP Approval Setup

Hi Gurus,
I have done AP-Invoice approval setups in AME .
Transaction type is 'Payables Invoice Approval' .
When i am doing Real Transaction test it is displaying a message like 'This transaction's requestor lacks a person ID, so AME cannot locate the requestor's supervisor to begin the chain of authority'.
Please help me in solving this problem.

Select * from wf_users where name = 'your FND user Name'
make sure this record has ORIG_SYSTEM as 'PER' and ORIG_SYSTEM_ID has the value from PER_PEOPLE_F.PERSON_ID
If not, Go to FND User maintenance window, remove the employee assignment for the FND User in question , save the record and re enter employee info. If yo are on 11.5.10 instance,after this step the system will re refresh the WF_USERS list.
