Apps not updating wrong incorrect email

Every time I go to update my apps an incorrect ID appears which isn't my correct email address. Even if I login with my correct one when I go to do an update the incorrect one appears?

- Are you saying that if when you go to Settings>Store and make sure  you are signed into your account, a different Apple ID is displayed when yur purchase a new app?
- If in iTunes and you right click on an app in your Library and select Ge Info, the iTunes account that purchased the app will be displayed in the Summary pane.

Turn off any auto-update, if it is on, then tap any of the "circle icons" showing that a download is in progress, in order to stop the download. Then go to the Settings and reset the Network Settings. After the iPad starts back up, then check to make sure no apps are currently in progress of downloading. If any are, stop them again, and reset the network settings again. When it starts up again, none should be in the process of downloading. Then from that point forward, only download manually and never more than two at a time. If it is more than 100 MB, then do only one at a time. If any gets stuck at that point, then stop the download and reset the Network settings.
That should take care of you for now. We'll see what another update brings ... IOS 8.2 (which might be the next one).

My iLife v9.03 Install disk is corrupt. Where can I find a download for the the app (not update) at apple support online ?

I have an iLife 11 disc that doesn't work very well so I tried creating a disk image of it with Disk Utility.  It took two tries but finally got a disk image that I could use to install the iLife 11 applications. Give it a try.

  • Has anyone else had trouble with apps not updating when you update through the app store?

I'm having trouble with GSN Games app not updating, even though the app store says that it's the most updated version.  Has anyone else experienced this?  My mother's app updated just fine with all the new features and games within the app, but mine didn't update the same.  We both have ipad2 running on ios 7.0.06.  I can't figure this out.  New games were added to the app that I'd like to play, but can't because of this.
Any suggestions before I contact the app developer?
Thanks so much for you help.

I frequently get my connection is to slow for play.
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
    Restart your iPhone.
    Try again.

  • Why do Apps not update after installing iOS6?  They just hang there!

WHy do apps not update after installing iOS6?

Each time? every day? Just plain crazy! Updates happen automatically on your mac....why not the same thing on ipad/iphone?
If the app was purchased on my phone with my account, surely they do not need to "verify" my credentials each time. If my phone was stolen and someone purchased a $20 app surely my $300 phone is more important?
They need to come up with e better solution...when we all have hundred or thousands of apps on our devices what then?

  • Apps not updating.  Stuck on "Waiting"

I saw that large thread that was started months ago about apps not updating, getting hung up on "Waiting" then saying "App X could not be updated at this time.  Done?  Retry?" and no matter what you select, you cannot update or even use that app.
Has this still not been fixed?  People were posting about this issue 5+ months ago.  Do I really need to download some 3rd party software like iExplore to fix this?
I tried all the basic things listed in that thread, but I cannot believe Apple hasn't addressed this.  Is there some new quick fix I'm missing?

Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Also, make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

  • Apps not updating during sync

    apps not updating during sync

It sounds like your iPad is sleeping or you lose your connection before the process completes.  Try plugging the iPad in to a power out and do the update.  Make sure you have a strong wifi signal.

  • I've updated my Macbook Pro and my iMac with Maverick, updating the various apps. On my Macbook, everything functions perfectly. On my iMac, I get the Your System has Run out of Application Memory, and it's based our Mail, the only app not updated. Ideas?

    Maverick and Your System message
I've updated my Macbook Pro and my iMac with Maverick, updating the various apps (Pages, Aperture, iPhoto, Numbers & iMovie, too) in the process.
On my Macbook, everything functions perfectly. On my iMac, I get the Your System has Run out of Application Memory message. But it's not Calendar, it's Mail that not only won't open, but when it does now, it takes the entire system out with it.
I open Safari, and it works. I open Firefox, and it works and Safari still works. I open Calendar and it works, Safari and Firefox continue to work. I open Reminders, and everything still works.
I open Aperture, and it opens Finder instead, showing the 3.5 update that was installed two days ago (and Aperture has functioned), but doesn't seem to update the app; after about 20 seconds the update disappears and I can now open Aperture and it shows I'm now opening the updated Aperture, which it didn't show before.
I click on Mail, and the cursor spins for ten minutes. The mail window finally opens, but the cursor spins and does not connect to upload new mail, and I finally Force Quit Mail. Since the Maverick update, even though Mail was not updated (and maybe because Mail was not updated), I have been able to receive emails twice, and then the program crashed.
Besides the Aperture app, Pages didn't fully update on the iMac, and I had to remove the old Pages icon from the dock after the new program loaded up from Applications.
    Any ideas?

  • Lumia 925 apps not updated Error:80060010

My wife's Lumia 925 does not update apps. In the store tile it shows number of pending apps, but when opening the store, I only can see adds of various apps. Sometimes get Error code 80060010. What's wrong?
I do not have similar problems with my own 1020.

Good day. Visit this link: I cannot download or update apps from Store and see if the workarounds will do the trick. The link may be intended for the US, but the content is applicable wherever your location is. Keep us posted. ;-)

  • Mail app not updating

When I set up mail on my new MacBook, all my email accounts had mail in the inbox. I've since logged into each account on the Internet to move or delete mail and my inboxes are clean. The mail app on the MacBook still shows the moved/deleted mail as unread messages in the inbox. How do i get the app to update so that all the moved/deleted mail no longer appears in the inbox?

