Apps listener and Discoverer problem

Hi All,
I have installed Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 in RHEL4. After installing, i have verified the URL and i am able to login and getting forms also. But when i checked
ps -ef|grep lsnr , oracle listener is running. But apps listener is not running.

App Store and Download problems - Help If Possible :(

Hiya. I am New. Sorry for delving straight in for help, but I don't know what I have done here, and I hope someone can help me rectify my problem. I received my BB last week and set it all up - working fine. A colleague of mine directed me to the App Store, and I downloaded that via the handset with no problems. I was able to download the FB, some themes and a dictionary app via the store and was able to access it just fine. Yesterday, I tried to install some new apps and themes via the Desktop Manager, and now the App Store has dissapeared from my handset. I tried to re-download it via my BB and it says something like 'Sorry, this device does not meet the requirements to download App store' and I cannot download any Apps at all. FB and Dictionary are still there, but the themes I tried to put on via DM are not. I removed battery and memory card, and tried again but still get the same message. I tried to put App store back via the DM. It says it was loaded successfully but its not in the handset. I deleted all the themes I had originally downloaded from app store in the hope something was causing a corruption in the handset software but that hasn't worked either. I haven't installed any updates (to my knowledge) and the contract plan i have with my provider doesn't impose any limits to my usage as I have opted for the unlimited package (Tesco Mobile) I can't understand how last week I was able to download and use App store just fine, but now it is saying my handset doesn't support it, and I can't download or install any new Apps, Games or Themes via the desktop manager either. Sorry for rambling on, but I was really happy with my new BB, and now I am afraid i have unwittingly bricked it! Any advice gratefully received! TIA

You can change the settings in Security & Privacy to "Anywhere"...
That should work... as to whether the printer driver will work, that's another question.

Need help solving listener and Oracle problems with Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger"

I have Oracle 10g working on Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" except for the listener and Oracle net 8 configuration. I have not been able to get the Oracle listener to work with my built in Mac Airport wireless network card or built in ethernet card. I keep getting the errors
connection refused cannot start listener. Can anyone offer help?

App Crash and Hang Problem

My App is already on store. It is 'File Locker' named App. It is for Windows store 8.1 only.
Users are complaining that the App crashes and so they loose their files. They are not able to open/see the locked files anymore in the App. Some Can't even see the main page of the App after crash.
These are some failure names I got from App dashboard:
APPLICATION_HANG_ACTIVATION
CLR_EXCEPTION_System.IndexOutOfRangeException
CLR_EXCEPTION_SYSTEM.UNAUTHORIZEDACCESSEXCEPTION
Can anyone please tell me what should I do in order to fix these issues?
As in my PC, the App is running fine,without any problem.
And According to the reviews and rating, I found out that the App is working fine with some while others are getting hell of the issues.
Please give suggestions.

Per my understanding, the windows dashboard may has a channel to get the crash dump. Try getting it and use tool to analyze this dump file. See how to analyzing crash reports in windows store app.

App store and Youtube problems

Hello, I have a 2g iPod touch which I have started having problems with the last week or so. I can open the app store, browse through all the apps and view them. I can access my iTunes account, but when I press the updates tab in app store, it comes up with the message "cannot connect to itunes". Also when I try to download an app, it won't download, it just appears and says "waiting..."
I also have the problem with the YouTube app. I cannot view any of the tabs at the bottom. It just comes up with the loading screen and then says cannot connect to youtube. I can access the YouTube website through Safari but when I try and play a video it says the video cannot be played.
I have updated to the latest software (3.1.3) tried restarting, and restoring my iPod but nothing seems to work. It could be a problem with my Wi-Fi or internet, but I couldn't access the app store at my friends house, using his Wi-Fi either.
Anybody had the same problem or got any suggestions as to how to solve it?

If you read my post I mentioned that I restarted (turn on and off) and reset (restored to defaults), I have the latest software 3.1.3 and I have reset the network settings.

