Apps continue to Renew Subscription for lost iPad

I had an iPad stolen about two months ago. I had the Popular Science Application on there with an automatic renewal for hte subscription, so every new magazine would automatially download onto my ipad. How do i stop this from happening anymore? I dont want to keep paying for a thief to get new Popular Science Magazines.

Tried to renew lease for lost reference

Hi
Oracle sessions get stuck on parsing all sessions accessing the same object wait
on "library cache pin".
We found one session coming from jdbc client waiting on "SQLNET message from client"
and holding all the rest sessions.
When we kill this session the problem resolves.
Following the port holding session with netstat, lsof and so on back to the jdbc
client side on different machine we only see error message connected to the same
port saying "tried to renew lease for lost reference". Our assumption is that
oracle lost connection with the client while locking a DB object when was doing
parsing and thus locked all sessions that wanted to access same object.
Did anybody encounter the same problem? How was resolved?

This message is printed when one WebLogic kernel tries to renew a lease for
an remote object from another WebLogic which has already been collected. It
makes sense that this might happen in the failure scenario you describe.
When the network is disconnected DGC lease renewals can't be sent and the
kernel exporting the object may therefore believe that the object is no
longer in use and collect it. When the network is re-established the remote
objects may be gone.
However the fact that you are seeing this message printed repeatedly is
troubling. You may want to contact [email protected] with the
description you provided here along with the following additional
information.
Are you seeing this message on the client or server? If on the server is it
on the server that was disconnected or on one of the other servers? What
version (including service packs) of WebLogic are you running?

Recently we have been getting ALOTof messages in our server log file of the
form:
Fri Jul 14 10:08:19 PDT 2000:<I> <DGCserver> tried to renew lease for lost
ref: 509
We use RMI for java client to server communcation and are using Weblogic
4.5.1 SP 8
with nativeIO enabled.
What could be causing these messages?

Thanks! I still have one problem, the lease renewal messages for lost
references never seem
to end for the specific reference. I have a weblogic.log file with hundreds
of those messages for
each lost reference (and still going). It seems that it is not giving
up... any ideas?

Normally, I would ask a customer in the situation to provide more about
their application. But, since I know a lot about how your application is
architected, I would guess the people are shutting down their browserswhile
your applet still running. The applet is not closing the socket cleanly
with Weblogic. The distributed garbage collector, which keeps track ofall
of the distributed objects, is trying to renew a lease for that object.It
cannot locate it and will eventually give up on it.

In-App Purchase Auto renewal subscription duration

Hello,
I am registered apple ios developer working on new application wherein going to implement in app purchase for the application.
my query is i want weekly subscription for my application-in app purchase, i tried with auto renewal subscription in in-app purchase, that allow me to select various periods like 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and so on...
now i can not select date for the period that means customer get subscription for those period while i want something that can start on every monday and ends on sunday. here if customer buy 1 week subscription on wednesday it should expire on sunday, but the current module facilitate until tuesday.
this creates issue on my next sunday subscription, user can get free for next week as they can access it in current scenario.
could you please guide me how can i set date for auto renewal in-app purchase.

Will old iPad apps have to be rewritten for the iPad 3?

When running apps designed for the first two iPads on the iPad 3, what will happen? Will they:
- look exactly the same as on the iPad I and II, so therefore will have to be rewritten to take advantage of the higher resolution?
- *automatically* use the higher resolution without rewriting?
- show up in a tiny window in the middle of a sea of black, like when you run iPhone apps on an iPad?

And I would presume that will also mean that using iPhone apps on the iPad will look even worse and maybe need a 3X key instead of 2X (or something like that)
If Apple was smart they told app developers a long time ago to make their apps scalable for larger resolutions

I do not want my itunes match subscription renewed. How do I stop my itunes match subscription from auto-renewing. I'm in my account info and can't figure out to stop it from renewing.

To turn off iTunes Match renewal, from here :
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In.
Enter your Apple ID and password, and click Sign In.
Choose Store > View My Account. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password.
In the "iTunes in the Cloud" section, click Turn Off Auto-Renew to the right of iTunes Match.

I need to create a new app for iPad with a free download of the first issue of the magazine.
When I will upload the second number (1 month later) I need to introduce the Auto-Renewable Subscriptions.
Is it possible to do that without a new build and submission to Apple?
Can I create an app with Auto-Renewable Subscription = no, publish to Apple and activate the subscription later?
Does the "subscription" button disappear form the app when there are no active Auto-Renewable Subscription?

You can control how the viewer will present the subscription. If you create a subscription viewer with a valid subscription productID and nothing exists to subscribe to, the subscription tile will not appear in the viewer. Once you publish valid retail content a month later, the subscription tile will appear, and your customers will be able to subscribe.

Hi, I have a problem with my app: After purchasing the Auto-Renewable subscription, the latest issue did not become available for download/reading.
These are the steps I done:
1. I selected one of the options for subscribe
2. Gone through In App Purchase
3. After going through the In App Purchase, app updates the library
4. After updating the library, the latest issue, is not available for download. It still has "Buy" button
The ios certificates seems ok (redone many times), same steps of other 3 apps I already done.
The In-app purchase Product ID are the same in the iTunes Connect and in the app through Viewer Builder (latest version with v19 tools)
In Adobe dashboard the shared secret are set properly, paywall disabled
Somebody had the same problem and can help me? I don't know really what else I can do

Today in iTunes Connect create a new in-app and auto-renewable subscription with a new id, rebuild the app with v20 tools and the new in-app purchase ids, delete the free issue and the in-purchase issue in the adobe dashboard and upload from my original indesign files again (the free with date for pubblication yesterday the other with today date), tested all in the sandbox and... everything works fine, after the subscription purchase the button became "download". I was happy and I sent the new app to Apple again (fourth time) for the approval. After only few hours later Apple start the review (this was amazing because it usually takes at least 5 days). One hour later I receive the "reject" state again
After purchasing the Auto-Renewable subscription, the latest issue did not become available for download/reading. Please see below for the steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Launch app
2. Tap Subscribe
3. Select any of the options for subscribe, for example, 3-month subscription as shown in the screenshot 0496
4. Go through In App Purchase
5. After going through the In App Purchase, app updates the library
6. After updating the library, the latest issue, in this case 327 - Maggio 2012, is not available for download. It still has "Buy" button as shown in the screenshot 0497
Now the question is: why on my 2 ipads worked well but apple find again the same error?
Where's the problem? I really need help from some Adobe experts, the "Gold support" don't really support me at all... I wrote a long email with all the details and the answer was one line and after my answer they disappeared ...
In this case unpublish folio and change publication date manually from folio producer and then republish it.
