Apps not authorised for ipad

My iPad first generated crashed last night and I had to do a restore this morning. When trying to put apps back on it, I get a 'This machine is not authorised' message even though I'm using the same machine as always. The apps are Keynote, Numbers and iBooks. I've authorised the machine again but I says it's already authorised. Looks as though I'll need to buy the apps again unless any suggestions....

Were those apps originally downloaded via that account - if you do 'Get Info' (control-I) on them on your computer's iTunes what account name shows on the right-hand side of their Summary tab ?
You could also try re-downloading them directly on the iPad via the Purchased tab at the bottom of the App Store app. Or delete them from your computer's iTunes and re-download them on there (re-downloading) - though you may want to check first whether they appear in your purchase history.

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.

Building ios Newsstand App with AS3 for iPad?

Hi,
How do I build an IOS newsstand App with AS3 for iPad? I will not need any updates for this app. It will be just a pdf magazine inside, same contents forever.
I cant find any tutorials/introduction on how to build this.
I get the idea on how to create normal ios App, but creating Newsstand App really confussed me.

Have a look at this newsstand app tutorial that's in 2 parts. This is for native iOS however the packaging is the most important.

The in-app subscription is something you're going to have to tackle. Are you selling this magazine on a subscription basis? If you are selling it, things can get tricky or possible. I'm not fluent on the latest in-app purchase integration or if there is any planned integration. A look on the ANE download page (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/native-extensions-for-air.html) doesn't show any ANE support for it. You could google around for an ANE that supports in-app subscriptions of course.

Please be sure to read the entire 2 articles listed above. I realize they do not strictly have to do with Adobe but they do outline the process of getting an app on newsstand and it's just up to us as developers to translate tutorials like that into our world.

HT4009 In-app purchases (non-consumable) cannot be transferred from Ipad 2 to Ipad Air. I tried this for an app called Calculator for iPad Free.

On my iPad2 I made an in-app purchase to get rid of ads in an app called Calculator for iPad Free.
The ads free version works great on my iPad2. When I bought an iPad Air I restored all aps and music from my iCloud.
The app Calculator for iPad Free has reverted back to the version with ads. Attempts to restore from iCloud, iTunes and backups have all resulted in the version with ads.
It appears that non-consumable in-app purchases cannot be transferred. To make matters worse, the in-app purchase price has doubled since I bought it in 2011.
Good for Apple, not so good for the consumer.

Problem solved. Just made the in-app purchase a second time and received a note indicating that I had already purchased this app and could download again for free.
Unfortunately, no one at Apple Support knew that. Frustrating, but all is well now.

Why is the app not available for my device?

I've no problem using BT wifi on my device (Nook BNTV400) so why is the app not available for that device? It's not like the nook is proprietory, everything else I've tried to find in the play store works fine.
Is the apk available for download direct from bt?

if you can connect to btwifi without the app then I wouldn't bother trying to find the apk file
if you have an android smartphone then you can download the app and get the apk file to sideload on to your nook

You didn't buy an 'unlocked' iPhone 3GS - you bought a 'hacked' one.
Updating to iOS 5 removed the hack and the unofficial unlock.
All you can do is try to find out which network the phone is locked to and ask them if they can unlock it properly.
Otherwise, sell it or throw it away and buy an officially unlocked phone from an official source.

Marking not authorised for period 08

Dear Experts,
When we do marking for all the material in a plant, I am getting the message CK 701 "marking not authorised for period 08 2009 for company code xxxx". there is no problem with user authorisation and the period is also opened from FI side and also from MM side. What could be the other reasons for this error. Can any one please suggest on this at the earliest.

You have to provide Allowance for marking periodically . Without which you can never be able to Mark and relase the Standard cost estimates. You have to carry out this in Costing run or Mark / relase cost estimate transactions ( CK40N / CK24 ).

No.
The iCloud services require 10.7.5, or higher.

BT App not showing on IPad

I have installed BT Sport on my IPad but since upgrading to ios7 I can't see it. I can open it from the App Store so I know it works but can't find it on the iPad! Any ideas?

