Apps for ELM ??

Hi
I have recently been given a SE Elm from my employer. I must say I like it. Do any one know if it is possible to down load application programs for diffrent purpose like GPS navigation etc? The tracker software in the phoen detects if I am moving and calculates the distance. I would like to change this and use tha GPS receiver to detect the distance insteade of the step counter (accelerometer or whatever it is called). Do anyone know how?

Tanks for your answer Dr Chris. I already have the wisepilot and my subscription has ended (the free month you get when the phone is new). Is the download you suggest a free version? I was hoping to find a Tracker similar to the one already in the phone but with functionality to use the GPS to calculate the distance instead of the step counter. There seems to be a peculiar function or bug in the software. If I stand still at one spot and shake my hand the Tracker will react as if I am moving ahead.

OK, at least 3 is working.
I don't know how you have a Tape Recorder icon on your Home Screen. I cannot add one myself. But, I am running Holo Launcher in replacement of the default LG "Optimus" User Interface. It's much better in my opinion.
Try long pressing the icon and select Edit and maybe you can change some attribute of the icon.
Another thing you could do, is long-press an empty area of your desktop, to add an icon. Select Shortcut, then Select Contact, and scroll through your contact list and choose the contact that you added for *86.
You realize if you have voice mail you haven't heard, there is a tape recorder icon in the notification bar, which you touch and pull down, then press it to dial voicemail.
If that functionality doesn't work, you MIGHT want to consider doing a factory data reset on your device, but that is going to nuke all your personalizations and cause you work to set up again.

Looking for a database collection app for children

Hi,
I am a primary school teacher and I am looking for a interesting way for my children to learn about databases and spreadsheets this term using the Ipads. I have looked at using Numbers but I am looking for an app that is child friendly and looks at them creating their own fields and collect their own data. Ideally want them to also use the camera to collect data and do majority of this on the ipad rather than sync it from a pc. Anyone kow any good apps for this?

My rue la la app for ipad suddenly dosent work so I deleted it now when I try to reinstall it the app store says that it not available in the us. It is still on my Iphone and working properly. What is this all about?

My app did the exact same thing. It is still unavailable on the App Store and when Rue La La's site directs you to download their app, the "not available in the U.S. message appears. This happened to me last night. The app wasn't working, I deleted it and was just going to reinstall but was unable to find the app. I figured it was some glitch but I have tried multiple times this afternoon to no avail.

I am trying to install Creative Cloud app for Desktop and it's shutting down

Trying to install the Creative Cloud app for Desktop but every time I try the Adobe Application Manager shuts itself every time. I have OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
If it is automatically installed, where do I find it? I don’t think it has installed because the Application Manager shuts itself so fast every time.

I went into Applications> Utilities but there is no Adobe Installers folder or icon there for me to do anything with. I went back to my Adobe account front page and tried to download Illustrator again seeing as it hasn’t installed but when Application Manager tries to open (the little spinning icon) it spins about 3 times before I get a pop up saying that Adobe Application Manager has failed to open. This happens every time I attempt to download Illustrator. Any other options for what might be the issue?

Adobe Creative Cloud app for Android (preview) compatibility?

HI - I notice that Adobe have released an Adobe Creative Cloud (preview) app for Android. This is very welcome as it would allow me to share files across Windows desktop, Android tablet and, if necessary, iPad.
But it says it isn't compatible with my Hudl2 - why?
Could it be because my tablet is wifi only? (I hope not.)

hi there, are there any plans to improve the SAP App - I am finding that the APP for Business one is very limited.e.g for Service, you can't add in a service Call, you cannot email a quotation from the App.

It is certainly not a virus. There are none.
Try the basic troubleshooting steps.

Sometimes all that is required is to restart the iPhone.
The final step is to restore it. Always back up your iPhone first.

You can't do anything in the background of iOS. Apps are still one at a time (with a few exceptions like Music), and suspend when the app is closed. It's also against the App Store guidelines to sell apps that would allow such actions.
Though, maybe you could get your Voice Memos saved to MP3's, which can play in the background of other apps.

Can not view bill online or on app for over 3 months!

I have not been able to view mmy bill online or through my fios app for over 3 months now.
I am enrolled in auto-pay, but I do not get paper statements, so I can never see my charges before my bill is paid.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Remote app for iPad Wont show songs but iPhone Will

I have a Strange problem with airport Express and airtunes
From my iPad 4.2.1 running Remote app for iPad if i search for an artist, like Gary Moore, it shows the artist name, but when i Press the name it doesnt display the songs with this artist, it says no songs found.
But if i use the same app on both my iPhone 4 and my iPod touch, and do the same search and Press the artist name, it shows All the songs that i have with this artist
Both the iPad and the iPhone connects to the same airtunes library, on the same machine with iTunes 10.1?
Does anybody have any ideas of what is wrong
I have tried to reinstall the app on the iPad, but that diednt work, i have tried to delete the library on the iPad with no luck

I know this is an old question, but I had the same problem and found the solution somewhere else and thought I'd post it here as this thread comes up when googling for the answer.
It appears as though any songs without an "Album" don't appear. In iTunes select all songs without an album, right click and select "Get Info" and give them an Album name (e.g. "Unknown" or "Singles"). This might also apply to songs without other tags.

Eos remote app for iOS

The idea was great, however the development seems to be stopped on this.
It hasn't been updated since Dec of last year.
Will there be a new version of EOS Remote app for iOS?
Features I'd like to see from the upgrade (if there's any)
1) Full size image transfer
2) Video file transfer
3) Indicate if a file is already downloaded to the phone or not.

The EOS Remote App currently works with up to iOS version 7. I am not sure if or when the next version of the app will be released, or what features will be added to it, but I have forwarded your suggestions along. This feedback is very important to Canon. Please continue to check in the app store from time to time for any updated versions that may be released.

I have installed HP All-in-One Printer Remote on my smartphone as well as on my PC having Microsoft Windows 8.1. The PC app is running
fine but on my smartphone, app can't find my HP Wireless printer. All Devices(PC, Smartphone, Printer) are connected to same wireless LAN Network.

Hi,
The app for Windows phone is a BETA version. In my case (also a Nokia) it can find my printer but when sending something to printer, printer won't print. Again, it's only a BETA version.

Printer control app for iphone

is it possible to roll back to a previous version of the Printer Control app for iphone? I recently and stupidly updated the HP Printer Control app when offered through itunes on October 30 and have lost all the functionality I previously had to print directly from my iphone to my photosmart 7520. Previously I could print whatever pages I chose from Safari and could change the print settings for either draft or normal, colour / black & white before printing. Now when I try to print a page, you don't get the option to just print page 1 and it wastes ink. If I open a pdf (all I've tried so far) document within this new AiO Remote app - even though my printer is listed and supposedly set up - I can't print at all! I desperately want to ditch this abysmal update and go back to the version that worked perfectly. I have conctacted Apple and they were unable to help as it's a third party app and referred me back to HP. Does anyone know how to do this?
