Approved PO not showing in LOV in Receipts form

I approved a PO by updating po_headers_all in the database, after the notification for approval was not showing up in the approver's mailbox for some reason. But I cannot find this PO in the LOV while trying to receive against it. I made a change in the PO, triggered reapproval, and got it approved by the normal process, yet it didn't show up. I made another PO, by copying from the first one , got it approved, but still it doesn't show up in the Receipts form. Can anyone assist?

Hi,
You are not supposed to update the table PO_HEADERS_ALL directly for approval and there will not be any effect if you update from Backend.
Whenever you submit a purchase order or requisition for approval, purchasing uses Oracle Workflow technology in the background to handle the approval process.
The PO Approval workflow is initiated when you choose Submit for Approval (and then choose OK) in the Approve Document window.
You cannot receive a PO without Proper workflow approval.

    I would appreciate if anyone can reply me for fixing the problem.
    Problem: The approver does not show in the approval preview after the shopping cart is saved, however before saving the shopping cart it shows the approver in the approval preview. We are using two workflows: WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
    Details of the problem:
    The following steps specify the problem in detail , it is applicable for both the workflows “WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.”
    1.     Shopping created
    2.     The approval preview shows the approver ( please see #1 in the attached document) before saving the shopping cart.
    3.     Shopping cart is saved.
    4.     After saving , Check status transaction shows the shopping cart in status “awaiting approval”
    5.     The section approval shows “ No workflow started , application error occurred”
    6.     T.Code SWI1 shows the workitem created for the shopping cart but in error.
    7.     The work item container does not show any agents
    I would appreciate it anyone can reply as to how to fix it ASAP.

    I have synchronised through SWU_OBUF several times since yesterday , but still at the same place.
    In the workflow customising - The only red entry which I have is for check entries from HR control tables under Mainiatin definition env. and Mainiatin guded procedure for gateway under guided procedure (new in SRM 5.0) .The verification workflow works fine . Also I think these entries will not impact the workflow functionalhese were red even in my earlier system .
    SLG1 shows all green entries and there are no entries in RZ20.
    I have specified task TS10008126 as general task as I want anyone who is identified by SLAapprover should be able to process the workitem and as per documentation I can specify this task as standard task.
    What should I do.. , anything am I missing .

    I have added Custom Listform WebPart on "DispForm.aspx" of custom list. I need to display, out of box fields "Author" [Created By] and "Created" [Creation Date] on this custom list form webpart, I have added them on the webpart, following is the code behind of aspx page:

    Hi,
    I think that when you insert a custom list form web part you select “Item” content type, so custom list form is designed to display only the fields that are appropriate for that content type “Item”, but the item content type doesn’t contain the created and created by column, when you add the two columns, it will not find the field value. By default, the two columns will display at the foot of the list form using SharePoint:CreatedModifiedInfo.

  • Rejected/Approved request not showing up for role owner

    Hi Experts,
    For some user ,approved/rejected/pending access request are not showing up in NWBC->My Home->Access Request Status.
    Its working fine for others.Although that user has approved and rejected the requests.But count still shows zero.
    I have validated that its not an authorization issue.Any suggestion on this is appreciated..

    Although A has not created the access request but its another user (let say B). But how could role owner see what are the access request he has approved and rejected.Is there any functionality???

  • AR: Apply a debit memo to a credit memo - debit memo not showing on LOV

    Hello,
    We are trying to apply a credit memo to a debit memo, but the debit memo does not show on the list of values on the Application form. We are doing as follows:
    1. Entered credit memo and completed
    2. Entered debit memo and completed (same customer that credit memo)
    NOTE: Both transaction types are defined as "Not Post to GL" and "Not Open Receivable"
    3. Query credit memo on transactions
    4. On the credit memo, go to Actions - Applications
    5. Hit the list of values on Apply To field
    6. Our debit memo does not show on that lov. (but another debit memo - defined as Post to GL and Open Receivable as Yes and an invoice are showing)
    So, the basic questions are:
    - The debit memo transaction type defined as Post to GL and Open Receivable set to No is causing this situation?
    - Is this standard functionality or are we missing some steps?
    By the way, we are on 11.5.10.2

    Thanks again. Allow me to illustrate the work-around I have in mind with an example:
    Invoice1 $100 - Invoice payable to supplier by OU1
    Debit Memo1 ( $20) - Debit memo (or credit memo) deductible from supplier payments in OU2
    Net Payable to supplier $80
    Step 1
    Make a payment of $20 invoice1 from a dummy bank account in OU1:
    Dr Supplier liability $20
    Cr Dummy Bank Account $20
    Step 2
    Make a payment of remaining $80 to supplier.
    Step 3
    Cancel debit memo1 in OU2:
    Dr Expense Account $20
    Cr Supplier Liability $20
    Step 4
    Transfer of dummy payment to OU2
    Dr Dummy Bank Account $20
    Cr Expense Account $20
    The debit memo is therefore fully accounted for, but this has required 3 additional steps.

