Apps are missing from start menu app and app storage

My apps are completely missing from my menu and storage. I tried searching them but it won't show them to me and I tried downloading some apps like microsoft mail and msn weather. I tried searching for those and they are nowhere to be found. Please help.

The update takes a LONG time... but with the new system, you can keep using your phone during the update, so it doesnt FEEL like it is updating...
you have probably interrupted the update, just like I did
plug your phone in... "continue the update" or hit the sync button to psh it in... and leave it there
unless you have enabled sync over wifi (which still only works when you are plugged in)
just be patient... and there shouldbe a flashing "synching" symbol at the top of your phone screen

They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS.

The Safari and Camera apps are missing from my iPhone.

I had a problem with restoring my purchased apps on my iPhone. With help I was able to get them restored. However, now the original apps are missing - camera and safari. It's possible there are more, but I can't remember all those that were original with the phone.

I would check your other apps folders and see if it was misplaced in there. IF you still can't find it, then go to settings - general - reset - reset home screen layout.

Today I noticed that all my icons are missing from the right hand side of my screen. There is no Wifi, Bluetooth, clock, or Spotlight! How does this happen?!?

Some sample Applescripts are missing from Script menu.

I am a new to AppleScript and I have just started reading A Beginner's Guide to Apple Script (by Guy Hart-Davis). The book makes numerous references to the default example scripts that are created during OS X install. I have added the script menu to to the menu bar and when I open the script menu - I only see about half of the default scripts that are shown in the book. I did some browsing and found other examples of the script menu which shows fewer scripts than the example in the book - but still shows a few more than what I am seeing on my system. On my system I do not see the following scripts (Address Book Scripts, Basics, Finder Scripts, Info Scripts, Internet Services, Navigation Scripts, URL's or Virtual PC Scripts). I am on SL 10.6.2. The book is written for SL 10.6 - but also makes references to Leopard 10.5. Is there something wrong with my system or were some of these default scripts eliminated in 10.6.2. My iMac came with 10.6.1 initially - so I have no prior OS version as a point of reference. My concern is that I progress with the lessons and exercises in the book - that there will be continued references to these missing scripts - as I suspect that the missing scripts may be used as a starting point for creating new scripts. Any idea where I can find the scripts that I listed as missing?

Thanks. The book I am using appears to be a brand new book just released a month ago (or so). It appears the book may have been written for Leopard and tweaked for Snow Leopard (but under the guise of being the other way around) - without actually verifying that the examples for Snow Leopard actually work. The website for the book (McGraw Hill) does not seem to provide a mechanism for providing feedback or errata info. So far these missing scripts have not hampered my progress - except on the initial example. I was more concerned that something was missing from my iMac.

Search missing from start menu after BSOD?

I've been using W10 for a few months now and it's been very stable, however for the first time this morning I've experienced a problem. When I tried waking the computer up from sleep, it BSOD'd and at the bottom said to search for "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE"

After restarting the computer, I ran windows update (windows defender updated), and since then have restarted a few more times, but the search bar is simply missing from the start menu. It's just gone.
Any suggestions?

May I know the preview build version you're using now? I wonder whether you're performing a normal Windows Updates or a system upgrade at that time. If it is normal Windows Updates then check if it has created a restore point before installing the updates,
if it has, then you could restore the system to a previous state with system restore and check if it could help you.

Can't get rid of an app's icon from the menu bar (the app is already deleted)

i deleted an app the old fashion way (1st drag it to the trash and 2nd empty trash). That App was Logmein. The problem is that now i have logmein's icon at my desktop's menu bar and can't get rid of it. Please help

You didn't delete all the application, of course. (There was an uninstaller, but I guess it's gone now.) You could try a search with command F for all Logmein stuff, make sure to include system files in your search. Maybe have a look in /Library/Application Support .

Strange sharepoint icons missing from start menu

I dont know what kind of permissions have been disturbed in the server and I can not see the sharepoint icons as usual in the start. The logs are also not being updated in the default C:\programfiles\--\logs\ location.
However when domain admin logs in to the system he can see the icons as usual.
which policy or permissions is missing??

