Apps now quickly quitting on me!!!!
so i installed the Beta for shapeshifter a yesterday which i thought was for the intel-macs,and also i installed candybar as well..now both apps work fine but now when i try to open photoshop,stuffit and maybe some other apps i havent tried yet..has anyone else had this issue..ive completely deleted anything to do with shapeshifter,i believe.but still having a problem with quitting?!?!?!??!
Do you use iPhoto? I have found that iPhoto, when opened prior to Photoshop (CS), causes Photoshop to crash out just before it's done loading. It looked like a random error to me, at first, until I figured out how to replicate consistently.
I'm only suggestin', maybe the new apps aren't the source of at least one of those errors.
For my part, however, I've been holding off on the Intel Shapeshifter until they get it out of beta...

If your app is approved by Apple, you plan on charging for the app and if the app is any good, you should cover the $99 cost and your time spent developing the app in no time. There are a number of stories regarding part time app developers for the iPhone and iPod Touch who ended up quitting their full time job in short order as a result of a successful paid app, which can probably be done with a marginally successful paid app with the numbers involved. It happens when I tap onto the "Get More", "Quick Form", "Dreamwork", Calendar" icon on the front of my printer panel.
What am I doing wrong?
Yes, I have you WiFi setup and tried ePrint via my iPhone. Everything works there.
I am using a Mac.

I suggest to setup a static I.P address on the printer regarding the proxy / app updating issue on the Photosmart 7520. Please follow the out lined steps in this Thread (ignore the title of the Thread) : Efax 7510 still won't work after turning off/on ePrint several times.
Let me know if the static I.P setting help you out at all.

I really need HELP with this so I can get my laptop working again to install new apps and get the updates to my apps?Fixed the problem by going to settings/store and logging out with apple ID. Then logged back in with password and updates, apps, and iTunes store seem to work ok now.

We had a MacBook Pro stolen from our home when we were out of town and I am pretty sure we never activated the LoJack type of function on it not sure if its called lojack but you get what I am saying is there any way we can activate such hardware/app now so we can possibly recover our laptop? Any one who can point us in the right direction that would be great and we would be very grateful. I have an iPad 2 and used old Apple ID for iBook app; now it wants to upgrade iBook but it is "stuck" on my old ID, yet I already created a new ID but it won't let me update the App. I have everything backed up on my MacBook so if I delete iBooks on my iPad and retrieve the App under my new ID and then sync with my MacBook, will I still have all of the books, etc.?
Your purchases are tied to your Apple ID. If you bought all of the books with the old ID then AFAIK you will have to continue to use that ID in order to continue to sync those books to the iPad.
You have to update the app with the old ID so I don't see how you could keep the books with the new ID. Maybe I am wrong about this, but someone else will chime in I'm sure and correct me if I am wrong. -
my husband and i both have iphones now! i purchased his first and put an apple acct on his phone .. when he downloads apps now, they show up on my phone, but not visa versa.. my question is how do i unsync our phones and get him his own acct.. although, my email addres is on his phone, i was just setting it up without thinking i would ever purchase one !!! please help...apparently it is easy, so i must be missing something !!
