Apps closing while trying to open them after update to iOS 6

My phone apps have been starting to open when I select them but immediately close no errors they just close. Safari did this while looking up websites and several other apps started doing it today. Sometimes after several attempts of opening one of the apps it will stay open and seem to be ok. If you double tap the home button and close the app it then will have an issue opening again for several attempts. I have had no problems with this phone and was so happy to have dumped droid but now after the update this issue is getting annoying. I have shut down and rebooted phone I removed and reloaded one app and it seems better but still acting strange. I am thinking about going back to iOS 5.

Actually DIESEL they do force you to update. my wife has not update hers yet to ios6 and none of the apps work at full tilt anymore because they are all updated for ios 6....Apple is now making you either update(and ruin your iphone 4s) or buy the new iphone 5(which i doubt will have any of the problems people with iphone 4s are having).
Since updating my 4s i have lost signal, data has been very low at best. i can not access any apps or they open up and do not refresh. I use to have 4bars at my work and now i have 1.

There's no good way to do it. But you don't need to. iOS 7 automatically handles whether an application takes up memory or has files open. There's no real advantage to you ever closing an application yourself.
If you are having problems with a particular app, please describe them.

Apple ID keeps timing out while trying to sign in after updating to iOS5

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS5 and now while trying to sign in using my apple ID (on the phone) I keep getting an error message saying "Could Not Sign In : The request timed out."

Same thing is happening here, I can't get past the startup wizard, I had to skip the step - I don't know whether that will screw up my setup or not.

Some apps will not finish their upgrade loading after updating to iOS 8

I updated to iOS 8 yesterday and everything has gone well until I decided to update the apps and 2 of them never finish loading and/or waiting for upgrading. Both of the look like they updated their apps within the last week but I can't seem to get past the loading to about 1/4 of the way. I tried deleting them and starting fresh but they won't even delete (it even asks if I am sure and so on but never delete). I tried getting them reloaded through the iOS iTunes and it shows as if I don't even have them (iCloud download icon show tries to download, gets to almost done but then nothing). I have even tried getting them updated by connecting through iTunes on the Mac but no go still. What else can I try? Or will they eventually delete after a while?

I have tried the same thing but it isn't working on my phone. Please help. The apps that are not loading are not showing under Usage and thus can't delete the app in questions.

IPhone 6 display got zoomed while using the camera (happened after update to iOS 8.1.3)

Hi, after updating to the newest iOS version (iOS 8.3) I have experienced a lot of graphics issues. I experiensed it in the keyboard with some of the "button pop-ups" lingers. Also, when I rotate the phone it kinda shows a negative version of the screen besides the normal one during the rotation animation.
However this is not the big problem.
Cause, while I was about to take a picture, using the standard camera app, I zoomed in stretching two fingers away from each others. Suddenly the whole screen zoomed in, not only the camera. So after that I can only see a limited part of the screen. I have tried to turn the phone off and on and it seems promising during the startup (I can then see the apple logo in normal size), but as soon as it comes to the locked screen it zooms in again.
Because of this IO am now unable to use the cellphone and I consider to downgrade to 1.2.
I appreciate all suggestions.

To disable Zoom double-tap the screen with three fingers.
Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom and turn this OFF.

Constantly SAFARI closing while trying to open any/all PDF files

Seems each time I try to open a PDF file, Safari closes every time, I have updated version of Safari, and believe I have the correct updated version of Adobe Reader.
Does someone have a clue for me as to why its doing that?

Tried to open iPhoto after update to yosemite, won't open/no photos??

Your pictures are probably not lost, but still safe in your iPhoto Library.
But the big problem is, that you will need iPhoto 9.6.1 - that is the only compatible version for Yosemite. If you did not purchase this version before yesterday, you cannot purchase it any longer, because Apple stopped selling iPhoto at the App Store.
Try, if the AppStore will let you update iPhoto from the Updates page of the AppStore, this might be possible, if iPhoto is showing among your Purchases on the Purchased page.
Otherwise, make a backup of your iPhoto Library and then open it in the new Photos.app. Launch Photos while holding down the alt/optionss key and select your iPhoto Library. This will migrate the iPhoto Library to a Photos library and let you browse your photos.

Folders won't let me open them after update

I have a Macbook Pro. I did a software update and now I can't open any of my folders in the finder. I click a folder and nothing. I can't get to any of my files. I tried restarting my computer and that hasn't worked. I just had a new harddrive installed 2 months ago..... the internet still works.

Select one of the folders that you're unable to access and, in the Finder, select "Get Info" from the File menu. Check the permissions for the folder - do you have read and write access?

IMessage/text photos constant loading/flickering while trying to view them since updating to IOS7

Since updating to IOS7 any sent or received photos constantly try and update making it nearly impossible to see the photo.
Has anyone else had this issue or is this just a bug that hasn't been fixed yet?

HT6147 Cannot access the Internet while connected to Wi-Fi after updated to ios 7.06!

I updated my Iphone 5s to ios 7.06 yesterday (2014, Feb 27) and i could not access the internet while connected to Wi-Fi.
According to: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398, my IP address is 192.168.xxx.xxx, not 169.254.xxx.xxx!!! How can I fix this?

Reboot your router. The phone is picking out the router address. Unplug it from power for about 15 seconds then turn it back on. While that is happening, on the phone go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

using safari or a computer, go to apple.com. select store, and in the upper right, try to log into your account. See if they give you a hint at what the issue is, but it sounds like there is some issue with your account - probably easily fixable.

After downloading an app, then later trying to open it again, the iPad screen turns green and nothing happens. How can I fix this?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sifnout and sign back in
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Pb stops at bb logo while trying to open an android app

downloaded an android app from app world and it workd on instalation but trying to reopen it again it just stop at the bb logo with a light scrolling through it while trying to open any android app and with that the app will still not open open pls what do i do

Try the 3 button reset.
Hold the Power Button and both volume buttons down all at the same time for 15 seconds.Wait 1 minute then hold the power button down again until the red light flashes (about 4 seconds). PB should boot up again within 3 minutes.

Excel service and OWA - getting ERROR while trying to open/edit Excel documents

Hi All,
We have configured SharePoint 2013 with Excel Service and OWA (Office Web Apps).
After configuring, we are able to view/edit Word or PowerPoint documents from the browser (as OWA is configured). But we are getting errors while trying to open/edit Excel documents.
We are not able to view/edit the excel workbook from the browser (through OWA).
To open the excel in the browser, decision has to be taken at the farm level on what to be used – Excel Service or OWA Server? Is it possible to do setting at site collection level?

I have the same issue while opening the file , i have checked every thing twice. but unable to fix this thing . can any one help.

Getting error "Error connecting to MDEX" while trying to open micro browser

Hi,
I am using endeca Tools and framework 3.1.0 and MDEX 6.3.0.
While trying to open micro browser from Workbench UI to create page template configurations,I am getting following message in popout:
Error connecting to MDEX. The data service associated with this editor is not correctly configured.
Please guide the if you have any clue.

I have successfully configured RecordSpotlight editor to use a different endeca instance. What I did is modify apps\[your app name]\config\editors_config\services\dataservice.json file with updated endeca search configuration, save the file, and run apps\[your app name]\control\set_editros_config.bat to apply the change.
To verify, you can run apps\[your app name]\control\export_site.bat command to export your site configuration, the updated data service config should show in the site xml file exported.
