Apps in the 'new iPad' won't open

I just got my 'new iPad' few weeks ago but this had happened twice!
The first time my apps won't open was after i sync my iPad to the laptop. I'd reinstalled all the apps and everything was alright again.
I tried to sync my iPad again today and the same thing repeated. I'd tried restarting the iPad few times but it's not working. Is there any other solution? Reinstalling is very inconvenience and time consuming! Worst is that I lost all my paid apps!!!
Is this a Factory defect?

I have a new Ipad and experienced the very same problem with the purchased applications not opening.  It was driving me nuts and I think Apple should take this problem seriously and fix it. The temporary fix was exactly as stated by an earlier commentator which is to go to the App store and get a free app (I picked alarm clock) install it and the problem is fixed.  All other apps now will open.

  • The Trailers app on the new iPad - won't play trailers

I just upgraded the trailers app on my new iPad the other day. For some reason when I try to watch a trailer the screen goes blank like it is trying to play the video but then simply closes out the the main trailers screen.
I've tried to reinstall the app but it still doesn't work.
    Any thoughts?

When playing I got the message "not authorized to play protected movies".
HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) has nothing really to do with copyright.
The movie is encoded with HDCP therefore you need an HDCP connection from start to end. RGB is not HDCP compatible.

How much space is your Other using? You may be able to reduce.
How Do I Get Rid Of The “Other” Data Stored On My iPad Or iPhone?
    http://tinyurl.com/85w6xwn
With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

  • I have just had a replacement IPad as the camera stopped working. Now the new iPad won't recognise my aol e mail for face time as well as my apple id. I have tried adding as a second e mail, but it says already in use

I have just had a replacement iPad as the camera stopped working.
Now the new iPad won't receive FaceTime calls at my aol.com email.
If I try to add it as a FaceTime address it just says email address already in use.
I guess it is still linked to the old iPad in some way
Any suggestions? The old I pad is wiped and back in the store

This Apple article should be able to help ya out -> iOS: FaceTime is 'Unable to verify email because it is in use'

  • Can i install my iWork apps on the new iPad (3)?

Hi! I have an iWork '09 installed on my Macbook back in 2009... Now I am planning of buying the new iPad however I would like to know first if I can install the same iWork '09 apps on the new iPad. Hmmm?

You can't use the same Apps as the ones on your MacBook, but you can use the iPad version from the App Store. They are sold separately as Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

  • Cannot install apps in the new iPad.

After activating the new iPad and setting up some apps, the issues occur like that when you purchase apps from AppStore and install them, they will always keep in waiting status. But I have checked that the network is OK and restarted the new iPad already. Anyone can assist me to sovle this problem?
    Thanks.

Try any or all of these and see if they help.
Check to see if you have a stalled download in iTunes - a song that did not finish downloading or a podcast perhaps. Finish those first if there is one in there.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.
Tap on one of the "waiting" icons and see if you can get one of them to pause - then tap again to see if they will resume downloading.

  • My settings button on my BRAND new iPad won't open!! Help :(

My brand new iPad will not let me open the settings button!! Please help :(. Also my Facebook app won't stick it's the only 1 that will not stick. I have googled a guy said to download an app but the app didint exist in my App Store! Ahh help not happy!!

Not sure what you mean by the facebook app 'won't stick'?
    Try this,
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
(How to update your iOS device
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623)
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings  (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute)

  • Why is the youtube app not the new ipad

why dont i have the youtube app thingy that used to be there

Apple decided to remove google apps from being included in iOS. Google released an iPhone version of YouTube that you could install while we all patiently (or not) wait for google to make it universal...

  • My earphones on the new iPad won't work  and I've tried to push them in harder that works for like five seconds and t hen disconnects does anyone know what's wrongs or what to do

    Pls help me

Oh, there are other things to try in the interim, not the least of which would be a different set or type of plug. You should make sure that there's no possible interference from any sort of a cover you might have on the iPad. You can try something as simple as blowing debris out of the plug's recess with a jet of compressed air. Try putting a thin film of electronic lubricant, like a CRC, on a plug and exercise it in and out a few times.
There might be some other things that might help, like giving it a good shake, but the above will at least give you something to do for a while.

  • Does anyone feel that the new iPhoto app for the new iPad is slow?

Does anyone know the name of the painting/drawing app in the new iPad commercial?

Actually - according to iTunes - it is ArtRage

I have Sketchbook - the free version - and it as a different UI.
