Hi MJACOB
Have you tried to use Nokia Suite and check if there's any software update available for your phone? If there's none try to re-install the software of your handset.
Hope that will help you my friend

After updating My iPad 2 to iOS 5.1.1 , my newly installed apps are  not working . When I try to open the app the screen just flashes and then nothing happens. Built in apps works fine . Please help

I realize that installing apps is not the problem. Installing another app from the app store is a recommended troubleshooting tip from Apple if all of the third party apps will not open. It resets your iTunes authorization when you install the app because you have to enter your password.
If you didn't install another app try it. Read this support article as well.
iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased for the App Store
Try this as well. Quit all apps, reset the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then see if the apps will launch.

am using iphone 3g and it is having currently IOS 4.1 version, till what IOS version can i upgrade ? please help me many of my apps are not working esp whatsapp.

iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version of iOS for the 3G.
Facebook and Whatsapp both require 4.3 or higher.
If you want to use those apps, either use the old version that should be in your iTunes library or upgrade the hardware to a 3GS or newer device.

i upgraded to the 4.3.5, and half my apps are not working. how do i get back to 4.3.3? all my best and regular apps are not working and i need them! so how do i down grade

There is no legitimate (Apple supported) way to downgrad an iOS on a device.  Have you tried downloading/installing a new (free) app.  That works for many users with that problem.

  • All my GPS Apps are not working anymore after upgrading to OS4

    Hi folks,
all my GPS APPS are not working anymore since I upgraded to OS4.
I am living in Germany and using Iphone 3GS 32GB.
Are there any plans from apple to resolve this issue shortly ß Or shuld we
chance to google or Microsoft produkts....?

I'm getting very interested in GPS problems across the entire iOS device range. Ive got a 3GS and the GPS satellite fix stopped working completely recently. A fix identified using jailbreak and an ssh terminal tells me a good proportion of these problems are with locationd, the gps process in the iPhone, or more accurately, I think that it's possible for some of the data this process uses to become corrupted; the "fix" involves stopping the process and deleting the data it uses. On restart, locations is forced to rebuild the data, and everything then works.
I suspect this is true across the iPhone range - and worse, I think that the backup function in iTunes actually backs up the bad data. Thus, when you restore from backup, you actually put the problem back in! Either that, or GPS cache data isnt deleted when the iphone is restored.
What we need is an option in iTunes, or the iPhone settings, to clear GPS ephemeris and related data down and restart locationd: this will save apple a fortune in support at genius bars, as I reckon everyone who is getting a replacement is just getting a reblanked refurbished iPhone with no hardware fixes - they could be turning them around in the back of the stores!
We need to get some group pressure together to get an answer out of apple on this really - they do seem to have an approach which has much in common with the way the UK banks were dealing with overdraft fees - if you complained, they refunded just to keep you quiet and make sure you didn't shout. If this issue is an underlying gps driver or application demon issue, they should give us a way to work around the issue.

My Ipod touch apps are not working. They attempt to appear but it seems like something is stopping them. They show up for less than a second then dissappear. Also all of my synced music dissappeared as well. I'm not sure if that is something in common?? I've tried resetting my ipod. I never link it to a computer, and that is why I synced my music from a friend. Please help me!

Sorry I mean that I reset my settings. I havent reset the whole i pod. I want to try to keep all of my apps.

    - Try a reset. Nothing is lost:
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Third party apps are not working at all.

It's weird that all my installed apps were not working today. When i taped on an app, there was a suddent sparkling, nothing else happened and backed to the home screen. I could find the app I just open at the background. but every original app comes with the phone was working properly. I also went to a local apple store for solution since I didn't really want to restore the phone and reinstall any apps, but finally I had to to restore my phone. So disappointed that Apple has no other solution to fix this problem but need to restore the phone. When I asked what would cause this problem, they just told me this problem usually happened and suggested me to restore it in order to make it work.

  • My main apps are not working

    Help...
I have got a six-year-old emac and when I switched on to use it today, I found that some of my apps were not opening.
Needless to say, it is the key ones which I use most often which are not working - Mail, Firefox, Safari, iTunes and iPhoto, as well as a few others I use occasionally.
Some apps, such as address book and iCal, are working OK.
I have tried deleting a few things as I was getting close to my memory being full, also unplugging everything and plugging it all back in again.
Anyone with any ideas on what I can do?
I am thinking if the worst comes to the worst, I will transfer all files I need to keep onto an external hard drive and reinstal (tiger).
However, any other tips would be much appreciated. I probably will not be able to answer any technical queries right away as I am using a relative's PC as I obviously don't have web access at home!
    Hopefully someone can help...

Thanks for your reply... that was kind of you...
I was running Tiger so I thought I could probably do a reinstall and be able to keep my documents folder and hopefully my photos too... my music is saved on an external hard drive.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find my Tiger disc! I loaned it to a workmate a year ago, forgot to ask for it back and he has since left the company and as far as I know, the country!
I decided to reinstall from my original disc, version 10.2.4. I actually had to do it twice as on the first occasion it wasn’t taking my password at start-up for some reason.
The upside is I’ve now got a web browser (Internet Explorer!) and mail again. Fortunately my emails transferred over OK.
However, I’m probably going to hve to buy another version of Tiger, or even upgrade to Leopard, as soon as possible. I don’t think I’ll be happy with Apple circa 2003!
In answer to your questions, there were crash logs reported in the crash reporter (sorry can’t remember the details), there was no error message displayed when I tried to open the apps but the icons did bounce a couple of times in the dock before then falling back to rest unopened, without any arrows appearing to let me know it was on its way...
I have only one user account, although in hindsight it might have been a good idea to set one up and try it...

  • My ipad updated to IOS 7 today and now some of my apps are not working properly

I updated my ipad to IOS7 and now some of my apps are not functioning correctly.  Is there anyway to revert back to previous software?

I assume that you are familiar with your iPad's portrait orientation lock feature and you have verified your iPhone is not locked in this manner.
In case you're not familiar, please make sure this icon does not appear on your iPad's status bar:
If your iPad is not in portrait orientation lock, then the app developer should be prodded into updating their app to fix this defect.  Generally speaking, the App Store indicates a way to contact the developer to inform them of such defects.

  • My apps are not working!

Apple, I'm a huge fan of yours. But it hurts me to know that my iPod in which I got for X-mas is not working as I expected. For apple always my expectations are high and most of the time, I'm not disappointed. But this incident was totally surprising. Ok lets get to the point. I was downloading some apps knowing that it was going to go through very sufficiently because it is Apple. But when I started the application, it shows then closes. Basically crashes. I was trying everything from jailbreaking, to the 6 r's or whatever and all that stuff. But nothing. It is very frustrating to know that I have a brand new iPod (FROM APPLE!!)that is not meeting my expectations. I love my iPod, but its not meeting Apple's name/standards. VERY disappointed. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

Apparently this issue has exploded with the latest firmware release. See this thread for a possible resolution: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2181789&tstart=0
