Apps have different size mb than on computer

a lot of my app's games show on my computer with different mb
one app i have show on my computer itunes apps as 918mb by clicking on info but when i go to my ipod touch via itunes and look for the same app/game its showing 1.2gb which is something like 200mb of a different whats going on?

Two reasons. On is the the iTunes size is the download size. ItThe files gets expanded as pae of the install. Also, there is usually app data in an installed app.

I recently switched over from iPhone4 to iPhone5S.
After restoring from my previous backup and everything is working, I am noticing that a lot of the some Apps have different sizes from iPhone4 to iPhone5, like pages, iBooks, etc. On the iPhone4 they are bigger than iPhone5S. Is that normal? I check on GENERAL/USAGE and enetered specific App items just in case I had not synched my specific data inside each app but everything is synched and the same size. Just the APP size is different, for example, on iPhone5S Pages is 100MB less than on iPhone4, although I have the same data backupped... is that something related to a more efficient way of storing on iPhone5S? Just to be precise, I would like to point out that the iOS version is updated to the last version to both iPhones...

The app size also includes user data, so would be different from one phone to the next.
For example, if you have the Google app. Look up app usage, then open the app, do a few searches, look up some pictures, etc. You will see the app usage size grow the next time you look at it.
Nothing to be concerned about, unless you're running out of storage.

don't know as much as I should about JTable, but it seems that using yourTable.getDefaultRenderer() could help you: if I clearly understood the javadoc notes, it returns an object inheriting from JLabel, so you should be able to use setHorizontalAlignment(int align) on it... no time to verify this, but I'd be thankfull if you tell me the results !!!

Why photos in iPhoto (mac) have a different size (mb) than the original?

I have noticed that some photos (not all) have a smaller size (in MB) in iPhoto than the original ones. Do you know the reasons of such decrease of size? iPhoto import procedure is supposed to not lose any information wrt the orignal one then, why the imported photos in some cases should be smaller? Thanks in advance.

1. the source of the original size is the size that I read in the finder (not the one read in the camera).
2. the pictures are jpg
3. the source of the anomalous size is the info box of iphoto, the box where you can find all the exif info, resolution, iso, f-number, EV, etc. In this box you can read also the size of the photo, and here I find that for some photos a smaller size than the original one read in the finder.
4. for the records the camera is a FUJI S5 pro.
5. the photos are not edited in iphoto, as said in my reply, just imported and placed in a album. I just import photos in a folder on my mac, import those photos in iphoto, and I find the mismatch of the size between the photos in the folder on my desktop with the original photos and the ones in iphoto. As said, this does not happen for all photos, but for a subset, which appears to be random, since I do not find common features in these photos. I have check in older photos imported and find similar mismatch.
I know that's crazy, I really do not understand why this strange fact is happening. It is even stranger, that if I import twice the same photo, I read two different size in iphoto.

My iphone has a different apple id than my computer - how can I connect the two?

I have an apple id on my computer, and I have iCloud - but my iPhone has a different apple id - is there anyway that I can change my iphone apple id so it is the same as my computer? I can't do the iTunes match because it says I am not subscribed, but according to my computer, I am subscribed!!

* when i tried to update my mobile software from Nokia Suite, it downloading it as about 80 MB size...
* and when i tried to update my mobile at same time by (Nokia Software recovery tool) it dowloaded the same update version but size was about 340 MB....
So why this difference and what its mean, although its the same mobile and same update version and the same time so why that siezs differnces??
and which is the best (update using Nokia suite 80mg - or- Nokia Software recovery tool as 340 mg)??

The Nokia Software Recovery Tool virtually restores your phone's firmware - similar to a fresh Windows installation (aka reformat) and removes all user created data stored on the phone whereas the Nokia Suite update only adds and replaces certain files on the firmware.

It seems your sequence settings does not match your footage.
Start over and do this to get the correct settings:

Hierarchy leaves have different InfoObject name than the value

Hi,
I am working on an hierarchy and loaded data to BW. I noticed that when I expanded the tree, the right side of the leaves saids 0COSTCENTER but the left hand side of the leaves has the department values. Would this be a prolem for reporting or any purposes for use of hierarchies? I was told that the 0COSTCENTER should display the InfoObject name ZDEPT instead.

Actually I was wondering if you could give me some insights on this. We are working with a 2 level hierarchy. That is
Costcenter1
   -Dept 1
   -Dept 2
   -Dept 3
Cost center2
   -Dept 4
   -Dept 5
   -Dept 6
Etc...
We would want a manager from cost center 1 to only look at data from those departments from cost center 1 and not any other cost centers. We are building this hierarchy to check the authorizations.
Would recommend doing this even though I think we could do this with attributes and navigationsal attributes instead of hierarchy because it is only 2 levels.
Is there a way to do authorizations using navigational attributes?
Any other ideas?

I am showing a JComboBox with all possible fonts. Some of the font names are very long. I'd like to show a narrower combobox but when the popup menu is open to make as wide as necessary.

Do you mean you all have different AppleIDs? But, do you also have different user accounts on the computer?
Simplest thing is just give everyone their own user account on the computer - they log into their account and sync their devices from only their account. Keeps everything separate and neat.

Adding media directly to the media folder does not make it appear in the library. iTunes doesn't really 'look' at that folder except to go to specific files when you call upon them from a library. You have to drag new content to each user's library, that is assuming each user has their own library.

Print Different Size Photo, one per page

I am using PS5 in 64 bit mode. I print on a Epson 3880 printer. I shoot all photos in RAW. I process all my RAW files in ACR accomplishing 80% of changes and the balance 20% in PS. The output of my retouch is a Master Image (MI) File that I would like to print at different sizes. I am starting to sell my images at Art Shops and Hops. My customers would like to have different size images of my MI's How do I print from the MI, different sizes images with a 150 - 300 ppi and maintain the integrity of the MI?
I have tried the Image Tool but it will not let me print the image sizes that my customers want. The Image Tool only allows me to change one dimension either (H) or (W) but not both. Help.

If you want to print standard size images like 16x20, 8x10, 5x7, 4x6 etc these have different aspect ratios you will need to crop you image to the correct aspect ratio for the print you want or you could print different print sizes that have the same aspect ratio. Like you camera most likely has a 3:2 aspect ratio if you use a DSLR. You could print all 3:2 aspect ratios image on you 3800. 3x2, 6x4, 9x6,12x8 15x10, 18x12, 21x14, 24x16... all that needs to be changed is the print DPI setting without resampling. You have a 3800 that can print up to 17" wide. You can print any size you want. Some image cry out to be cropped. They look best cropped for image composition is often best as some non standard aspect ratio.

While checking the large segments , I came to know that index HZ_PARAM_TAB_N1 is larger than table HZ_PARAM_TAB . I think it's highly fragmented and requires defragmentation . Need your suggestion on the same that how can I collect more information on the same . Providing you more information .

But as I'm on my new site , I was looking for some more supporting information before drafting the mail on the same that it requires re org activity .It's not possible for an index to have the size greater than tables as it contains only 2 columns values + rowid . Whereas tables contains 6 columns .
