Apps crashing constantly on Ipad 1 after update
I updated my Ipad 1 recently and now most of the apps crash constantly. I have read the threads about deactivating icloud.I dont even know what it is, i've never used it or activated it. I went into my settings---I cloud, and there is no options for this app. I need a walk through or something...
I am not running a lot of apps, restarting it does nothing, restoring to factory settings does nothing. If there is not a simple cost free fix, I will be trading my Ipad in for a new windows tablet.

I´m creating an application called set.a.light 3D with Unity 3D and some clients have problems after updating their os to 10.9.4. I have not much info. So here is what i have collected so far:
* all have mac book pro retina
* all have backups with old os versions, where it is running
* all have logs like this: kernel: process set.a.light 3D S[1039] caught causing excessive wakeups. EXC_RESOURCE supressed due to audio playback
* one send me: ERROR: [com.apple.audio.IOThread.client] AUHAL.cpp:2470: AUIOProc: AUHAL::AUIOProc: mono buffer too small (1024 > 512)

You're title says the app is crashing. Do you have the crash dumps?
Getting support is definitely one of the drawbacks to using 3rd party code, you will probably have to ask the Unity developers or community.

I updated iBooks beneath some other App-Updates.
Now iBooks crashes permanently.Try all of the basic fixes.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit iBooks and restart the iPad.Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button.Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears andlet go of the button.
Delete the app and reinstall it. Backup your iPad, transfer purchases and sync first so that all of your data is in the backup and the books are in iTunes on your computer.
Tap and hold down on the app icon until it wiggles - tap the X to delete the app. -
Yesterday Colloquy crashed on my iPad after an Arabic text string was pasted into the IRC channel that I was on. Another user using Linkinus under Mountain Lion on her Macbook Pro was also affected. As I understand it, this vulnerability has to do with applications that use Webkit. What is being done about it? Can we expect security updates for Mountain Lion and iOS 6 soon?
AFAIK, there has not been an update regarding this issue as yet.

Safari and other apps crash constantly. Why?
Safari and many other apps crash constantly - the screen just goes black and then back to the home screen. Is this a common problem?
1. Double-click the Home button to see all Inactive Apps in Task Bar
2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close App
4. Tap center of screen to return to Home Screen
5. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider -

You can try this, but it appears as though the download went bad and you might very well have to restore your iPad to get rid of the "Other",

"Other" consist of non media content .... App documents and files, contacts, calendar entries, Safari bookmarks and history, notes, email messages and so on. It should not be bloating your iPad storage. -

I had the same problem but looking at what everyone else said, I simpley slowly started to click on all the tabs in the app store, let them load completely, and then clicked back to the updates afterwards. It worked after a little while

Has anyone else had the issue of losing theYouTube app on the original IPhone after updating to 4.3.5? (The Restrictions is turned as OFF)
The Youtube app is now cleaned away from the IOS 4.3.5
Any help would be appreciated.This still doesn't make sense. The iPhone 4 may have come with a number of different versions of iOS out of the box depending on when it was purchased and how long it had sat on the shelf.
If you can't find it, check restrictions and make sure you haven't locked it out. -

I've tried everything to fix my iPad after updating it today 10.9.2-now it is in recovery mode - please help ????
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
Apps crash constantly after update
I have an iPhone 4 and have a problem with a few apps which run fine until the app is updated then they constantly crash on startup. I have looked through the crash logs and the constant theme is exc_bad_access. This is very frustrating!!!
Why does it happen after an update and with apps that I use a lot??

I also have an iPod touch 3 and iPad 3 both running the latest iOS and do not have this problem so it is obviously the phone.I have the exact same problem, and with the same 2 apps Simpsons Tapped Out and Candy Crush. Both happeded after updates to the apps. I tried everything to fix it, reinstall app, hard resets, etc. and nothing worked. I even contacted Simpson's App suport and they said to contact Apple support about it that they did not see a problem on their end. Very annoying since it seem to happen only on the apps I used the most. Hasn't happened to any apps that are rarely used.

Music app crashes constantly after iOS5 update and won't restart.
I have an iPhone 4 that I updated to iOS5 last week. The first time I tried the new Music App, it ran very sluggishly. I then connected it to my JVC car stereo via the dock connector (Made for iPod), and the Music App crashed. After crashing, it just shows a blank white screen when you try to start the app, then crashes again after about ten seconds.
I can delete all the music from the iPhone via iTunes, and then re-add it, which seems to work for getting the Music App working again. But as soon as I try to connect it to the dock connector on my car stereo, it crashes again as previously described. Grrr.No answers, only wanted to commiserate—I had a similar problem, and now my iPhone 5 running iOS 5 is showing the blank white screen for the Music app every time. No music showing anywhere, even when NOT connected to the dock in my car. I was wondering if the bug was related to the number of songs/size of files (since I have a crapload of music). This has to be happening to others...

IPad NOTES app crashing since 7.0.1 update
I updated my iPad to iOS 7.0.1 yesterday, and am finding that the Notes app crashes every time I try to update certain notes that I created today on my iPad 3.
I use Notes more than a few times a day, and have over 700 notes in one notepad which convieniently backs up to my Gmail and is searchable there. So, I hope that Notes crashing gets fixed soon. I've tried other Notes apps such as Notebook+ and Noteability and Evernote, but I keep returning to the Apple Notes app for its convenience and simplicity.Same issue here, with iPad 3. Notes worked at first after update. Then, it crashed while I was searching for a Note. I have also quit app, and restarted iPad, but as soon as i open Notes it briefly flashes that last screen I was on (I had been searching for a note, so it briefly shows the keyboard, the list of notes on the left, and the search box) and then immediately shuts down again.
I looked for notes in Spotlight Search, as someone suggested, but got the same result when i tried to open it from there.
Nothing seems to resolve it. really hoping I don't need to reboot the whole thing and start all over again setting up all of the other apps that required passwords, verification codes, etc etc....
