Approve Requisitions Fiori application issue

Hi,
We have configured a standard "Approve Requisitions" application on the Fiori launchapad.
The application workflow is working fine from Portal end for first two scenarios, but the workflow status doesn't get changed in R/3 for Scenario3 and 4 as explained below.
Scenario1- User clicks on "Approve", the status gets updated at backend properly.
Scenario2- User clicks on "Reject", the status gets updated at backend properly.
Scenario3- User clicks on "Claim", the status at backend doesn't get changed to "Reserved"
Scenario4- User clicks on "Release", the status at backend doesn't get changed to "Released"
Could you please check on this and advise. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Yuvraj

Hi Yuvraj,
Check the status of work item in transaction SBWP and compare with the below screen, which gives the information in which state Reserve and Claim will work:

  • Error in Approve Requisitions Fiori App

    Hi All,
I am configuring the fiori app "Approve Requisitions", and when clicking the tile in the launchpad, I am getting the error: "Could not start the app due to a configuration problem".
The strange thing is that I have configured the app "Approve Travel Request" without problems, and it's working great. I can approve and reject the travels.
I think that the error I am getting with the "Approve Requisitions" app, is due to the workflow is a custom one, and the approval task is different from the one that the standard workflow for approve requisitions have.
Does anyone have any idea which is the reason of the error?
    Thanks in advance,
    Emanuel

Finally, the error was due to a lack of configuration.
I was missing the activation of some services in transaction SICF.

  • Fiori Approve Requisitions error - unable to start app

    Hello Experts,
We have implemented the UIX01EAP (SAPK-10002INUIX01EAP) Fiori component. I have followed the link Approve Requisitions.
I have activated the OData Service GBAPP_PRAPPROVAL, activated the UI5 application MM_PR_APV, assigned the Business Role SAP_MM_BCR_Buyer_X1, Technical Role SAP_MM_TCR_T_X1 in the Front-end Server and the authorization role SAP_MM_PR_APV_APP in the Back-end server to the relevant User ID.
I have also followed the Configuration Tasks given in the above link including maintaining the Workflow Task under Customizing for Materials Management under Purchasing Purchase Requisition Approve Requisitions App Specify Workflow Task IDs for Approve Requisitions App.
After this when I login to the launchpad URL using the approver user, I am able to see the Buyer (MM) group on the home page and also the Approve Requisitions tile with the correct number of pending workitems.
But when I click on the Approve Requisitions tile to open the app, I get an error popup saying Failure - Unable to start App and get the below error in Chrome console.
Can this be due to some missing role/authorization? Or can this be an issue with the Approve Requisitions app itself?
    Regards,
    Saurabh

    Thanks for your response Masa.
I am getting the below response when I run the service /sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/ResolveLink service:

  • Approve Travel Expenses FIORI Application

    Hi,
I have a problem in Approve Travel Expenses FIORI Application. The application was configured and implemented as shown in the SAP documentation platform :
    http://help.sap.com/fiori_bs2013/helpdata/en/be/2c66528841745fe10000000a441470/content.htm
My problem is the application doesn't import any travel expenses that was created in PR05 TCODE. I can approve any expenses in SAP. The Odata message service returned OK code in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE. The Employee Master Record Creation was assigned to my s-user. I Have all roles and Manager Statut.
Should I maintain both tables :
    SRA008_T_CONFIG
    SRA008_T_TASKTYP
    if i won't want  to use a specific work-flow ?
    Should i use a work-flow ?
Are there any SAP customization to do with my s-user ?
Any SAP Tcode to create / Approve travel expenses ?
    All packages are updated.
    I thank you in advance.

    Hi Majbar,
Your issue is in HR workflow configuration. If workitem is in inbox, Fiori app can read it.
For SAP Business Workflow troubleshooting, you should look at event trace and workflow log.

  • SAP Fiori Approve requisition

    Hi All
I have recently cofgured SAP Fiori approve requisition (Purchase requisition) using custom workflow. Attached is the error I get when rejecting or approving a purchase requisition.
Please note that the error only Occurs in QA and works fine in Dev

Please check troubleshooting steps @ SAP Fiori - Configuration
    http://scn.sap.com/community/mobile/blog/2013/11/13/sap-fiori-ll11--consultants-should-know-about-odata-troubleshooting
Pls put break point in backend ECC and check where the errors are coming from. You can also see /iwfnd/error_log txn in SAP GW to inspect the errors in GW side. On backend you can check in ST22 or put breakpoint and troubleshoot.
First check general troubleshooting using oData in link above and see where the error is coming from.

