Apps not installing to iPhone

I backed up my iPhone 5 with all of my information from my iPhone 4 but my apps haven't installed, I press on the apps to install and it says 'Will Install' but I'm still not getting them on my phone. Any Help? By the way, I'm using ITunes iOs 10.7.5.

After you double click the home button you swipe up on the app screenshot.

  • TS1702 What to do when you get "iTunes library app not installed on iPhone; app could not be found"

What to do when you get "iTunes library app not installed on iPhone; app could not be found". None of the Apple suggestions fix the problem. For example, with Animoto, one of the problem apps, I have removed it, reinstalled it, and still get the eoor message.

    Of course.
First of all, this started when an external drive i was using died on me. I have no doubt that these apps indeed are off my system. I figure between the apps I've bought for myself and my kid, I have about 150 apps.
    Now. The issue.
When I sync my iPad with iTunes on my desktop, it goes through normally until it gets to the apps. When that happens, it get an error box that reads "Some of the apps in your iTunes library were not installed on the iPad because one or more errors occurred. For a list of appps that could not be installed, click on the triangle below."
Then I get a list of apps.
(Added note to any iTunes developers out there: The titles of the apps in this list do not always match the titles of the apps in the App Store. For example, one was called "MuseumGame" on my iPad. It's called "Museum of Thieves" on the App Store. I started out with a list of 60 apps. It was a major pain to track them all down. It would be nice to have everything the same so I can use the App Store search more effectively.)
    Anyway, moving on....
The error message stops my sync until I dismiss it. That, honestly, is what makes this whole thing annoying enough to seek out an answer. I can't let my iPad start syncing and walk out of the room. Yeah. I know. First World problems.
Once I dismiss the error, the sync continues and all is well.
I did the following to try to fix the problem. Mostly, I did a lot of searches:
My list of purchased apps on my iPad both using the search box and by going to every page
Searched the main App Store on my iPad using the search field. When that didn't work, I used wider searches and just scanned the page(s) for the little cloud icon that showed I had purchased the app.
I got on my desktop iTunes and searched the apps from there (without a lot of hope, but trying to be complete)
At that point, I came to the conclusion that a small number of the apps are no longer available on the App Store.
Fine. I didn't want them anyway.
I got into iTunes and went to the Apps page. None of the errant apps showed up there. I searched the iTunes help files. Nothing. I crossed my fingers, said a little prayer to the search engine gods, and tried Google. I found some things that sort of matched but they basically boiled down to "re-download the app from the App Store" or "Restore your iPad".
So I spent a couple of hours restoring my iPad. I got the error message again. I hit Google again and came up with this thread. It was as close to my problem as I found.
I think that brings us up to date.
My fundamental problem is that I seem to have found a scenario where if you have to restore apps (because, perhaps, your external drive died) and some of the apps are no longer available for download, there is an error generated that can not be permanently dismissed.
    Did I miss anything important?

  • Apps not installing on iphone

I posted yesterday, and my post is "gone." I hope apple responds to me rather than just deleting my posts...
    I get the message that:
(appname) will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer.
However, I have logged in. I have synced. I have tried again. Yet, I can still not get the apps on the iPhone.
I get this error if I am installing a new app or if the iPhone tells me an update is available to an app that works and is already installed on my iPhone.
    ARG!
I now have icons for the "old" non-updated apps AND icons for the "new" updated apps on my iphone. one works (old non-updated), and the "new" one just gives me the same error message...
    Any solution??
    Is there a solution?

After syncing (three times), uninstalling the "offending" apps, reinstalling the apps, they show up on the iPhone. I really hope I won't have to keep doing this every time I have to update... I don't always carry my computer around on trips. o think I can't update or install new apps unless I have my computer with me is going to be a bother...

  • App not installed on iphone b/c unknown error 0xE800002E - caused by dups?

I have had trouble for days updating various iPhone apps from iTunes and I have tried several approaches, none working. The message from iTunes was:
The application "AIM" was not installed on the iphone "AWOLFEII" because an unknown error occurred (0xE800002E).
I could use the apps on my phone, so I let it go. And one of my key Apps (SplashID!) wouldn't update. Then more apps started failing update. So I really needed to do something.
I decided to try the "delete apps on iphone" approach before I did an entire restore.
I deleted the known trouble apps from the phone, then shut it down and restarted.
ONE OF THE DELETED APPS WAS STILL ON MY IPHONE.
    I deleted it AGAIN.
Then the apps ALL updated successfully.

    It seems not...
It is really disappointing. I bought this iPhone 3G because I really needed a mobile device with such amazing features. Now I am spending hours and hours just keep it working. I have no time for this.
Deleting the applications and resync works fine for simple tools. If you delete YouNote for example and resync you get your app back up and running but you loose all saved data. Wow, I really start to hate my iPhone for all the trouble.
I don't know how many bugs apple has to fix, that they don't even manage such a really (I mean REALLY) big issue like updating the software on your iPhone.
Like I said: disappointing in any way...

    Hi...
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed  then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

  • IPhone 5 Apps not installing

Received an iPhone 5 on Friday. I performed an iCloud restore from a recent backup. All apps that were part of the backup installed properly (eventually), however any new apps, as well as updates to existing apps, do not install. They all hang on "waiting".
Deleting the hung app and rebooting the phone does not solve the issue.
I also noticed that under iCloud, the phone was still sitting at "restoring" after 3 days. Cancelling the restore did not solve the issue either.
    Thoughts?

Try doing this----It MIGHT just solve your problem, as it did mine.
I had apps which were purchased on my iPhone 5. I uninstalled several apps to free up some space a few days back. Suddenly, a few hours ago it wasn't letting me install some old purchased apps. It infact categorised many of these apps under the 'Not on this device' tab under Purchases. Then I realised as I had got a new debit card and cancelled the old one, the payment info was still linked to my cancelled debit card. So as a security measure I was not able to download the apps which now according to the payment terms 'belonged to someone else'. So I just went into the app store in my settings----->apple id------>payment info----->modified this.
Restarted the iPhone and voila, it linked back perfectly to my iCloud backup of purchases!!!
    Hope this helps.

  • Apps not installing or updating

When I am away from my computer and want to upgrade an app, I go to the App Store and do the regular thing. I enter my password and the app starts installing but in the middle of it, it stops and there is no more installation bar. It just sits there doing nothing. What is going on with that? This happens to all the apps. Also, in iTunes, when I want to upgrade and app and sync it with the iPhone it comes up with Error 0xE800002E. The iPhone firmware i have is 2.1.1 and the iTunes version is 8.1.0.52 Any help from anyone would be much appreciated!

I tried to deauthorize and reauthorize my iTunes. I then tried to sync my iPhone. It sync everything else (calendars, contacts, etc.) but not the apps. It came up with the Error 0xE800002E. Again, I am running iPhone firmware 2.2.1 with Windows Vista. Any help would be appreciated because this is getting annoying.