I'm having exactly the same problem:   read/unread flagging inconsistencies via IMAP
    OS:  10.6.8
    mail: 4.5
    ipad2
I've trawled through loads of forums looking for an answer to this and I've yet to see a solution.  Our hosting people have suggesting switching to Gmail or some other mail client. Massively irritating. All our hardware is mac and IMAP is supposedly the way forward for integrated mail across multiple machines. But it's just not working properly.
    help!

    Please reply.

  • Why is my iMessage app not updating?

I have used (and LOVE) the iMessage app on my Macbook Pro.  Has worked perfectly, even through iOS7 upgrades, and the Mavericks update, as well.
However over the past few days, it will not update correctly.  I can send messages from it, but it does not show the incoming messages most of the time.  They come through just fine to my phone and iPad, but not on my Mac...  any thoughts as to why this is occurring?

Turns out that Feedburner was overruling the code in my XML with their "Smartcast" settings, which I have now disabled. Weird!

  • HT1688 iPhone 5S, Settings Cellular Use Cellular Data For Apps - Not Updating

I have iPhone 5S iOS 7.0.4 with AT&T Contractual Plan.
When I change any settings in Settings > Cellular > Use Cellular Data For to disable or enable apps to use cellular data. And, if I exit and enter again it shows the old settings.
Also Call Time > Current Period is not updating.
This is happening for last one week. I have also noticed heavy cellular data usage for last one week.
I have reset the phone as a new phone this it is solved, but if I restore from my backup, then the problem is returning again. Even I have deleted some apps, but it doesnot help.
Please help me to solve this.

Call AT&T - it seems they are forcing their own settings on you.

  • HTC Weather App not updating (diff issue-sync issue)

Okay so let start off by saying I have the 2.2 Froyo Software.
If you add a widget, theres is a widget called "sync all"; whether it is a new one from 2.2 I dont know but lets move on.  I have that widget on one of my screens.  Periodically I will hit that sync button because I refuse to have it enabled all the time for it to update on its own.
So we should all know that by sync'ing it updates: Backup Contacts/Twitter/Weather/News/Stocks and maybe more.
However after hitting that sync button, minutes on end my temperature is the same; my weather is not updated.
If you were to go into Settings>Accounts and Sync>scroll down to Weather and click it; it will say that the weather was in fact updated but the home screen widget is not updating.
Even if you were to manually update it via the settings/accounts and sync/weather and then click weather update, the status will say it has been updated but the homescreen widget will not budge.
I called HTC after talking to Verizon and HTC also had noted that it too wasnt updating for him either.
I am a user that has everything disabled. But while I await for replies, I will enable everything and start checking things off one by one to see which thing it needs to function.
I dont have Background Data Enabled
I turn off Bluetooth-Wifi-and all locations.
OH and PS: if I go into the weather app and choose the update from that screen; YES it will change temperatures and weather but not by performing a sync.
Again HTC noted the same issue; thought it was a software glitch but last time I called them on this issue was well over a month + ago
Has anyone else noted the same thing?  Thanks

the background data needs to be checked in order for the weather to update once you perform a sync; everything else you can leave unchecked

  • App not updating: RunePDF

I receive a notice on A (for Apps) and there is an update for RunePDF. I click on update and here is the message I receive: "You have updates available for other accounts. Sign in to your email address to update applications for that account." I only have one account and no other. I had this problem with another app I owned: FaxDocument- after several weeks the app finally "updated". If I am buying apps from the store, whether for free or money, I would expect Apple to provide "support" for this type of issue. What now?

Please try each of the following steps you haven't already taken, until the issue is resolved. After each step, relaunch the App Store and try again.
    1. Follow the instructions in this Apple Support article.
    2. If any App Store purchases were made under a different Apple ID, or if the bundled iLife applications were accepted under a different ID, sign in to the App Store with that ID to update.
    3. Alternatively, delete the probem applications and re-download them with the ID you're using now. If you haven't already purchased them with that ID, you'll have to do that first, because purchases can't be transferred from one account to another. Any copy of an app that is indexed by Spotlight, including copies you have forgotten or never knew of, could be causing the alert. Open a search window in the Finder and search This Mac for the name of the app.
    4. Select the Purchased tab in the App Store window. If you see an item in the list marked "You have 3 apps to accept," click Accept.
    5. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/adoption.plist
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
              Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu. A Finder window may open with a file selected. If it does, delete the selected file. You may be prompted for your login password.
    Then repeat step 4.
    6. Select
              Store ▹ View My Account
from the App Store menu bar, then select View hidden purchases. If you're trying to update any hidden purchases, unhide them.
    7. Launch iTunes and select
              Store ▹ Authorize This Computer
    from the menu bar.
    8. If you've moved any App Store apps out of the Applications folder, or into a subfolder, put them back. Never move or copy those applications. If you have backup copies of the apps on another volume, unmount it and try to update again.
    9. Contact Account and Billing Support.
