Apps on iPhone 4 connect to iTunes and push notification after update ios6.1
I update ios 6.1 on iPhone 4 and every time turn Facebook or line apps pop up connect to iTunes and push notification
This definitely works and only takes a couple of minutes. There is no need for backing up or resetting your phone.
Go to Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings

hey guys i have a question,
so i have the same problem for two of my apps, one is biike race, and the other game is snap chat. so each time i open one of these games i repeatedly get the "connect to itunes for push notifications" box coming up, and im unable to play the game, and i have to click my home button multiple times to get back to the main screen. i dont understand why this is happening and maybe you could help me out.There are a few other threads in this forum regarding this issue. It appears to me that this was once an issue with the iPhone, but has now started up again after the upgrade to iOS 4. My iPod Touch is ~ 2 years old and has had absolutely no problems. It is not jailbroken or altered in any way.
This pop-up started for me after upgrading to iOS 4. I did the restore to factory, reinstalled my apps and the problem returned. It appears my push notifications are working, which is good, but I have to click through the pop-up every time I enter an app that uses notifications.
This will go away when Apple fixes it. -
IPhone 4 every time i open an App it says to connect to iTunes for PUSH NOTIFICATIONS?
A couple of days ago without me doing ANYTHING to my iPhone 4.... it ask me to go to iTunes to use Push Notifications... I have sync my iphone and nothin.. .. does anybody out there is experiencing the same problem? If you know what to do to fix this please let me know... this is driving me crazy!!! I have an Iphone 5 6.01. I have a notice on my app store that I have an update. Tried to update, but it won't. Connected to Itunes and tried to download update for App. I can't do that either. It won't let me update any of the apps. What is wrong?
My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

I upgraded to ios7 on my iphone 4s and now many of my apps are prompting me to connect to itunes for push notifications. In most cases, i can just click ok to this prompt and carry on, but it is still a real nuisance. However with the app dropbox and find my phone, I can not get out of the prompt. I have to reboot my phone to be able to use it again. Any suggestions?

I upgraded to iOS 7 yesterday on my iphone and now none of my apps shows me any new message and when i open the apps it says "Connect to itunes for push notifications". Please help!!!
Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

You will have to put your phone into recovery mode and restore the phone as new. Since you don't have a back up, you will lose all the data on your phone but you will be able to use it again.

After my iPhone 4 was upgraded to IOS 7.0.4, some of the apps cannot be used instantly as before. For example, the Whatapps does not alert unless I open the apps manually. Then a message "Connect to itunes for push notifications" appear. Even I tried connect to itunes for sync again, this problem still cannot be resolved. The same problem applies to some other apps like Runkeeper. Don't know why.
Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

My phone says it is connected to itunes and beside the update button it says "a newer version of iphone software is available (version 7.0)...." but when I press 'update' a box pops up that says ""This version of iTunes (10.6.3) is the current version" and then I press okay and nothing else happens. I'm getting frustrated. if anyone can explain to me why I can't update please tell me! Or else I'll have to call up Apple I guess.

IPhone shows connect to iTunes and when i connects, iTune crashes :(
I have downloaded the iOS8 and while it was upgrading the phone, the iTunes crashed and the iPhone is showing the ' connect to iTunes' symbol. But as soon as i plugged the device on my mac the iTunes crashes. Relaunching the iTunes again ended up in crashing the same . i can launch iTunes with out the iPhone connected, but again, when i connect the phone it crashes. and the phone keep showing " connect to iTunes icon".. Bad problem
Restart the Mac, restart iTunes, then connect the iPhone using the recovery mode instructions given in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Thank you but idk y I have done it befor like 3 times 3 diff laptops and it wouldn't go to where it would delet old info and restore completely and after I asked lol it did I just hit restore again and I thought I was going to hav to wait another 5/7 hrs and no it started to work but thank you again have a great one
