Apps disabled on the Verizon Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

I was curious about which features would be removed from the galaxy s6/ s6 edge on Verizon; Verizon has been known to remove features! (Which might have influenced a consumer's decision to buy it in the first place). Anyway, I saw the article above today, and thought it might be helpful for anyone that hasnt bought an S6 yet. I feel that if Verizon removes apps and/or features it should also be a standard of practice to share what has they've disabled or removed.
Verizon S6 & S6 Edges do not come with:
Smart Manager
One drive (& 100 GB free storage)
Skype, One Note, & Office Mobile preloaded

Please be advised--- Apparently Verizon has also disabled Samsung's stock browser. Subsequently this has also removed the feature for fingerprint sign-in...

I downloaded IOS6 and all of my app icons, including the App Store icon disappeared. There doesn't seem to be a way to delete the app and start over.

It sounds like the application you are looking for is indeed still on your iPhone. You can confirm this by searching in the Spotlight Search for this application. It may have accidentally been moved to a folder, or an additional Home screen:

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, check restrictions. Settings > General > Restrictions

- First try clciking the Home button one and try again.
- Next reset the iPod. Nothing is lost
Reset iPad: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

Upload an app just before the site is down and get rejection ??

Are there anyone managed to upload any app just before the site is down, and his/her app is approved ? I get a rejection from the market and since there is no description in the mail I wonder if anyone face a situation like me?

No its not its not working correct. maybe for some but i can't even check my sales or market on the app.
it won't even stop loading the screen after u did your name and password keeps on going.
i just managed to send app before site got down haven't got any feedback from apple yet that it was rejected go accepted.

All you can do is hide them from your purchased list. You cannot permaneently delete anything from your purchased history.
Also, these are not stored in your iCloud account storage space. The purchases reside in the online store and all you see is a list of those purchases made with your account, with a cloud-link to redownload them, but you are merely re-downloading them directly from the store.

The Apple TV doesn't switch on and of, it goes to sleep and wakes up, but yes you can perform these actions using the remote app.

This is the ugliest phone Samsung has produced. 1. Non removable battery and went from 2800 with the S5 to 2550 with the S6!!!! Really don't think the battery is going to be long life. 2. 16 mp camera 3. no SD card (that's so people will pay more for 64 gb and up) 4. As you can tell, looking on the web, you don't see people demonstrating with the dark colors, they are fingerprint magnets with glass being on back. Very disappointed with this one and I am normally a Galaxy S person. If I edge up this year, sure won't be the S6.

Excuse the thread necromancy, I had an S4, that upgraded from KitKat to Lollipop and the app drawer remained sorted alphabetically. New S6 has them higglety pigglety which is of precisely no use to anyone whatsoever. No option to sort. So it seems to be wholly an S6 thing and o2/Telefonica need to bring pressure to bear upon Google/Samsung to allow a AZ sort. Why would I want apps ordered in date of install rather than the universal standard alphabet?! Almost as annoying as Facebook/Instagram installed on the ROM and not uninstallable.

It appears as if the OS currently on that machine was not the original OS? If so, you are running into this problem because the seller did not do what he was supposed to do - he was supposed to erase the hard drive and reinstall the original OS. And, if he got either the OS or any apps at the app store, they are not transferable as they are tied to his Apple ID forever. That is why you will have to pay for them using your own Apple ID. And, if he obtained the current OS at the app store, you may also run into another problem: you may not be able to reinstall the OS if needed as that is tied to the original Apple ID as well.

You should have a backup of your servers regardless of circumstances. You would then be able to restore the server software.

I'm looking online at iPhone cases, and one is a "tough" case, meaning it has an inner silicone shell and a separate outer hard shell. But it claims it will not fit the Verizon iPhone 4s, but it will fit the AT&T iPhone 4s. Is there really anything different between the two?

The only difference is who you're giving your money to.
If you are ordering a "tough case" from case-mate .com, which is what it sounds like, it will fit any 4s. It's just that they have them separated into different categories at the top so you have to specify which one you have to basically filter out the 3gs and other phone cases that wont fit yours. Any case that fits the AT&T iphone 4s will fit the verizon one.
In my opinion though, you're much better off not getting a case mate case. I've gone through three of them in the last 8 months or so (I had an iPhone 4, and recently got a 4s but still used the same case)
they are nice when you first get them, but the paint chips off, they scratch the steel band around your, and are made out of really cheap plastic and rubber and it shows. You're better off getting something like the otterbox commuter case (what im currently using and LOVE it) if youre set on having that inner rubber layer of protection.

passed through FCC a WEEK ago. Verizon knew weeks ago they could not honor a nov. 14th release and chose to leave customers in the dark (again). Besides verizon bloatware no one uses anyway whats the hold up this time??...

I'm wondering the same thing, been waiting to upgrade my 3 lines to the edge, but I guess if I want this device, I'll have to take my contract somewhere else. It's a shame. A little more info than "coming soon" would be nice, too.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
