"Approver Not Found"

Hi all,
In purchasing, though i am able to get the approval done for Standard Purchase Order and Requisition through the respective hierarchy, I am unable to do so the same for Blanket and Planned Purchase Order.
Further, The Hierarchy as define in HRMS is okay,the inventory is okay, the supplier data is okay.
What can be the problem?

as dgood said make sure you have proper approval group and approval group assignment?
what is the View Action History says? Does it get forward to next person? or stuck?

CUP Issue in workflow - Approver not found after SP13

Dear All,
We are facing an issue after upgrade to SP13 in CUP. The request is not getting saved and throwing an error - Approver not Found.
We uploaded the xml files also of SP13 after upgrade has completed.
We have not changed the workflow after upgrade and verified all the attributes of Initiator, CAD and approver is already available in CAD - but still we are receiving the error "Approver Not Found"
The same workflow is working succesfully in Production system which is under SP9.
Is this an issue with SP13. If any body has encountered please let us know how to resolve.

GRC CUP Error creating request. Approver not found

We just upgrade from GRC CUP 14 to GRC CUP 15.6 support pack.I already performed post upgrade steps and when i try to create a request i am getting approver not found.i didnot change workflow.In stage for role approver we have approver determinator "role".

It looked like some old request stuck in DB.But, not sure about it.I tried by changing the number ranges in configuration by giving the current request number in "from number",but it didn't work.
This is strange some time it gives "error creating request: path not found." and once this error gone then "error creating request : approver not found".
To avoid this i created one more stage by custom approver determinator with application attribute and approver assiged.This stage, i assigned before role approver stage then it worked,Request get created and request get provisioned.
i don't understand why it's not working,if i assigned role approver stage first in a path of workflow.role approver (approver determinator:"role" standard one, "approver" gets from configuration:roles:create role:role approver OR upload from role import).

5.3 CUP Approver not found error

Hi Experts
Having an issue on CUP. I have created a CAD for my first stage and second stage.
1st Stage (Business Process Owner) HR and linked to approver
2nd Stage (Role type) = Single and linked to approver.
The request is created but when I approve the request at the 1st stage it throws out the the Approver not found error. The role attributes have also been configured accordingly.
Any ideas Experts your help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the assistance, I've checked on the UME the approver does exist with the necessary authorizations. Maybe it issomething in the config please tell what you did maybe I missed something small in the config. I checked and the CAD in both stages are linked to approvers and they both exist in the ume. And the role itself has been linked with the attributes such as the business process and the role type being single.

AE 5.2 - Detour Workflows - One of the Role Approver not found

Hi All,
My question is regarding using the Detour workflow functionality for the situation below - pls let me know if this possible or if any alternates are available.
- Main path has 2 stages (1) manager approver, (2) Role Approver.
If the Requestor asks for a Role that Does not have a Role Approver we would like to route this request to the Security lead.
- I have created a Detour Path with 1 stages - Secuity lead and associated with Stage 2 (Role approver) of the Main path based on the condition "No Role Owners"
- I still get the error "Approver not found at Stage @@@@"
Is the condition "No Role Owner" in the Detour workflow config for "Role Expert" workflows or for Access requests?
Is it possible to route the Request to Security if the Role being requested does not have a Role Approver? IF yes How?

Hi,
sometimes in the Detour configuration you have the problem that the "Save" action is not saved properly.
If this entry is empty, please go into edit mode and save the detour config again, so that the action will actually display "Save".

SPM in CUP in a SAP GRC AC 5.3 -- "Approver not found" & "Path not found"

I have a problem when I try to do a request.
I have configured the SPM in the CUP in a SAP GRC AC 5.3
I gives me an error about "Error creating request. Approver not found ". When I took out the Manager in the Stage it gave me this error in the request "Error creating request. Path not found".

