Apps in dock not itunes

Hi, I'm about to get an iPod touch and this will be the first time that I'll have a mobile device that can support apps. So I'm downloading a couple and I notice they load into the dock and not iTunes. Will they transfer over to the iPod automatically when I connect the device? And what happens if I want to load some but not all?

If they are in the dock that means they are OSX apps, you need to download iOS apps (for iPod Touch) within iTunes. When in the iTunes store there is a section specifically for apps, there are free and paid ones available. Once you have the iPod and it is setup you can also download and install directly.It is a good idea to have a backup on iTunes though.

Can't Permanently My Apps. Shows in App Store but not iTunes.

There are a couple of apps that are in my Purchased "Not on this phone" section. I deleted "yes, I've tried reinstalling it" the apps from my phone but as I connect it to my computer, it is no where to be found in the App section of my iTunes. I've synced it multiple times but will not show on my iTunes for me to permanently delete. Other apps aren't an issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Apps in dock bouncing but not launching.

I have second account on my PowerBook. And this problem is only on this second limited account.
It was working five until few weeks ago. The problem is "Apps in dock are bouncing but not launching".
Apps like Mail, Safari, Firefox, iPhoto, iTunes, Skype, QuickTime, Vlc, Address Book, iCall and even Google Notifier on the top Bar. I can click on them again again but nothing. Only way to open them is to Log Out and Log in again. But in this case not all of them are working yet. I have tried with Apple Apps to delete in Library/Preferences - com.apple. .... but it doesn't work.
I know the easiest way to solve it would be just create this second account again but I wanna find out what's going on here.

"com.apple.launchservices.plist" Could not find it there (in Preferences on second account) I found it only in Preferences on my *Main account*. So tried to copy it on to my second account but it did not help.
I know it is maybe not at least 10% free al the time but I had no problem with it until now.
Another thing is I deleted "com.apple.launchservices.plist" on my Main account Restarted Computer and it did not created new "com.apple.launchservices.plist" and everything works ok on my Main Account. Very confusing.
Only common thing both accounts now have is "com.apple.LaunchServices.QuarantineEvents". Tried to delete it and it Created it self again as I expected.
Even non Apple App *"Google Notifier"* is not launching in top bar.

After updating to windows 8.1 iTunes does not think I have high definition display. Playback with other internet apps is in high def, but not iTunes.

I updated to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8. Now when I try to play high definition movies, iTunes says they can not play back on my display which is low def. My display has high resolution and display settings are correct. Other websites play back in high def. Just not iTunes.

or, you can use WSreset.exe tool, or manually trying to clear the cache from the Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder.

Iphone apps show up in itunes but do not sync

I just downloaded and installed the new IOS 7.0.2 update and after the install, there are several apps that no longer show up on my iphone. They were there before I installed the update, and they disappeared after the install. I have synched 3 different times after verifying that they were in my itunes library but they refuse to synch.

There are a couple of things you can try to resolve this issue.
The first would be to restart and/or reset the iPhone.

Next, perform a Spotlight Search for one or more of your apps to see if they may be been moved to one of the other 5 home screens.

If the icon exists on your screen, just do a long press on that icon and when the small X appears on top of the app, press it and it will delete it. As long as this is not an Apple app, since those cannot be deleted.

The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

The music and videos sync to the 4G, but apps & podcast will not. All are checked to sync. During sync, it gets to "determining apps to sync" then immediately goes to "finished syncing". No apps or podcasts from my Mac itunes are on the touch 4G.

You can only sync to one iTunes library but you can manage music and videos among different computer/libraries.
It appears that you are trying to sync with a different library.
- If you want to make the Mac you syncing computer:
--- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by:

Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

New MBPro last August, running OS 10.7.5, have a code for Mt Lion which I have been trying to download ever since. (Am confined to bed a lot so cannot just run down to Apple store.) Have tried changing date/time,(it's correct), making all blue security certificates " always trust" in Keychain and adding this (208.67.222.222) to network address under DNS, and fixed permissions literally 6 times in a row. Also, just added instructions to terminal all per online support.
If I didn't love my Mac I would sell it after all this frustration. Cannot begin to estimate the hours, days I've spent on this.