  • Theme 23 does not display popup LOV in tabular form

    I created new application using new Theme 23. In tabular form the popup LOV button does not show. While using this theme the column LOV button is soooooo small it is not visible. If I move the cursor on the side of the field eventually I cursor handle will change and I can click and popup LOV will show. When I switch to an older theme (e.g. 21) the LOV button shows just fine.
    Does anyone can offer a solution? Can I expect more this type of problems in the new theme 23?

    I examined exported application file. Indeed the problem is p_column_id parameter. It should be decimal number for translated application. Characters %2C in p_column_id value stands for comma. It should be dot instead. Parameter value should be p_column_id=30289208519476123679.915121.

  • Hierarchical tree not showing up while running the form

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a problem while running forms in 10g AS.
    The hierarchical tree control is showing up when I run the form in my local development (win xp) system. But, when I run the same form through my 10g Application server(linux), the hierarchical tree control is not showing up.
    Can anyone suggest some solutions ?

    The form shows a blank square-box, instead hiearchical tree. I can see other controls like text-box, LOV, command button on the same form.

  • Parameters that do not show up on default parameter form

    Reports upgraded to 6/6i from SQL*ReportWriter/Oracle Reports 2.5 contain parameters that both do and do not show up on the default parameter form.
    Is there any property that can be set in the Object Navigator to disable or enable a parameter on the default parameter form. I know I can create a parameter form and specify which parameters are on it, but user created parameter forms look a bit different from the default parameter form in character mode.

  • Approved applications not showing up in simple finder (parental controls)

    I set up a limited access account for my son and turned on the simple finder option. I went through and selected the programs that I want him to have access to. However, not all the selected applications show up in the simple finder of the limited account. A few programs that were downloaded (a simple paint like program and a word processing program) don't show up, and I can't figure out how to get my son access to these short of turning off the simple finder. Any suggestions?

    I'm not sure what the answer to this would be, because I don't use the Simple Finder mode much. However, you may have to specify in the Parental Controls preferences exactly which applications you want on his account. For example, instead of taking off some applications, add on the paint application and such. Post back here if you need more details or if that doesn't work. Another thing you could always do is to copy an application over your account into his, although I'm not entirely sure how you could do that. Hope this helps.

We create a responsibility for our payroll user and assign modified menu and Glb Shrms Process and Reports request group to it. We set the profile options (HR:Business Group, HR:Security Profile and HR:User Type) on this responsibility. when we are going to run payroll from this responsibility then on Payroll Run request the LOV of Payroll parameter doesn't show values. Kindly, if any one can have idea related this then please update. Its very urgent..

    i don't recall the details, but you have to add a hidden forms function to your menu, so that the concurrent inherits the settings of the caller, so that the LOV's of your concurrent behave.
    Look into the seeded responsibilities, and look for a hidden forms function like multiform or so.
    If it is this, then the issue has nothing to do with 12.0.6 , but is linked to the fact you build your custom menu from scratch.

    I have a custom list form created in SPD based on EditItem form.  I then set field validation in Validation setting and entered a user message to display when the validation did not pass.
    The validation works in the custom form but the user message never show up.

    I am using EBS 11i
    I am looking to setup a promotional upgrade modifier(itemA with itemB).I have setup the item relationship in Inventory as Promotional upgrade.Still the related item is not appearing in the Promotional upgrades upgrade item field in modifier form. Type of modifier am using is Promotion.
    am i missing any further setups?. Kindly help

  • International characters not showing properly in Adobe PDF form?

    I'm trying to help out a customer with an issue they have with a form.
    They had a form created, but it doesn't show danish characters properly.
    It's created in Adobe Acrobat Pro on a Mac.
    As soon as I enter a danish character it shows some sort of gibberish, all other characters show correctly.
    This happens both if the form is opened on a windows and on a mac.
    I found an article with google talking about a font that needed to be installed, but being very inexperienced with mac, I'm a bit at a loss if it's in Acrobat or on the mac the font is to be added, and how to do that.
    Anybody that can enlighten my darkened mind ? :-)

    I've seen the same thing on Photoshop and Fireworks CS3, and even just the other day on iMovie '09, but I was still on Leopard – so are you sure it's Snow Leopard-related?
    In my case, CS3 apps would show squares, and iMovie wouldn't even move the cursor (it wouldn't even let me enter curly quotes). With iMovie it was easily fixed by typing in TextEdit, then copying and pasting to iMovie. No success in CS3 apps, which categorically refused to enter any glyphs that weren't more or less standard Latin.

    I'm building an application based on an Oracle guide for 'Adventure Travel', the guide says to create this procedure:

Also, when I look at the procedure in the object browser, under 'errors' it says "Line: 6     Position: 3     PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "end-of-file" when expecting one of the following: ; current delete exists prior "
    Although I am assured that the code has the correct syntax, I've also tried adding the / character after END; but to no avail. Any help would be most appreciated

    How do I check dba_objects and user_objects? Sorry I'm pretty new to this. I created the AT_ACTIVITIES table, and I am the one using the application in my own schema. I tried using
    GRANT EXECUTE ON add_country_for_activity to apex_public_user;
    but I'm still having the same problem