You can either type in the configuration, like the what option you selected for approver (CAD or role or...etc), or other way is to capture the change log which shows what was the configuration for that stage....
(Configuration -< Change Log -> Search Change log)

RAR Error- Approver not found

Have you configured the workflow in CUP to handle the 'Risk Maintenance' in RAR? If not so, please configure the workflow or check for the Custom approver derminator (CAD) in the workflow in CUP, if it is already configured.
Alternatively, if you do not want the workflow to be triggered for changes you make in the Risk, then disable the work flow function, @ RAR - CONFIGURATION TAB-WORKFLOW-RISK MAINTENANCE-CHOOSE OPTION NO.

I have confirmed and configured the custom approver determinator for this i have allso configured the approver under roles
in the attributes section
at business process level.
This is the error below!

Hi Rodger,
I quite sure that when you set up the custom approver based on role it then does not refer to the approvers linked to the role - although I think you should test the following.
Maintain the custom approver you have set-up, click on approvers > add > insert the role name > click on the arrow > then click on the + icon and search for an approver > add > save. Then create a request to see if the approver can be found.
I think that if you want to make use of the approvers that you have loaded in the role attributes then you would use Role as your approver determinator in your stage and not the custom approver determinator that you created.

CUP 5.3 - Approver Not Found for STD Determinator

All,
I am using the standard approver determinator for super user access - Super Access Owner.
I have got an SPM Owner defined in the source system table for owners but CUP is returning an error message saying that the Approver is not found.
The other Custom Approver Determinators seem to work but the standard one referencing SPM owners does not. Am I looking in the right place?
Can any of you suggest how this can be corrected?
Please advise me if you have any recommendations.

Assignment from Xelsysadm to Custom Group if approver not found!!

Hi Experts,
Currently if the assigned approver is not found ( Target type = Request Target User's Manager option) because say the manager is not set for the user, OIM by default assigns it to xelsysadm
I would want to change this to a Group (support Group) instead.
Is it possible in OIM with min customization?

Approver Not Found IN CUP While Executing a Request.

Hi Experts,
I have created a new request type for new role creation in CUP(AC 5.3 SP7),created a initiator for that and included the new request type in that.I have also created a new stage and selected a custom approver determinator with attribute type business process(approvers set).
Finally, i have created a path with two stages,first-manager and second of process owner.I can see clealry the approver determinator are selected in both the stages of path.
After performing the above configuration in workflow,i am creating a request for the same and getting the error that no approver found at process owner stage.
Please provide me any tip to resolve the issue.

You are absolutely right,when i changed approvers on the base of request type in CAD,it went right to the next stage.But, when i am trying to set approvers on the base of business process i am not reaching into next stage, reason is while creating request I am not choosing the business type.
Now, i am not geting any business process in the drop down list(while creating request initially),also, i am not able find any option in CUP from where i can specify the business process.
Please guide me.

Once I create a request and sent it to approve, I am getting the message stating Approver doesn't exist.

Error creating request. Path not found

Hi,
We are trying to create a request in CUP. We have given input in all the mandatory fields like Requester Name, Manager Name, Application and we have selected Roles. Those roles were already assigned to approvers.
When we press the APPROVE button, it is asking to Approve. After clicking APPROVER button, it is giving error like u201CError creating request. Path not foundu201D.
Please check and advice me where we are missing while creating request in CUP.

Thanks for your reply. We have created two conditions under Initiator with AND and AND. We have cleared and we are not getting error like Path not found.
Now we are getting error like "Error creating request. Approver not found".
We have selected the Manger name in the request which we have defined in the Custom Approver Determinater. Still we are getting the error like Approver not found.

MSS: Approve working time Program "       " not found error

I am able to enter working time and release in ESS. CAT2, CAT4 and CAT6 are also working fine. Im using the Approve Time sheet data iView in MSS to approve working time. After Setting up AME for iRecruitment, i get problems as follows:
1: Approvals Management Business Analyst -->Business Analyst Dashboard
i find 'iRecruitment Vacancy Approval' is not found in Approval Process Setup.
2:when i click Approvals Management Administrator respsonbility. it get errors:
