Apps begin automatic download, then stall out

Automatic download of app purchases is consistently stalling out on my wife's iPhone 4. I make a purchase on my iPhone 4, her phone begins the download but never completes
My only workaround has been to delete the incomplete download from her phone and then download it from iCloud purchases in iTunes app.
This happens every time. And has occurred both in iOS 5 and 6.
What can be done?

go to settings>store>click your apple ID and sign out.. Then go to settings>general>reset>reset network settings

ICloud help: universal apps wont automatically download to iphone 4s after downloading them on ipad and vis versa.

Some apps that are universal will automatically download like, temple run, ibooks, bejeweled. But many other apps that are also universal like watchespn and pandora radio , wont automatically download to my ipad when i download them on my iphone and vis versa. Idk what the problem is and the guy i called at apple couldnt figure it out. Is this happening to anyone else and if so have you fixed it? dont say rebooyt or restart because i did that and nothin happened. Thanks

On both devices tap Settings > Store
Toggle Apps off then back on.

How do I stop apps from automatically downloading every time I connect to the internet?

When my iPhone connects to the internet, an average of four apps automatically download on my device. What is causing this issue and how can I stop it?

I've just got a new iPad, got 8 updates available on app store, after like 5 min there were 4 updates. It was when I realised that it was automatically downloading stuff, so i disabled it from iTunes and App Stores settings as you wrote. The problem is that even though I disabled everything, every time I reconnect this iPad to wi-fi it continues to download because from 4 available updates it went down to 2. And somehow it managed to download GarageBand update, that's 600mb off of my monthly 8gb!! Why does it keep downloading from app store?

Keeps hanging up saying there are duplicate files, then stalling out

Compressor will compress my video all the way to half way, then red exclamation marks will appear next to the two files saying that there are duplicate files with the same name... to preserve the original files change the name of the file I'm compressing. So I change the name, and then the progress line stalls out forever like it gets stuck after it tells me to change the name.

Actually, this sounds like normal behavior.
When you click the submit button, Compressor passes the encoding job to QMaster. QMaster then starts writing the necessary files in the destination that you set with the filename that you set.
Compressor sees the new files being written into your destination, and puts up the alert. This is standard behavior. There is no need to change the output filename in Compressor once the job has been submitted.
Compressor doesn't need to be kept open once you submit the job. To monitor the encoding, open Batch Monitor.

No App Store automatic downloads?

It is to my understanding that as part of iCloud, any item purchased (be it free or paid) will download automatically to all of your iCloud enabled devices. With that said, how come when I download an app on iTunes my iPod touch doesn't start the download immediatly also? I have automatic downloads enabled in settings.

Slow music download, then times out

I am now on my third Nano in 3 weeks, due to faults on the others, and I'm having similar problems with this one, when I connect the nano it starts to auto update the songs from my playlist, but after about 10-15 tracks, the ipod and pc just freeze for about 5 mins, then the nano disconnects from the pc. If I try an update it takes a further 5 mins, but then freezes again and disconnects. I am using a usb 2.0, so download speed should and used to be ok, since updating to 1.1.1 everything seems to have gone wrong. Can anybody offer any support and answers to this problem?

Have restored nano, still no difference, this has solved the first problem, but download still slow and times out before finishing playlist, have not tried another cable or pc, as I do not have another cable or pc, but have tried different usb ports, all the same outcome. This pc and cable worked fine prior to the 1.1.1 update, the day I updated eveything went wrong, so I believe it's more likely to be the update, rather than the hardware!

Movie starts to download then cuts out.

Ive disabled firewalls including the windows one and that hasn't done anything. Connection to itunes store is fine, when i go to download a movie the connection times out. anyone know how to solve this? Thank you

Beige g3 begins start up then stalls

Beige G3 with 120gb hard drive, acard aec-6280m, radeon 9200 card maxed out memory USB PCI card G4 zif accelerator. Worked great for 3 or 4 years then I upgraded to a iMacG5 and loaned the Beige to a friend. He had it for a year or so and it quit working. It powers up monitor comes on HD spins then the monitor turns off and it tries again and then the monitor turns off again and the HD still spins but thats the extent of it. I've taken all the cards that I added out put a small 10gb HD in and started it up on the original G3 CD and it works fine. But when I turn it on without the CD it starts up and goes through all the startup motions and looks like it's good to go but the mouse will move the arrow around but it's frozen. One other thing my friend said the sound went out and it doesn't chime when starting up. Any help will be welcomed. I would like to give the computer to a brother-in-law. That is if I can get it to work again.