Is it possible to work with fiori applications in ECC 6. EHP 06 ? I can see two different pre requisites in two documents. Which one of them are correct ? its an embedded deployment.
the left hand document is from(points EHP 07 ) : Installation - SAP Fiori for SAP Business Suite - SAP Library
and the right hand is pointing EHP 06 : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_fiori/fiori10_install_en.pdf
Any one implemented transnational applications, put your inputs ?

    Hi Vijay,
It depends on which apps you need. There are 300+ apps and each app has required backed level.
wave1,2,3,4 are just SAP internal release name and you do not need to know it.
Step1. Select required apps from 300+ standard apps. Apps Catalog.
Step2. Check each app and get backend EhP level and UI component name.
For example, Approve Purchase Orders, It says ERP 6.0 without EhP SP15
For example, Report Quality Issue: It says ERP 6.0 EhP7 SPS05

  • Problem in Approving Requisition Request in MSS UWL

    Hi,
I'm facing problem in approving requisition request sent through Manager in MSS UWL.
We have configured standard process HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION with ISR scenario is SRQ3. Workflow is WS45600028
Case: When I successfully Check & Send Requisition Request form from MSS Recruitment, it is coming in Manager UWL.
But, when i open the workitem for approval it is not coming as a PDF form with Approve Button in the bottom (Standard). Instead, it opening as per the below screen.
Please help to resolve this issue.
    Regards

You should be giving the process reference number or workitem ID in transaction hrasr_test_process.
Which release you are on , what is the SP level of component EA-HRGXX?
Further as per note 972322 - HR Administrator: Migration WD4A - the start process application has been migrated to WDA.
Check the UWL XML configuration to see if the config is as below for the approval task...
APPLICATION     ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE(For EhP4, otherwise application depends on the level of EA-HRGXX )
          DYNPARAM     WI_ID=${item.externalId}
          NAMESPACE     sap
          SYSTEM_ALIAS     <use your system alias>
A sample XML is available with note - 1371626 - UWL Configuration for HR Administrator BP version 1.51.
This appears to me to be a XML configuration issue. Collaborate with your portal and UWL config consultant.
    Hope this helps.

  • Creating user defined pay items in a complex PO which will be created from an Approved requisition

    Hi,
We want to create user defined pay items in a complex PO which will be created from an Approved Requisition.
User will select the approved Req. through WebADI and update the pay Items which will be uploaded and a complex PO will be created with user defined Pay Items.
    Approach 1:
The API po_interface_s.create_documents is running good but there is one issue with this API as below.
When we add user defined pay items to the po_lines_locations interface table against a line they are also getting added to the complex PO correctly.
But the issue is coming when the API is creating default shipment lines and distribution which we dont want.
Is there any way to stop creating the default pay items and distributions?
We only want the shipments we have entered in the po_lines_locations interface.
We can delete the lines from the PO_line_locations and po_distributions base tables for the default lines but that will be the last option to do delete on base tables.
    Approach 2:
We can also do the same with the open PO import interface but it is not linking the complex PO to the approved requisition from which it is created.
Oracle mentioned that this is a future enhancement and this functionality is not available in standard PO import prog.
We are trying for Approach 1 so any suggestions/solutions are appreciated to achieve the requirement.
    Regards,
    Sanket

UDT cannot be created in sbo-common. You may create new db and work with table in this db (but it will be not UDT, but standard sql table), or create new company db only for this purposes and create UDT there.

