  • Many apps not working after upgrade

I have a lot of apps not working after upgrade even apple's remote, splash id etc... Anyone else or is it just me?

I had trouble with MPR, but since it's free, I just deleted it and reloaded it directly from the App store onto the phone. It had an upgrade, too, that must have clashed with the 2.2 upgrade. Once I did the download, it was fine.

  • Facebook images do not load after upgrading to 6.0. What to do?

After upgrading to Firefox 6.0 my Facebook images will not open. I see a white box with a frame but after clicking on it a totally black square opens up instead a photo. All is OK when using IE9. (Also, the same with Twitpics on Twitter.)

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
    See:
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
    * Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
    * Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
    * Check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
    * Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
    * Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
    * Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
    * Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
    * Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
    * If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • [SOLVED] Modules not loaded after upgrade linux (3.9.5-1 - 3.11.6)

Hi. After upgrading the package linux from 3.9.5-1 to 3.11.6,
many modules such as wifi or psmouse are not loaded.
My PC is Asus Zenbook UX31E.
If I do by hand like
    # modprobe ath9k
    # modprobe psmouse
    wifi and psmouse are OK,
but I want to set all necessary modules auto loaded.
    * Output of lsmod of linux 3.9.5-1 was 87 rows
but lsmod of 3.11.6 (I attache below) is only 39 rows.
    * Both
    /etc/modprobe.d/
    /etc/modules-load.d/
are empty on 3.9.5-1 and 3.11.6.
    Please give me advice, thx.

  • Apps not loading after 3.0 update

Please help... My iPhone will not load any apps after the update. I have tried re-syncing, and even deleting and re-installing them but nothing will work. When I click on the apps they start to load but then it exits out of it. This happens to all of them. Please help because I am stuck and nothing seems to work.

My 16GB iPhone 3G has been running 3.0 fine since last week. Now suddenly today all the app store apps quit back to the springboard screen a second or two after they launch. Built-in apps work fine still.
This started after I was on a call, and switched to a purchased app while on the call. I got the green 'touch here to return to call' bar across the top of the screen. After a few minutes the other party hung up the call, while I was still in the app. Then there was nothing I could do to get rid of the green bar, short of resetting the phone. Ever since that, 3rd party apps crash on launch.
I am trying resetting the phone to see if it helps.

  • Mail.app not running after upgrading to 10.10.3

After upgrading to 10.10.3 I have been unable to launch Mail.app. It either shuts down automatically or after aprox. 5 seconds.
I am attaching the error message I get. Any help would be much appreciated.
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3701227/Mail.app%20Error.rtf
(This website wouldn't let me post this with the error inline, probably due to its length)

Mail is still terrible on my now 10.10.3 iMac, but it is NOT working (gives no content at all for my 14 accounts) on my MacBook Pro with 10.10.2 (worked as on the iMac before I upgraded to 10.10.3.
On my iPhone 6 128GB with 8.3 also Mails has started to reject. Everything works OK if I check emails in Safari.
Apple has since 10.10 had a huge Mail-problem. And they are not addressing it, nor fixing it.

  • [solved] TV card not loaded after upgrade to kmod

After the upgrade to mkinitcpio and kmod replacing module-init-tools, my TV card (Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S) is not loaded.
Downgrading mkinitcpio and re-installing module-init-tools and regenerating my initramfs and all is well.
Is there any extra setup needed with kmod? There are no man files in the kmod package so I'm at a loss what to do.
Incase it helps, here are (maybe not all) the modules related to my tv card when downgraded:

Yes - initramfs regenerated after each upgrade and downgrade.
Forgot to mention I was also suffering from the 'Filename too long' FS#27862 and your updated kmod in that bug's comments fixed that. I'm guessing that my issue is unrelated.
With both kmod packages, initramfs complains that /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf doesn't exist, but I've never added anything in there anyway and the kmod package doesn't contain that file.

  • Mail not working after upgrading to Lion

I have recently upgraded to Lion and my Mail program will not open. I get a message that says that "You can't use this version of Mail with this version of Mac OS X. You have Mail 4.5".  I would have thought that Lion would have installed the latest verion of Mail. I have tried reinstalling Lion and I get the same result. What do I do to correct this?

I am pleased to say I was able to resolve the issue. The problem was the Lion installation did not replace the Shortcuts on the desktop. These shortcuts were linked to the older Mail program. The same was the case with my Address book.  I deleted the shortcuts on the desktop and then created shortcuts to the updated programs that were in the Applications folder. Now they all work.