I removed the 120GB HD and the Acard AEC-6280M controller card and installed a 14 GB HD with OS9 installed. Now when I start up the monitor stays on and the computer freezes after I click on the icon that says the computer was shut down improperly, the mouse will still move the arrow around. It will boot up off the OS CD. Next I decided I had installed OS9 incorrectly so took everything off and installed OS8. Computer seems to run great on OS8 then I installed OS9 and had the same freeze up. Reinstalled OS8 tried to play a CD no sound clicked on the volume and another freeze up. Removed CD burner upgrade and reinstalled original CD player and replaced ATA type cables. Beep actually sounded on startup but sounded kind of sick but CD would not play but did not freeze up. Could be on to something but not sure what. Any help will be appreciated.

Apps stalling out at 90%

Tried to install what used to be Production Premium under CC. Selected all the apps. After Effects begins to install, but stalls out at 90%. I close the Adobe CC desktop app and try launching AE. It opens just fine, but without an icon in my Windows taskbar. Relaunched the desktop app and tried again with Premiere. Came back from running errands, same issue. Stalled at 90% but opens just fine, minus the icon. Destop app also says that updates are available immediately after the install. What's going on? Would be nice to have icons in taskbar and be able to install the suite of apps at once instead of one at a time.

Hey guys. Ive been running into quite a bit of problems with uploade, editing, updating my iTunes Match account. Too much to get into to detail but I will say thins.
"Update iTunes Match." is a decieving menu item. It doesnt do what you think it does. Trust me, I thought the same thing. Many others have too. What that command does is update whatever library your looking at with whats currently in the cloud. Its pushing data to you. Not you to the cloud. If youre adding music to you're library, just add it and let iTunes push it to the cloud. Be a little patient. Its not lighting fast. Like I said, just add it and let it be.
Next if your Match is stalling at the end of an upload. Specifically of a larger lot of music. Turn off iTunes Match. Update Genius then turn Match back on. It may hang again but just run that sequence until its finishes. I cant tell you exactly what Genius has to do with it but it worked for me. I was uploading 11,000 tracks yesterday and it kept hanging at 9000. Someone recomended this sequence to me and it work like a charm. Although I had to run it two or three times, it zipped right through the last 2000 in no time and my entire library was uploaded perfectly.

Ipad won't automatically download iphone apps

I have an iphone and an ipad. Both sync with the same computer (an Imac). I usually use my iphone to download apps while the ipad is powered off. I want tthe iphone apps to automatically download to the ipad when the ipad is connected to my home wifi network (Apple Extreme)
I have many iphone apps in itunes (on the computer) that will not sync or download automatically using the wifi.
The apps are stored on the icloud, but they won't download automatically to the ipad either.
I see the apps in the "Purchased" section of the Itune Store app. They are "Iphone apps not on my ipad". I have to select them one by one which is a pain.
The ipad will not sync the same apps to the ipad when it is synced to my home computer.
Is there a way to download or sync all those iphone apps automatically?

You can turn on automatic downloads 'on' on the iPad in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6). And/or when connected to your computer with the iPad selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, on the right-hand side on the Apps tab under the list of apps there should be a tickbox for automatically syncing new apps - if that is ticked then each time you connect the iPad to your computer it should install any new apps that are on your computer.

PDFs are not downloading completely, they stall-out. I am on OS X 10.8.4.

I have been having issues for weeks getting PDFs to download. I am on OS X 10.8.4 and have the most recent Adobe Reader installed. I unistalled the old version and installed this one today. I access a PDF, click to down load, it starts up and then stalls-out, dies. I don't get my file. Help, please.

If you right-click or control-click on the url to download the file does it happen any quicker? Does the download complete? If not the issue is not Reader, but either your internet connection or where you are downloading the files from.

New ios device - prevent apps from automatically being downloaded

Hi.
I dont want any apps being automatically downloaded on a new iphone. When ever I have previously signedin with my apple id on a new device, all my old app get downloaded. This is a little annoying and slows down the device loads while it downloading 100+ app
Any help would be great.

wow, thanks for the quick reply! I did see that but i thought it just for new app so they get syned with other deviced.
If i dont want old apps being downloaded but dont mind new apps syned is that possible?