After long struggle got an idea to fix your problem, the below solution may help you to fix this.
To fix the missing icon or non-displayed icons in the start menu, need to rebuild the icon cache.The icon cache file is a hidden file that is named as IconCache.db. This file you can find in C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local or %UserProfile%\AppData\Local.
To rebuild the icon canche, you will need to either delete or rename the existing file so that Windows will build a new one after failing to locate it at its normal location.

Both "Save As..." and Duplicate are missing from file menu

Just upgraded and am running OS X 10.8.2 and Keynote 5.3... The file menu has only Close, Save, Revert to Saved, Export in that section. Pressing the option key doesn't change duplicate to Save As... since Duplicate is missing as well. When I press shift-command-S i get an error sound and option-shift-command-S does nothing... Every other mac app is working fine. Obviously, I need some help.

Thanks for the response. I got a fix for it. Went to another account on the mac and keynote had the proper file menu options listed. Under library/Preferences I trashed all the iWork related plist and the Cache file--Rebooted and all was back in order. Wish I could say I figured this out all by myself, but Apple support walked me through it. FYI if you run across anyone else with this type of issue.

How come some of the apps are missing from the Adobe Application Manager.

When I downloaded the AAM for cloud it only gave 14 apps instead of the 26 apps to install. What do I need to do to see all of the apps? I have windows 7.

Branched this out to a new discussion. If you have programs missing it is likely that your computer does not meet the system requirements for that particular application. For example if you are running a 32-bit operating system you will not be given the option to install After Effects or Premiere Pro since they require a 64-bit OS.

Under Settings Cellular "use cellular data for" apps are missing from Iphone 4

After updating to IOS 7, my wife's iPhone 4 under the "use cellular data for" only has Passbook and System Services. My son's iphone 4 and my iPhone 4s DO HAVE this option avl. and show all our Apps.
Any ideas out there?

Bookmarks are missing from both my list and bookmark tab and I don't know if this was caused by plugin or due to lack of space in my internal HD. Please help?

Dear Community, I promise I'll try to be as concise as possible. I'm really desperate for help! I've read absolutely everything about missing bookmarks, but as you will see my problem is also about cursors and Google showing differently on screen.
It all started this day I was running short on storage space in my internat HD. Suddenly my computer showed that I had 0 KB available, and I just deleted some big mov files and restarted the computer. After the reboot, I opened FF and noticed that my bookmarks were missing and so was my reading list - my reading list is stored with the help of ReadItLater plugin (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/read-it-later/). I tried to google solutions for my problem and realized that something was weird with the way results were displayed.
So, I made some screenshots because it's really hard to explain what's going on by writing, so please take a look:

2. Then if I click on any link on the page, and go back to check my ReadItLater list, I can open it without getting an error message but still NO READING LIST is shown. Image: [[click here|http://flic.kr/p/cj2gPm]]
3. Now take a look on how Google is displaying results on FF! The text appears in Black/Green when it's really supposed to be displayed in Blue/Green/Black! The cursor is also messed up: when I try to click one of the links with the arrow, it turns into a type cursor instead of the usual hand or clicking cursor! Any help will be much appreciated. I've already tried to reinstall FF again, and I've also deleted it and reinstalled FF but I never deleted profile/personal info that is in the Library Folder. Also, have tried to back up and replace the profile folder but my computer didn't allow me. I got a message saying it was not possible to copy the places.sqlite-wal file. I have done a search about it and I can say I never had a profile duplicate. Please help? I'm desperate and I can't lose my reading list or my bookmarks!

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Half my music, all my apps/movies/playlist/videos are missing from my i tunes but i looked into my music and it seems to be all in there is there anything i can do?

Half my music, and all my apps/playlist/movies/videos are missing from my itunes. I found it all in my music on my computer but it wont go into itunes. Is there any suggestions on what i can do? I have most of it backed up on a external hard drive all i am affraid to do anything as i don't want to lose all the time and money i have invested. Someone told me to uninstall itunes and reinstall it and see what happens any thought?

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup.
