Apps icons not visible

I have downloaded some apps from the store and i have synced it to the ipod touch i am not able to see the apps icons but when i search the ipod touch its there, and i am able to use the apps, how can i make the apps icons visible??

@fpschmitt I tried taking them off of the ipod and then putting them back on in the app window of the sync session. I have a feeling restore is the only thing that may help. I am hoping that it isn't a software issue. It is a ipod 3g

Mission Control Only Showing App Icons, NOT Windows

I just purchased a new MacBook Pro Retina and am noticing a bug with Mission Control. When I go to Mission Control to see all of the different windows I have open, it's showing just the app icons, NOT the actual app windows. This occurs sporadically; sometimes it works properly, and sometimes it doesn't. I actually realzied the same issue on my MacBook Pro (2009) after upgrading to Mountain Lion a few weeks ago, therefore it seems to be an OS issue and not a HW issue.
Here is a screen shot of what I see when Mission Control is not working properly:
Instead of those icons, it should be showing the actually windows within those apps that I have open.
Any ideas?

I have this problem too and would love a solution...when it happens to me it only seems to be on one of my spaces, if I use gestures to get to another space Mission Control" works fine on a different space, but if I go back to the original space it stops working..I have found a fix, which is just move the active window slightly, yep, that actually works, and then Mission Control starts working again...it's weird...would still love to know what causes it, even though the fix is an easy one...
Just on the safari comments above, I have noticed this happens when one of the tab has "reader" activated...turning of 'reader' seems to fix the issue with safari...

App icons not showing up after downloading?

Why do my app icons not show up on my iPad2? I have purchased the apps on my iPad directly. Also, I know they are there because when I search it finds them and then I can open and run them.

Could the Apps be on the second page of Apps? From your Home page, wipe across from right to left to scroll to page 2.
If that is the problem, press and hold on the icon. When it starts to wiggle, you can drag it back to the first page. This can also be done from iTunes when the iPad is selected.

Airplay working but icon not visible.

I have just replaced my 2G iPod with a 5G. Although Airplay is working I cannot see the icon in 'Music', however, I can see it in Tunein radio from which I select my wireless speaker. When I return to 'Music' Airplay will work. The Airplay icon is visible on iTunes on my PC and my 2G iPod. Any suggestions?

On the right hand side of the fast forward arrows when playing music - your question is making me think that the layout is not as my 2G iPod even though the icon appears in apps.

Calendar.live settings icon not visible in Firefox 28.0

The live.com settings icon in all pages except mail is not visible when using Firefox. It works fine in IE.

...the icons of the nodes are displayed correctly, but the dashed lines to visualize the level of a node and the + and - icons for collapsed or not collapsed nodes are not visible. I am using Windows LAF. What's wrong ?

1) Are you using the default images?
2) What is the Image URI?
3) Snapshot of the Structure window, property inspector window?
4) Are you using any switcher?

Admin Applet icons not visible

Hi Guys,
I have installed UCM on server with apache as web server and java 1.5.
UCM installed successfully..but what i found is admin applet icons are visible if i open my content server from local system but when i use server system IP and try to open UCM from remote desktop admin applet icon are not visible.
Is this java version error. How can i resolve it?

Hi Sunil,
I might sound like I'm repeating but you said you have Java 1.5 on your desktop which is fine cause you can see it from there but.. do you have 1.5 for the <u>browser you're using in the remote desktop</u>? Because this is surely a browser JRE issue.
Go to the browser properties and look for the JRE your browser is using:
i.e IE explorer: Internet Options->Advanced Tab-> scroll down until you find the Java option and make sure JRE 1.5 (or later) is being used.

Hi, My iPad memory was cleared and restored, however FIFA app icon has not re-appeared. When I carry out a search it is shown but it doesn't show ordinarily, I have gone into the app store where it shows up as being installed, therefore not allowing me to download fresh again. Any suggestions?

App icons not clickable - any ideas?...

Hello folks.
I have a brand new out-of-the-box iMac 27 with OSX pre-installed. I believe (from when it was running) that it was OSX 10.6.1 (would that be right???) but the install disk, relevantly, is 10.6.4.
It was a joy to use for the first two days but then it refused to accept keystroke entry at the password login screen. I did all of the things the user guides suggested and I can now boot up and log on, but none of the app icons respond to the cursor: no name panel pops up above the icon; the icon doesn't 'jump' and it isn't clickable. Consequently, although I have a functional computer with loaded software, I can't activate anything!
What have I tried? In overcoming the login issue I began with the force quitting and 'all cord remove and replace procedure. I reset the PRAM. I re - installed the OS X. The batteries on the wireless keyboard and mouse are fine and they both connect (the cursor responds) but I have used USB keyboard and mouse to eliminate that variable.
Any ideas??? All tips gratefully received.

Apps icons not appearing on screen after ios7 upgrade

After updating to IOS7, my apps are not showing up on screen. They appear in the App Store under purchased, and open when I press the "open" button. How cai I get the icons back on the screen?

I think I am having the same problem.
After updating to iOS 7, a couple of my Purchased apps have icons on my iPhone 4S screen, and some of my Purchased apps do not. If I go to App Store/Updates/Purchased, all the apps I Purchased show up, even the ones I deleted from my phone (before and after the upgrade).
All of my active apps have the "Open" button next to it. But how do I get the active-apps-that-aren't-showing-on-my-phone to show up on my phone?
I haven't found any Apple support string that talks about this and it's frustrating. My commonly used apps are no longer easily accessible, which is counterproductive.

Install Data Services(DS) 4.0 on IPS4.0 SP2, DS icon not visible on CMC

Hello,
Here is the issue we are facing:
1. Installed IPS 4.0 SP2 on Server #1. Installed tomcat as well on the same server.
2. Login to CMC to verify. It looks good.
3. Installed DS 4.0 SP1 on Server #2.
4. Use server#3 with MS SQL Server 2008 DB for creating CMC and DS Repos.
5. Login to DS Designer successfully.
6. Login to CMC.
7. You should see a Data Services icon in the CMC. BUT the Data Services (DS) icons not available
When you install IPS4.0 and DS4.0 on the same server, it works fine. We have done this.
I have been told that this is a IPS4.0/DS4.0 bug and that SAP is working on it. I haven't seen a solution anywhere for this yet. Has anyone faced this issue and what did was done to resolve this?

Resolved it with SAP's help.
We had to run DS 4.0 installer on the IPS (so that CMS is local) server
and install the DS EIM APS + Management Console on the IPS box.

Apps are not visible on ITunes. Unable to sync or update.

I recently reformatted my laptop. When I connected my IPhone I lost all my music and my apps. However I restored my purchased apps by downloading them directly from the IPhone. Now I'm unable to sync them through the 'Apps' section in ITunes. I'm unable to update the apps through my computer. Is there a way to resolve this? I'd like my apps to be visible on ITunes.
