Apps in multiple folders on iOS?

Folders are a great way to organize my apps, but there are times when an app may fit in more than one folder/category. I'd like to be able to have multiple aliases to an app so that I could find a church music app in both my music folder and in my church folder. Any chance that this is under development? Please tell me I'm not alone in this desire...

I'm sure Apple didn't originally intend to design a phone that is now 5.5" screen but they did. And I'm sure many could debate that Apple is a multi user device being used similar to the household laptop/computer. I'm sure we've witness at some point parents handing over the device to their child to entertain them during dinner or the parent sharing the device with the student? Speaking of students....many schools share iPads...hence becoming a multi user device..
As to having identical app icons in different places, i do it on PCs and Androids. Evidently there are consumers who like identical apps in different folders based on how they use the device and for convenience. I realize I'm working on a different system but with Apple being the driving force on the latest and greatest with technology advancement, having the ability to have iapp icons in different folders/screen would seem like an automatic function. But you have proven me wrong.

I am trying to manage a number ipads in the business but I have problems managing the download of apps to multiple ipads using a single copy of Itunes and appleid.
I obviously want purchase correctly the number of copies of the app I require and manage them going forward but the issue I have is that when I try to purchase an additional copy of the app it shows as already purchased and downloaded in my Itunes.
What am i doing wrong or is this a feature?
Any help appreciated.

Managing installed apps for multiple devices

Is there a way to create an "app playlist" in order to easily create a common set of installed apps across multiple devices? I'm tired of having to install the same app on each of my kids devices. Also, I don't want to enable auto install new apps because I don't necessarily want my kids to get apps that I'm installing on my devices.

The un-compatible updates will not install on the iPod.
Make sure that you retain a copy of the version that is compatible with iOS 4.2.1 since you can only redownload the latest version version from the App store.
I would backuyp the library to an external HD by:
iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive
Note that when you update an app on the iPod and then sync, the update apps is also synced to the iTunes library.

Apps Crashing/Sync not working - iOs 6 *****

Hi i just recently upgraded to iOS 6. I found that my battery drains in 1-2 hours and my apps crash within 30 seconds of using them. i tried a restore, but now the sync is malfunctioning. It wont sync my apps or music fully. The music will be greyed out and the apps just say waiting. Anyone know what to do?

I've tried all the solutions above without fixing this problem of being unable to update apps on my iPad (once again, the latest iPad with iOS 8.02).
However, I was able to fix it using the nuclear fix. I first backed up the iPad to my MBA, then I did the "Settings/General/Reset/Erase all content and Settings" which put my iPad back in factory settings with iOS8.02. After rebooting, I then did the iTunes "Restore" option and my iPad is back to normal operation and doing updates.
The bad thing about this option is that all my apps "lost" their folders and I had to make new folders for the multitude of apps I have. Very time consuming, but what's a mother to do???

Sync with multiple folders?

I would like to sync multiple folders with my iPhone, but the user interface only allows me to select folders that are at the same directory level - I can't select subfolders that are more than one level deep, or multiple folders from arbitrary locations.
Is there a way to do this?
I am syncing from a Windows computer, although I also own a Mac, and could possibly sync from there if it makes a difference.

You can only sync with one folder; no way around that - you need to collect the pics into that folder, or subfolders within that folder - subfolders within that folder are treated as "albums" within the Photos app in the iPhone. There's no way around that. The same is true on the Mac if you choose to sync to a folder. On the Mac you can also choose to sync to the iPhoto library, but even so, just to the one library and selected albums within that library.

Is it possible to search across multiple folders using the Mail application in Windows 10? I can't seem to find that option.

If you mean the following search:
You may click on the search icon on the top of the message list, then it will show out like the picture above, you could choose to search in the current folder, or you may choose All folders as listed.
It is almost the same settings in Windows 8.1, you may follow this guide for the other options:

Any ideas regaurding syncing apps without losing folders and organization.

I recently had a hard drive failure. So I saved what little I could while it was going down in flames. As such I managed to grab all my music but not my backup folder in itunes for my iphone. Once I got up and running fresh. I authorized the account, downloaded available files, and transferred my purchases. Being weary of losing anything. I checked and synced every thing successfully but the apps. ( I synced apps once and then restored a previous back up. Which just gave me my unsynced profile back) I have three questions. I've searched exhaustively for answers to no avail.
1. I noticed that when I check sync apps it throws my apps all over the place, so i uncheck it. Given I have transferred purchases first. Will I lose just my folders and organization if I sync ( I have 200 apps mostly in folders) or will I lose my App data as well?
2. Does anyone know a way that does not require accessing the old itunes that would allow me to keep my folders and data?
(I read about the hex edit solution which requires the persistent id of the old itunes that unfortunately for me is no more)
3. Assuming syncing still keeps my app data but deletes the folders and layout. Could I be lazy, not sync apps and just keep transferring purchases when I sync everything else until that fatefull day when my iphone bites it and I need a restore? Moving Multiple Folders

Is it possible to move multiple folders at once. I can't seem to do it, and it's tedious moving one at a time.

This does appear to be he case. One can select more than one FOlder, but then on a Drag & Drop LR, only does the first select. I would conjecture that this may be because LR has to manipulate the actuall folders remotely, so this is to prevent confusion or mistakes. (LR not knowing if you meant to select more than one or not.)
Since Folders and there relationship to actual Folders/Directories are relatively new to LR, it maybe that they are keeping things simple for now. Not saying this will deffinitely come (I don't know) but maybe as the app matures a feature like this will be added.

Shortcut to close multiple folders in List View

In the Finder, in list view, I have multiple folders open (using the triangle by the Folder name). I'd like to be able to close all the open folders at once. I know that holding Option while clicking the red Close button on a window will close multiple windows and I want to do something similar with the folders.
I'm sure I knew how to do this once but can't remember now.

I can delete remote folders/files via bat command with psexec (below) but;
It takes a little time because of the 9 different folders. Maybe, looping of txt file can be used for different folders.

I have the Creative Cloud membership. Can I install an app on multiple computers? I wouldn't use the app on different computers at the same time.

You can install on as many machines as you like, but the account can only ever be active on 2 machines at any given time. If you need to move to anotehr machine, you need to sign out with a full deactivation on one of the two machines in use.