  • Bash commands not working after upgrade to Lion

After upgrade, many BASH commands not working. For example, such a fundamental thing as "ls".
    iMac20:bin a$ ls
Launch of "ls" failed: the PowerPC architecture is no longer supported.
What does it have to do with PowerPC? My computer is 2.66 GHz Inter Core Duo

    Linc,
    iMac20:~ a$ which ls
    /sw/bin/ls
Also, I managed to look (using tcsh's ls-F command) into the contents of /usr/. Here's what I see there:
    [iMac20:/bin] a% ls-F
[*          csh*        echo*       ksh*        mkdir*      rcp*        stty*       wait4path*

  • Photo booth video effects not recording after upgrade to Lion

I recently upgraded from s.leopard to Lion. Photobooth is working perfectly with the leopard until upgraded to lion, the video effects could not be used and recorded. It only appears in 1 sec when video recording.
I have done the following already according to the forums I read.
    1. the 32 bit mode is not ticked.
    2. disk utility permissions.
and still not working. Any advise? Thanks

The same Lion-problem here. Everything looks just fine until I press record. Then the effect dissappears. I bought my 28" "BigMac" in february this year, and as the problem is mentioned about a year ago, it might be a major problem since no solution is mentioned anywhere.
So, if you guys see or hear (or smell) anything in the direction of a solution, drop a note.

  • Pogo Games won't load after upgrade to Lion

Upgraded to Lion recently.  Everything seems to be working okay, except that I play a lot of games on Pogo.com, and now none of the games will load.  I made sure everything (Java, etc) was up to date, but none of it fixed the problem.  I tried the games on both Safari and Firefox, and got the same result.  Any game I try to open just says "Now Loading (Name of Game)..." and that's all it does.
I went back to an older mac that is still running Snow Leopard, and the games loaded just fine. So I figured it was an issue with Lion.
BUT... on the Snow Leopard computer, I noticed I had an old version of Firefox installed, so I upgraded that to the newest version, and now Pogo games won't load on that either!  So, the problem isn't actually Lion.  It's the newest versions of the browsers.
I tried contacting EA (pogo) support, but their help page is completely useless.  I thought I'd check and see if anyone here has any ideas.
    thanks,
    Dan

I'm using Fouiny packages for a year (now it's cvs-20060621-1), as he provides ~all of them & they worked without issue ever since. Latest version's getting a bit old
EDIT : known problem with new openssl !
    Finally found it here http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=192536#192536

  • POA HTTP Monitor not loading after upgrade

I'm working on a migration/upgrade from gw8 to gw2014, all of the agents show started in the admin console but the http monitor screen will not load. I initially had a bad path to a certificate and have removed the certificate and it's path, turned off ssl and restarted the POA.
I'm still getting this though, when I try to access the POA (non ssl)
    GroupWise 2014 POA - PONAME
Status | Configuration | Environment | Log Files | Scheduled Events | MTP Status | Help
Web Console Access has been disabled due to error in loading SSL Certificate: [8209]
    Any assistance is appreciated.
    Dan

    Hi Laura,
Yes I have checked the poa startup file and it looks fine. It was a fresh install of GW2014 so there is only one poa file and it's located in the post office directory as well. Interestingly, it's the monitor screen of the domain that shows this wrong information when I click on 'Links' and then the PO link listed there. When I look at monitor in the PO, any of the path data in there shows correct. So it makes me believe the problem is on info stored in the domain - but maybe I'm wrong. Also, mail goes out just fine, but it fails coming in because the domain drops it in the old location and the post office tries to pick it up in the new location.

Just a quick suggestion... Have you checked your POA startup file to see if it has the wrong path set in there? Look at the top of the file for the "home" path.
Let us know how it goes.

  • Itunes library not loading after upgrading

Please help:  I had to upgrade my itunes when I plugged in my Iphone and now it won't sync.  No matter what I plug in (Ipad, Ipad2, Iphone or Ipod) the only thing that happens is the Iphotos will pop up and recognize that I have plugged in my device, but the Itunes does not load and sync.  I don't know if I did something wrong, put when it asked if I wanted to use Icloud I clicked no.  I don't know if that is my problem now or what. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it, as I am lost!
    Thanks, Debbie.

    johnc86,
Are you following the instructions from this article in the Apple Knowledge Base, in particular the renaming of the .itl file from the Previous Libraries folder?