  • Fiori Applications ERP 6.0 EHP 5.0 Compatibility

    Hellllllllo SAP Mobile World !!!!
I am attempting to implement Fiori Applications from scratch.  I have gone through all Installation Guides.
We are currently running SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 5.0 via NW 7.02 SP09.
I have a little confusion about the Fiori App to ERP version compatibility.
I have three examples illustrating my confusion and could use a answer to each point if possible.
    Point 01)
We wish to use implement “App Implementation: Approve Purchase Orders”.
Looking at “SAP Fiori principal apps for SAP ERP 1.0” from http://help.sap.com/saphelp_fiorierpx1_100/helpdata/en/57/7f3c52c638b610e10000000a44176d/content.htm?frameset=/en/94/813c52c638b610e10000000a44176d/frameset.htm&current_toc=/en/c1/567952d690214fe10000000a445394/plain.htm&node_id=74.
“SAP Fiori Apps for SAP ERP”--> “Approve Purchase Orders”
The “Back-End Components Delivered with (Product VersionStack)” under “System Landscape Requirements” lists our implementation “SAP enhancement package 5 of SAP ERP 6.0 SPS03 or higher”.  I assume this means that “App Implementation: Approve Purchase Orders” is compatible with our version.
Once I go into “App Implementation: Approve Purchase Orders”  I see “SAP enhancement package 5 of SAP ERP 6.0 SPS03 or higher” for “Back-End Components Delivered with (Product Version Stack)”
This leads me to believe that “App Implementation: Approve Purchase Orders” is supported by my installation.
Am I correct and if not why?
    Point 02)
We wish to use implement “App Implementation: Change Sales Orders”.
Looking at “SAP Fiori principal apps for SAP ERP 1.0” from http://help.sap.com/saphelp_fiorierpx1_100/helpdata/en/bf/67565214c31357e10000000a445394/content.htm?frameset=/en/7d/145652f9c21457e10000000a445394/frameset.htm&current_toc=/en/c1/567952d690214fe10000000a445394/plain.htm&node_id=85&show_children=false.
“SAP Fiori Apps for SAP ERP” --> “Change Sales Orders”
The “Back-End Components Delivered with (Product Version Stack)” under “System Landscape Requirements” lists our implementation “SAP
enhancement package 5 of SAP ERP 6.0 SPS03 or higher”.  I assume this means that “App Implementation: Change Sales Orders” is compatible with our version.
Once I go into “App Implementation: Change Sales Orders” I see “1942983” for “Back-End/Front-End Server”
It describes notes for “EHP7 FOR SAP ERP6.0”.  This leads me to believe that “App Implementation: Change Sales Orders” is supported by my installation, but if we happened to upgrade to EHP 7 then this note will need to be implemented.
Am I correct and if not why?
    Point 03)
    We wish to
    use implement “App Implementation: Equipment”.
Looking at “SAP Fiori Apps” from http://help.sap.com/fiori_bs2013/helpdata/en/73/c9e452a413b267e10000000a441470/content.htm?frameset=/en/9a/385452928bd030e10000000a44538d/frameset.htm&current_toc=/en/ba/954353a531e647e10000000a441470/plain.htm&node_id=338.
“SAP Fiori Apps” --> “SAP Fiori Apps for SAP ERP” --> “Apps for Logistics” --> “Plant Maintenance (PM)” -->“Equipment”
The “Back-End Components Delivered with (Product Version Stack)” under “System Landscape Requirements” lists our implementation “SAP
enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SPS 05”. I assume this means that “App Implementation: Equipment” is NOT compatible with our version.
Am I correct?  Are there any SAP Notes that can be implemented to circumvent such limitations if they exist?
    Tags edited by: Michael Appleby

Thanks for the helpful answers.  You all have sent me on the correct path for further investigation.  As a result I have a few more questions.  I apologize for what might seem "stupid questions".
    01) Is it true that the Front-End Server must run on either SAP NetWeaver 7.00. 7.01, 7.02, or 7.31?
    02) Is the Front-End installation of NW a full installation and not one for say a NW Application Server that doesn't have a underlying database?
    03) Development of custom applications take place on the Front-End Server?  If so I guess question 02 is unnecessary.
    04) I trying confirm my understanding of the prerequisites for “App Implementation: Track Purchase Order” @ http://help.sap.com/fiori_bs2013/helpdata/en/01/b13a522fecb610e10000000a44176d/content.htm?frameset=/en/ba/954353a531e647e10000000a441470/frameset.htm&current_toc=/en/ba/954353a531e647e10000000a441470/plain.htm&node_id=163
The “Back-End Components Delivered with (Product Version Stack)” lists “SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 5.0” so I am assuming this app is compatible with our Fiori landscape once the Front-End running on NW 7.31 is installed.  We are currently running SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 5.0 based on NW 7.02 SP09.  Is my assumption correct?
    05) I trying confirm my understanding of the prerequisites for “App Implementation: Approve Service Entry Sheets” @ http://help.sap.com/fiori_bs2013/helpdata/en/64/1a96523ef7224fe10000000a445394/content.htm?frameset=/en/0a/5991527b149f11e10000000a441470/frameset.htm&current_toc=/en/ba/954353a531e647e10000000a441470/plain.htm&node_id=183
”Back-End Components Delivered with (Product Version Stack)” lists “SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SPS 05”.  Does this truly mean that the backend system must have EHP 7 for ERP 6.0?
Thanks so much for the help!

  • Automatic PO creation from Imported Approved Requisition

    Hi,
Is there any setup to allow automatic PO creation from Imported Approved Requisition.
    1. Run Requisition Import to import approved Requisition with no workflow fired.

    Any suggestion will be helpful.
