Apps open and close all of the sudden

Ok, my iphone was working fine until 10 minutes ago. I had no issues with it and all of the sudden, I tried opening up an app and all it will do is just open and close all of the sudden. And it's with ALL apps! I tried doing everything there is to do to solve the issue and nothing. I even followed someone's post about downloading a free app and nothing. I have tried restoring it, doing the sleep/wake and home button till apple logo comes up, and turning it off normally, and even re-syncing to computer and NOTHING! What should I do?

Download another free App - doesn't matter which one.
Sync and then hold down the Home and top button until the phone switches of completely.
Restart the phone and you should be fine - you did nothing wrong but its a sign of a bad sync.

When using my ipad the screen will start to flicker and when its on the home page it will open or close apps by itself.

Close all of the apps in the recents tray. There might be something funky going on with an app. Then reset your iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Close all of them. Tap the home button twice.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

ALL of my 3rd party apps open and close immediately

after connecting to itunes after a few months now ALL of my 3rd party apps open and close immidiately when i try to open them

First try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. If that doesn't help, try downloading a new App free app from the app store to see if that helps.

Hey Chris,
It just happened to me. If all the brought apps are closing immediately (and excluding the built in ones) then try either:
1. Restart your phone.
2. Hold the home button for the task bar and hold the app for a few seconds until they jiggle and a red cicle with a line in it shows up. Touch each one (this is just deleting them and "refreshing them", you aren't really deleting the app).
3. Go to the App store and buy a free app, any, and install it. Try opening one of your apps now. This worked for me. If it works, you can go ahead and delete the free app.
4. If all fails...restore your phone.

My ipad 4 dropped and now apps open and close on their own

My ipad 4 dropped off my lap. The glass is intact but now all the apps open and close randomly on their own. I tried to reboot it and it didnt workd. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

THANKS for your prompt reply Bluetooth is off in my laptop and IPhone.. and in fact the reset is the only thing that can make it back to normal. But for a lil while. I wonder if it is the touch, or the home botton... both things are very expensive to replace, so I wouldn't like to spend $$ and continue having the prob.....

Accordions can only ever have a single panel open. If you
want individual control over which panels are open you probably
want to use a CollapsiblePanelGroup. This sample shows how to open

Creative Cloud App open and close / crash immediately.

Creative Cloud App open and close immediately on mac book pro.
There is no error message.
I just see cloud icon on top bar for few second and the it disappear and nothing happened.
What I done:
reset and reinstal the CC App few times
uninstall CC App and run a Adobe Cleaner Tool and clean CC App. The install again
I have CS6 still installed on Mac and can't uninstall right now.

I've been having this issue for a while, and I FINALLY got it to work. For what it's worth, here's what I did.
I was trying to send files from my laptop to my desktop and for some reason i saw that my desktop couldn't find my laptop. I went to the Sharing settings and saw that under my "Computer Name" there was nothing there. This may have happened due to my upgrade to Mavericks. Once I placed filled that info in, and restarted my laptop. Lo and behold, Creative Cloud and Growl started working side by side again
This may not be your issue, but I thought I'd pass it along.

Recieved my 3rd iphone 4s due to battery issues and got another dud. While in use, the apps will open and close on there own, email will get deleted while I'm reading them or archived. while looking through my contacts directory, the phone will select a contact creating an outbound call. This is frustrating. Any one else have this issue?

Apps open and close alone...

I have the Ipad 3 with IOS 6 and yesterday, suddenly, the apps and everything started working without touching the screen. Everything opens and closes immediately without stopping. I barely could turn it off. I finally reset it but still the same. I restore it completly with iTunes but still the same. Has enyone experienced this?? Can't use it!

You can turn individual accessibility features on or off in Accessibility settings on iPad. You can also turn some features on or off in iTunes when you connect iPad to your computer.
Turn on accessibility features using iPad: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
Turn on accessibility features using iTunes: Connect iPad to your computer and select iPad in the iTunes device list. Click Summary, then click Configure Universal Access at the bottom of the Summary screen.

My iPad mini acts strange. Apps will randomly open and close and I have no control over it. I have reset it to factory and started all over but it is still doing it. Any ideas on what I should do?

If the unit has NEVER been jailbroke, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless... Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

Ipod touch 3.1.1 free app open and close

I upgraded ipod touch to the newest 3.1.1 and downloaded some free app for test such as skype, weather, yahoo financa,etc.
But somehow when I touched to open apps, they will close very quickly, I reboot ipod a few times,also removed and re-installed, still not working, open and close immdiately.
also I found my Notes is messed up, can not delete, add any new notes. When adding a new note, touch 'Done' then back to home.
any help will be highly appreciated, otherwise I have to downgrade and jailbreak it..:(

"First: You must try is a reboot or restarting your iPod Touch( iPod Touch 2G jailbreakers have to follow the boot process again). Restarting your iPod refreshes the memory of iPod Touch and chances are that your applications will be running fine after a restart. It is also recommended that you should restart your iPod Touch once in a week.
Second: The app doesn’t meant for your iPod Touch
Third : The app isn’t available in your country and you might be using .ipa files for installation, if you have this problem with .ipa files then try another version or latest version of the app and it might work.
Fourth: Use applications that frees memory, i recommend a restart though.
Most of the time, a simple restart solves the closing app problem.

Windows 8.1 Apps open and close immediately

We have joined a laptop running Windows 8 to the domain however none of the apps work. They open and then close immediately.
The error in the event log is:The app microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft.WindowsLive.Calendar's package family (microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe) has more than one package installed. This is not supported, so the app
was not activated for the Windows.Launch contract.
The problem doesn't happen with a local user or before the laptop was on the domain.
We have tried following with no luck:
*Permission changes for ALL APLICATION PACKAGES
* Laptop and user in an OU with no group policies applying
*Same ISO re-downloaded
*Registry changes advised by Microsoft
* Local admin rights to domain user
Uninstalling and re-installing the apps manually fixed this issue but this isn't the correct way of fixing this as Windows 8 will be rolled out company wide.

What to do if your Windows 8 Modern App fails to start
Please follow the steps mentioned to see if any group policy settings(like AppLocker, logon scripts or proxy settings) or the image itself caused this.
