My apps on iPhone 5 won't update after installation of ios8.

I know that it can be frustrating when your iTunes or App Stores do not function the way you would expect, especially with application updates. In this situation I would recommend the steps located in the attached article to start the troubleshooting process.
Can't connect to the iTunes Store
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

Does iTunes Connect Christmas break mean apps won't update with new folios over Christmas?

I have 2 folios that are due to be released to my app this Christmas - both fall within the 22nd-29th window iTunes have chosen to close down.
So even though I can publish my folios through DPS over Christmas and pre-plan my app description in iTunes accordingly - before the 22nd - will those published folios not appear in my app?

You mean updating a paid folio... don't know if that needs approving, too.
Maybe someone else can chime in here (I have no exp in that)

Just updated to the latest version of itunes and now my iphone won't sync with my email or calender because the apple mobile device is not started. Anyone know any way roudn this - Apple wish to charge me to fix this. not impressed

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

After switch from Outlook to Mail, iPhone won't sync with Address Book

Good morning
Using Lion, I recently dropped Outlook 2011 in favor of Mail (did not uninstall though, do not want to).
My problem is this, iTunes and iPhone won't sync with Address Book, they remain stuck on syncing with the Outlook address book. The issue is only for the address book, the iPhone syncs fine with iCal for some reason.

Hey, I'm Michael and I work for connex.io, an address book app.
Did you try hooking them all up to iCloud? That should do that trick for Address Book and iPhone.
Alternatively, you could try connex.io. You would be able to sync all of your contacts between iPhone, Address Book and Outlook (and more if you want to). It also de-duplicates, cleans, completes and updates your contacts for you. So you jsut connect your services and connex.io takes care of the rest.

Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.

I've rebooted the iPhone 4 several times (holding the home+power buttons down for several seconds. I've re-installed iTunes and finally got the IOS 6.1.3 update.
The whole process took over 5 hours.
Now, if only iTunes would not give me an error message trying to connect to my iPhone - i may be able to restore my apps... :-(

Do you use Outlook desktop app? If you are talking about a question related to Office 365 web app, it's better to post your question to the Office 365 forum. You will

If you means that the problem is with your Outlook desktop app, please try to log on your OWA and check if the problem persists there.

First off try and go into your IPhone manually through My Computer and cut photos or anything you can through the device to be able to free space up so that you can continue to do what you want to do with ITunes. This way you will be able to create a backup or do what you have to do to manage your information, photos and texts on your device a little better.

IPhone won't sync with iTunes. Help?

iPhone won't sync with iTunes. It just says, "waiting for sync to start." But no matter how long I leave it like that, it never syncs. Wirelessly or via USB. I have restarted both my computer and my phone. I have deleted and reinstalled iTunes. I have installed the latest version of iTunes and the software on my phone is up to date. Nothing seems to work.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Yes, but they are different firms and O2 Ireland sell locked phones as far as I know so the german sim is not meant to work.
From Apples site O2 Eire can unlock but not sure how well that would work if you are back in Germany now, as it usually needs to be active in the carriers country on their network.

Iphone won't pair with any bluetooth speakers, earbuds or car stereo. The devices pair with other phones computers etc. Jawbone Jambox says it's paired with Iphone but Iphone still says not paired! what's wrong? Iphone also doesn't ring or signal text or reminders just vibrates.

did that already twice. no pairings listed until I turn on bluetooth device then it just say not paired and pairing not successful. Jambox says it's paired but Iphone says not paired. My 3G iphone won't update from 3.1.3. Was running iTunes 10.2.1 and had to turn off wireless for iTunes to recognize the phone. Have installed iTunes 10.4, but now it doesn't open right away. When it finally does, it recognizes the phone and reminds me it needs updating. I can back up/sync normally, but when I try to update the software, I get the back up status bar for 24+ hours. It never installs the software. As a result, I have not updated the phone's software.
