Apps Installation Fails [was Hi]

I just downloaded Creative Cloud to my new computer and I am trying to install Indesign and Photoshop. When I am using creative cloud -> apps panel everything is ok. Then I click "install" on the right side of the Photoshop CC(2014) and Indesign CC (2014) logos. It starts to install but before I get 100% it says: "Installation failed".
Why?

found my problem. a typo when I create SQL DB, I named it "Complianc", but I specify it as "Compliance" in web app installation wizard. the error logs miss leading me keep troubleshooting the kerberos

i have purchased a navigation (GPS) application for iphone and ipad but installation fails with error 0xE8000004, even if the application is the only one (i have removed all other apps). I have tried on iphone and ipad and using different OS: Windows 7 professional 64 and Windows XP 32.
Has anyone an idea of the problem ?

IPhone app installs fail with Notification of iTunes pre-order from 2009 "Top 5..." by Matt Giraud

Whenever I try to install/update an iPhone app I get notified of a old 2009 pre-order which is now expired. If I tap Not Now then install aborts. If I tap OK then install starts and then fails with "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". If I then repeat the same install it completes fine. Can anyone help me remove this annoyance?

Okay, just to test it out, I took my remote XML feed and saved it as a file locally on my machine. Using the local copy it works, but when I try to access it remotely the data appears then disappears in my widget and I would assume it is doing the same thing on my mobile safari app. Thoughts?

Installation fails on OS X Snow Leopard

I have an app using the sidecar installer, when a user tries to install it on Snow Leopard it goes through the process and eventually gets to this error message:

AIR is not installed after it closes. If the user already has AIR installed, then the installation succeeds.

I re-downloaded the sidecar installer and it appears to work in my initial test.
Is it possible that, despite still being AIR 1.5.2, the installer was updated? The installer we shipped and the installer that's up for download have different filesizes.

AIR 2.5.1 sidecar installation failing on Windows 7

My team is attempting to distribute the AIR runtime with our AIR application, and experiencing frequent failures on Windows 7 (64 bit).
The error message is "The application could not be installed. Try installing it again. If the problem persists, contact the application author. Error #0".
I am not seeing this issue on Mac OSX or with previous version of Windows.
This issue is for the sidecar distribution package - I am able to install AIR by itself without incident.
The package is a (zipped) folder to be downloaded from our storefront, containing the application and the most recent sidecar package for Windows distribution (2.5.1.17730).
The typical solution suggested for this type of problem is to scrub your system of any and all AIR files, and reinstall. I have tried this using both Windows Install Clean-up Utilities and CCleaner with no luck. Additionally I have restored the machine I am testing on to factory settings, so no evidence of AIR should exist to begin with.
I am using an admin account, and have tried shutting off UAC.
Curiously I am able to install without a problem from a USB drive or CD! The AIR distribution documentation hints that the sidecar installer is meant to be used with physcial media (CD, DVD, USB, or DMG); is it possible that sidecar installation ONLY works from external devices?
My main concern is NOT getting AIR installed on this particular machine, but releasing our product with the confidence that Windows 7 users will be able to install. Or at the very least, that we can offer a simple solution to users who do need to troubleshoot.
The install log (following) seems to point towards setup.msi being the fail point.
I have also zipped the MSI logs and posted them here, rather than pasting them in the document since there are 3 (long) files.
Any insight would be appreciated - thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay.
We're generally a Mac house, so there's only the one Win7 machine that we test on. However we did send the app out for testing, and had similar results on some (but not all) of their Win7 environments.

- First do a fresh install of Adobe AIR. You can get the latest one from https://get.adobe.com/air
- Download the Adobe Story installer file directly from this url: https://story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air
- Double click on the downloaded file to install it.
If this still fails, please mail us the logs at DL-AdobeStory-support<at>adobe<dot>com

Sidecar installation fails in OS X 10.6.6

We've bundled a DMG image for our customer to publish an Adobe AIR application. But at some Mac Books the installation fails when opening the Adobe AIR Installer.app in the finder:

The same error occurs when starting the Adobe AIR Installer.app from the terminal.

