Apps not going back onto my phone
I had bought a few apps a few months ago and I updated my phone and they all got erased. But they are still on my itunes and will not transfer to my phone. And, when I go to the Apps store it wants me to buy them again. Why wont they transfer to my iphone? And, why do I have to buy them again?
What have you tried to get them on your iphone?
Are they compatible with the new software on your iphone?

Upgrading the OS does not remove your apps and purchases. -
Since updating my fiance's phone to iOS 5.0.1 all of his apps are sitting on his phone "waiting" to install fully. I have tried to sync it a few times, and no luck. When he upgraded, it was using his Itunes account on someone else's computer (he was out of town on business). Is that why we're having an issue? How do I get this corrected? Not having a fully operational iphone is no fun!
Thanks!I Definitely considered that, but the same exact thing happened with another app of mine before this. I didn't think much of it and assumed it was just a bad connection, but every other app worked. It was my parents wifi that my family guy app would get stuck and stay on the loading screen, but every other app I had had no trouble connecting to the wifi. Mine and my boyfriends wifi is the one that the pool app gets stuck on the loading screen, but everything else works. I mean the apps that are having trouble connecting work perfectly on 3G, but I have limited data so I can't use it all the time. It feels like the two situations are too similar to just be a coincidence, but I can't think of anything it could be.

Everytime i sync my phone the music goes back onto my phone
it seems every time i sync my phone all the music i deleted comes back and i cant delete it off my itunes!!
it have 4 options
1. sync the slave (the ios device) with what it is set to sync with from the master(itunes lib) until you change the sync settings in itunes
2. it could say hey this is syncronize so since the song was deleted on the ios device it should be deleted on the itunes lib too and then delete your data
3. same as 2 but it ask your if it should delete every single song it's not sure about
4. say sync bah! the 2 sides can stay as they see fit delete or add see If I care
think it does 1 because it makes the least number of people unhappy and since you can just connect the ios device to the computer navigate to the ios device and set it to not sync that music anymore no sweat thats likely why they did it that way -
last night when i downloaded the new ios5 software for my ipone 3gs. when it was syncing after the software was done downloading, there was a error, and my apps or music were not transfered back onto my phone. how do i get that stuff back on my phone without having anything deleted.
If you are not showing any of your purchased music under that tab you were probably signed in on a different Apple ID account on the computer you synced with (is the the computer you normally sync with) and it has changed the User ID on your phone. Go to Settings > Store, log out whatever account it shows then log back in with your account.

ahh! .I restored my iphone recently and put all my music back onto my phone that day and it was fine but last night i was putting someother music on got an error music on. I got an error message about not being able to sync and now ALL my music has GONE. deos anyone know why this would have happened?

Hi, I have a new cell phone, I wanted to give my iphone to my father, instead of deleting the content on the iphone I have deleted the entire iphone. It starts up no more. iTunes will not recognize the iphone. How do I get my old data back onto the phone?
Place the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore as new.

I had a few storage issues to start with, I basically deleted everything in my phone (media, messages, notes, calanders, apps etc) and my phone still said it was at capacity. The more I deleted the less I could put on there. So I took it the the Apple Store where the manager told me to do a Restore. I did this, then was unable to put the backup straight back onto my phone as it said there was not enough free space (it was empty!), I then called Apple Support who instructed me on how to view the size of the backup and it turned out to be 16.32GB (.32GB larger than the iPhones's capacity) but were unable to give me any useful tips! I downloaded a backup extractor but have no idea how to use it! Please help me

Hi, I have just tried to sync my iphone with my computer. I must have clicked the wrong thing, now all the songs i purchased through my phone from itunes were replaced with the itunes that was on my computer, which is nothing. Any ideas on how can i get them back onto my phone or computer? I can see them in the itunes store under purchases, but there are no options for me to download them again.

I just figured out how to restore contacts from icloud....
Try this if you already have the contacts tab turned on in iclouds on ur phone settings:
Go to icloud.com - contacts
bottom left hand corner is the gear icon which is settings - then select all
This selects all your contacts then go to export as tv card or something like that
A window pops up asking u to save - save onto ur computer where u can access easily
go to ur email, compose new email & attach the saved contact list that u just saved onto ur computer
on ur phone open mail, then open ur email with the attached contacts
open the attached contacts - at the top it will say ' add all contacts' select that
then it will pop up 'create as new contacts' or 'merge contacts'
i selected create as new contacts as iphone 4 deleted all my contacts from my phone
after a while it downloaded all my contacts back onto my phone which I double checked by entering the contacts app from my iphone
so happy i got all my contacts back yay! i had over 400!!! -