10.1.2 App Server and Discoverer

I'm attempting to install and configure Discoverer. I have installed the 10.1.2 Infrastructure successfully. As I read the docs for Installing the MidTier, I run into confusion. in part 7 of the Oracle Application Server (10.1.2) Quick Installation Guide, titled Installing Portal and Wireless or Business Intelligence and Forms Developer Topology. It claims that I will have a Business Intelligence and Forms option on the Installation Type screen. Well, this is not true. I have the following options after I choose Mid Tier: J2EE & Web Cache and Portal and Wireless. I don't have a BI & Forms option. Now, I did put the 3 cd's of BI on the machine in assuming that I will need them.
Do I need to install J2EE & Web Cache OR Portal and Wireless from the App Server Disk, or do I just need to install Bus. Intelligence from the 3 BI cd's? The documentation seems to have been a quick copy/paste from a previous version with pieces/steps missing. Thanks in advance,

Album app crashes and other problems

I have my Z1 Compact for about 3 months now and I am countering bugs that effect the most basic uses of the phone.
- First the Album app crashes everytime I go to "Folders" it been like that before the latest update, and afterwards.
- The screen proximity sensor is not doing it's job. While I'm on a call sometimes my face touches different button like airplane mode, or while I'm getting a call and the phone is in my pocket my thigh touchs buttons and answer to calls.
- The favorite contact tab sometimes is blank, although I do have favorites.
- The Message app is slow and if I don't wait for it to complete sending a message and I go to the home screen, the app keeps it as draft although the message was sent..
- Camera sometimes freeze but that's been discussed enough.
- Other apps get stuck and crash sporadicaly.
I have to say that my 3 years old iphone 4 had less bugs, so its really hard for me to say I upgraded my smartphone.
Sony better do something about your own apps, because this phone doesn't worth the price and has many compatitors.

Since last version the Album cannot play gif. properly. Some image have enlarge and some pixels crack in both thumbnail preview and actual view . But the Favorite preview play just fine till I tapped to view and the same problem accure.
So I gave up on new version and back to factory version which kind of irritating....
Anyway I waited for this latest version. In this version the thumbnail preview look fine but when tapped to see the gif.still cannot played.
This doesn't make any sense

Since upgrading my Mac OS 10.9 and Mavericks, I am unable to open App Store and other problems.

My computer has gone haywire since upgrading to Mac OS 10.9 and adding Mavericks. Mail was a big problem with my not being able to read messages, but now there has been a mail upgrade to solve that. However, still cannot open App Store from my Dock and cannot open Software Update from the apple menu. Lots of other screwy things going on and Apple seems of no help to try and resolve these issues. Anyone with similiar problems or issues?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

App Store And Billing problems

I have a problem. When I try to make a purchase on the app store, It tells me i have changed my account information and need to update my billing information. How do i do that??? I have looked under my account information and i can't seem to find where i need to make the adjustments.

App syncing and update problem

Please, explain me why a single app (for instance D8 or D17, just installed from the store) can prevent to sync or update iOS 8.
Itunes is stucked with the message "Waiting for changes to be applied".
It's a real pain to establish which app causes this problem.

I have exactly the same problem... Two weeks to restore my backup and to synchronize...
I have disable D17 and all works perfectly !

Help: YouTube app Search and sort problem

Hi,
I have problem with the YouTube app. I know there is a search feature, I found the magnifying glass. However, I have 3 problems.
1.) Search Problem: It won't search everything on YouTube. I tried seaching, many results would come up from PB's web brower, but it would NOT on the app. So, what's the point of the app?
2.) After finding the video, the app does not allow me to find/list "video by the same author" or "related video", the "related videos" are not so close "related" compare the web version.
3.) When press on the "info" buttom on the app. The author's describing and format are off. or not display completely..
Would someone please tell me if there will be a fix? or how to fix it?

IPhone 5 app store and update problems! Please help!

Okay so I have a iPhone 5 and all my software is up to date. I'm not able to download or update any of my apps. Whenever I press on update, it asks to enter my apple id password and after I do, it stalls for a few seconds and then says "update" again. It does the same thing when I try to downlaod a new app. My apple I.d and password are both correct. This has been going on for several days and I honestly have tried just about everything. I've turned off my phone, made sure my restrictions were off, ect. Pleeease help, it would be greatly appreciated

Reset the device instead of simply restarting it.
If that doesn't work, pick one of the apps that is least important to you. Delete it. Then try to redownload it.

DSP App deployment and log4j problem

Hi:
We've found that bea/weblogic81/common/lib/log4j.jar has to be in the weblogic starting script in order to deploy DSP application successfully. However, this log4j provided by weblogic conflicts with another version of log4j used by other applications running on the same weblogic instance.
Is there any workaround to avoid the need of putting log4j in the starting script for DSP app deployment?

ProC app. compiling and link problem

Created a Pro*C application called "sample1.pc". Compiled to a get object file ("sample1.o"). Created a library using this object file as follows:
ar -v -q libshr.a sample1.o
Wrote a main.c application making a call to one of the extern functions which accesses Oracle through Pro*C calls.
When I compile and link to my library, I get the following error.