Hi, Well I have always read that Repair Permissions need to be done on a Mac. Now if you've Uninstalled Flash Player and then Installed it according to that Guide, then I don't know what is wrong. All of the Apple discussions that I have read, stress that after the Install of Flash Player, the Repair Permissions must be used.
What exactly is happening? My understanding is that the Safari browser is defaulted to the 64bit and you need to use the 32bit browser. Also in Safari or whatever other browser you use, a Shockwave Flash plugin must be Enabled. Sometimes during an Uninstall/Install or even updating the Safari browser, this gets Disabled. So that would be something to check as well.
My knowledge is somewhat limited and what I do know is from other Mac Users or searching for info on my own:-)

App Server Fails to Start after Installation

Hi,
I've spent a whole day struggling with this, looking through forum discussions and trying out every single suggestion I've come across in the forums. I'm running out of ideas now and really appreciate any help I can get with this problem.
I'm trying to install SJSC2 (also tried with SJSC2u1 with the same outcome) on a new HP notebook (nw9440) running WinXP_sp2. I'm using the default installation done by HP.
My installation path is C:\Java\SunCreator2 (C:\Java\SunCreator2_1 for update 1).
After the installation the App server fails to start up and gives the below error in the server.log.

I've tried every workaround I've seen in the forums such as installing under different paths (both with spaces and without spaces), cleaning all the temporary files in the Temp directory, renaming the productregistry in the windows system directory. Each time I get the exact same error in the install.log.
I also tried installing the stand alone SUN App Server 8.1_02_2005Q2 as well as 8.2. I don't seem to have any issue with this installation or running of the stand alone server at all on the same machine.
Really appreciate any help I can get. TIA....

After spending more time looking through the forum, I came across the below thread which has worked in my case (though it was suggested for Sol10x86).

This is the workaround that worked in my case.
> $ cd <Creator_Home>/SunAppServer8/lib
$ mv processLauncher.xml processLauncher.xml.trayIcon
$ cp processLauncher.xml.bak processLauncher.xml
# If you have a domains/creator/config/domain.xml
$ cd ../bin
$ ./asadmin start-domain creator
This started the app server. After that I was able to start and stop app server within the JSC as well.
Only difference between these two xml files seem to be,
processLauncher.xml.trayicon
<main_class classname="com.sun.rave.tray.RavePEMain"/>
processLauncher.xml
<main_class classname="com.sun.enterprise.server.PEMain"/>
Possibly pointing to a bug in the "com.sun.rave.tray.RavePEMain" class.

After the update to Android 5.0.1 on my Galaxy Note 4, my Galaxy Gear S will not install apps, I get an error message that says "Installation Failed. Try Later. (WO:WO:-1002). I am glad it was a free app I was trying to install (I tried a couple of different ones to see if it was just a bad app and they all failed on the install. The Note 4 and the Gear S seem to be communicating okay via bluetooth (health stuff syncs, Gear S controls the music player on the note 4 Etc. )

Everything that I had installed previously on the gear S still works.
Everthing while in the gear manager seems to be working okay also. I can make changes in the Gear manager on the note 4 and they show up on the gear S. I have an app called watch styler , it let me create a new watch on the Note 4 and that showed up on the Gear S.
The only thing that seems to be not working is installing new apps.
When trying to get a new app it looks like it is working as normal , the dowload shows it is working but it errors out when it goes to install it.

Apps not installing! 'Installation fail'

I just installed to creative cloud, I followed all the steps to the Applicaion manger but the apps won't install, It gets right to the end of the installation the last thing it says was 'extracting' before it said 'installation fail' in yellow warning writing! What do I do? Does anyone know what is wrong? If so how can I fix the problem?

We can't know anything. You are not providing any system info. Extraction failures could have all sorts of causes from running out of disk space to permissions issues to otehr tools interfering...