I have spoken to our product/technical contact for the app and they have responded with the below advice, I know you say you have already tried the power off function but might be worth another go? the product/technical team believe this is an issue with the update to IOS7 rather than the sport app.
The team have also said that other users on the apple community are experiencing similar issues after the update to IOS7, but with other apps, not BTSport.
If the user tries swiping down on their screen to bring up the spotlight search and searches for BTSport I’m sure they will find the app there, however this does not show where it exists on the device.
I’d suggest the user then tries a reset of their device by holding down the power button until the slide to power off button appears. Once powered off they should switch back on and this should hopefully then show the app.

Computer not authorised for syncing with iPhone with IOS 7

Unable to sync iPhone 4S (with IOS 7) to my PC. Error message is that computer not authorised. Have tried all on-line steps to rectify. e.g. Control Panel User settings.
Anybody have any clues on this problem?

That definitely sounds frustrating! Let's give this a go to see if we can isolate the issue futher:
First, connect your device and choose the "Music" tab. Next, uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes (so there is ultimately no music syncing to your iPhone).
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

IOS 8.02 guided access not working for Ipad 2

Will the next update for iOS 8 fix the issue for guides access for Ipad 2? Issue; function not working at all. And when will this update come?
We have now tried everything we can think of. Reset settings, totale factory reset etc. This doen both on the Ipad and thorugh iTunes.
For us the Ipad got useless with iOS 8 as we us it as a visitor kiosk using the app SIGN IN. We really regret updating.... please fix asap

I can confirm that this works on 3rd Generation iPads. But not 2nd Generation iPads. I have found that if Guided access was enabled prior to the upgrade it might reset in this process.
Turn off Guided Access in Accessibility / Settings.
Hard reboot. (Hold Home and Lock buttons for 7 seconds)
Turn on Guided Access in Accessibility / Settings. Reset Passcode.
Anyone have luck with a newer model?

After Update apps not working on iPad 2 64 GB

I had just updated my iPad to Version 5.1.1. During the update iTunes had automatically made a backup of my apps and restored them when the update was complete... When I tried to launch the apps not even 1 was working... I restarted my iPad several times but no luck... Please help me....

Try this next.
Go to Settings>Store >Apple ID, tap your ID and sign out. Then reboot the iPad, Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Then go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if the apps will work.
If that doesn't work, try syncing with iTunes on your computer.
Make sure that you are signed into the correct Apple ID on the iPad as well.

My Music App not avail for iCloud?

I just noticed my storage selections for the iCloud does not include the MyMusic App. Ive tried everything and cant figure out why. Even bought 10GB more storage space thinking it was the size of my music. Anybody have this issue and a solution?

Try basic troubleshooting steps. Close the music app and reset the iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

My app (GUI Designer for iPad) is crashing, how should I fix this problem?

I use this app, and sometimes it crashe when I click some buttons.

Here are the steps I take when an app misbehaves. If the first step doesn't work I go to the next.
1. Quit the app and try it again. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
2. Quit the app and then reset the device. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. 3. Quit the app and then delete it. Then reset the iPad and download a fresh copy of the app. To delete an app tap an hold on it until it begins to jiggle and display an X. Tap the X and confirm that you want to delete the app. You can download a new copy of the app without paying for it again as long as you are using the same Apple ID that you used when you first downloaded the app.
4. If none of the above work contact the developer of the app to find out if they are aware of the problems and whether an update will be offered soon.

This is a user forum, so pleading to Apple here is not worth the effort.
I assume that the Apple logic is that iMovie is made to edit video shot on the device.
That is what it's made for, that is what they sell it for.
At no time as Apple said it is for the iPad1, or for editing external video.
I can see how editing video on the ipad1 is much nicer and bigger then the iphone or iPod, and also that you can copy video to the iPad via the camera connection kit.
But iMovie is really as basic as editors come, and it is really intended as a shoot, cut, and run editor.
If you really want to edit video, and not just throw it together and add some cheap flashy graphics (iMovie iOS), then you should buy a better iOS edit program.
No-one, not even Apple, is stopping you buying a program for the ipad that does what you want.
iMovie was never advertised as being for iPad1, or to edit video shot on another device.
So in my opinion your asking for a different program then iMovie is.
Apple isn't dictation what you iPad can't do, but they have released a program that you can't use.
By your argument we could all get angry that Apple doesn't let us run FCP on the iPad, or why you can't run facetime on your camera less iPad.
You want an app that edits video, buy one.
Don't moan that a program that is not made for your device should be made to work because you think you deserve it.
