Apps purchased in another app store

I changed my region of appstore to US once and the apps I bought before can't be seen in purchased list any more. Although they could be installed without charge and well notified, it's still difficult for me to remember if I've bought this app when I am viewing the product page. So, is there any means to transfer all my purchased apps to US store and I can judge whether it's already mine from the install icon easily?

Can anybody help me please?

  • Can I install a app which is in my purchased list of another apple ID and then log out after installing of that app and then log in with my current apple ID in Mac App Store

I had upgraded to current OS X yosemite, I performed clean install and I also made a new icloud account and apple ID.
the previous apple ID have few purchased paid app like- "GarageBand"
now in my new apple ID I have to purchase it
I was wondering if I install this app by logging in with my old apple id and installing
and then log in with my new apple id.

Yes, you can sign out of the App Store, then Sign In using another Apple ID and download the apps associated with that ID, but when you get finished switching back and forth you will have a rather confused setup...updating is going to get cumbersome when you try and keep straight what software is associated with what ID.  With your setup, it would just be simpler to purchase the app again so everything on your Mac matches and you don't have to try and remember what goes where.

  • HT201389 Update apps purchased in another country's App Store?

Will I be able to update apps purchased in another country's App Store?

I already have this mess. No you will not. Unless you change back to the country that you bought the app from. Oh, but then you run into the problem that you need a valid address and payment method from that country.
So no, if you move to another country, Apple will steal all your apps.

  • I have an app in my app store that is requiring an update but I never purchased the app and when I click update, another apple ID pops up that is not mine.  Now i keep getting reminders to update the app and I cant get rid of it from the app store.  Help.

I have an app in my app store that is requiring an update but I never purchased the app and when I click update, another apple ID pops up that is not mine.  Now i keep getting reminders to update the app and I cant get rid of it from the app store.  Help.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    kMDItemAppStoreHasReceipt=1
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, press the key combination command-F to open a search window, or select
    File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select
    Search: This Mac
from the row of tokens below the toolbar. Below that is a popup menu initially showing Kind. From that menu, select  Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select Raw Query and click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of popup menu. Click in that box and paste (command-V).
The search window will show all the App Store products you've installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test.

  • Update fails because App Store *thinks* another account did the purchase

    Hello,
I bought XCode a few weeks ago. Now that there is an update I wanted to update. But whenever I try to update it, I get the following message:
"You have updates available for other accounts.
To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."
Problem is: I am signed in with that account ! Logging out and back in does not solve the problem, neither does rebooting.
Moreover, when I check that account it indeed shows that I bought XCode with that account.
Somehow XCode (but not other applications I bought like FaceTime) seems to think it is registered to another account and hence does not want to update, so I'm stuck.
    Help !

    Hi,
Report the problem to the Mac App Store Customer Support here.
Then install the v10.6.7 combo update available here.
    Then restart your Mac.
The "update" issue is a known bug. The more users that report the problem, the sooner a fix comes along in the form of an update.

  • Can I purchase from the Mac App store for another user as a gift?

Greeting Mac community. Since most of the software for Mac is now purchased online like Pages, Keynote ans Numbers, I was wondering how can I purchase those softwares listed below as a gift for another Mac user for her Ipad?

Send her a gift card: http://store.apple.com/us/personalize/itunes
It can be used for App Store and iTunes Store purchases.
Technically you cannot "give" apps, since technically, you cannot "own" them to begin with.

  • Can I see my purchases on another computer's App Store?

I know how I can transfer software purchased on the Mac App Store to another computer (say between my desktop and my laptop), so this is not an issue.
However, if I have purchased software on my desktop and then log in on my laptop's App Store, I can not see (under the "Purchases" tab) the purchases made on my desktop. Is this normal behavior?
If yes, what happens if I replace my current computer: will I never be able to see my purchase history directly on the App Store under the "Purchases" tab? That would be really inconvenient.
So, the question: is there any way I can see my purchases under the "Purchases" tab of another computer (not the one where I made the initial purchases)?
    Thanks!

    Hi and welcome.
You don't need to transfer software purchased or free from the Mac App Store to another computer.
Just login to the Mac App Store on any Mac you own with the same Apple ID.
It's a good idea to back up your apps also. Help here for that. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4482

There is nothing wrong with the OS update.
    Delete ALL your email accounts.
    Restart Playbook
Put the accounts back and ensure they are all set with PUSH ON.  Manual (push off) will burn battery.
Similarly delete your wifi connections and add back when required.
Turn off wifi is not connected to wifi.
Any "hunting for connection" in email or wifi will burn up battery.

  • Yosemite UPGRADE, Apps that I try to update fail with the message that connection to App Store failed, then i get a message that the updates were purchased by another user ID or purchase cancelled. All five updates have this error

AFTER I UPGRADED TO YOSEMITE, I TRIED TO UPDATE THE FIVE APPS THAT I WAS BEING NOTIFIED NEEDED UPGRADING (IMOVIE, IPHOTO ETC). I TRIED TO UPDATE VIA THE APP STORE BUT GOT A MESSAGE "UPGRADE NOT POSSIBLE WITH THIS APPLE ID BECAUSE IT WAS EITHER BOUGHT BY A DIFFERENT USER OR THE ITEM WAS REFUNDED OR CANCELLED." I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM SIGNING ON TO ICLOUD OR ANY OF THE OTHER SERVICES USING MY APPLE ID, I ALSO CHANGED THE PASSWORD AT THE PROMPTING. SO I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT MEANS. WHAT CAN I DO TO UPDATE MY APPLICATIONS?

Please test after each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Keep in mind that no one here represents Apple or can help with customer-service issues.
    Step 1
A purchased app can only be updated by signing in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that was originally used to buy it. There's no way around that limitation, which also applies to free apps. If you can't sign in with the buyer's ID, delete the app and reinstall it. You'll have to pay for it again, if applicable.
    Step 2
If you get the alert when trying to update a bundled iLife app, select the Purchases page in the App Store and locate the app in your purchase history. If there's a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click it.
If you have a used Mac, the bundled apps were linked to the original owner's Apple ID and can't be transferred to you. Reportedly, customer service has issued redemption codes to some second owners who asked, but it's not guaranteed.
    Step 3
If you're trying to update iLife or iWork apps that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac bought directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. You may be asked for the part number of the DVD.
    Step 4
From the App Store menu bar, select
              Store ▹ View My Account
Enter your Apple ID password at the prompt. At the lower right corner of the window that opens, click the Reset button. Close the window.
    Step 5
According to a report, the error can result from changing the language setting of your Apple ID account. I can't confirm.

  • HT1918 My husband's iPhone4 uses one apple id for purchases and updates, but another is listed in the App Store. How do I reconfigure his phone to only use the apple I'd and password that is used in the the "featured" section of the App Store?

My husband's iphone4 seems to have 2 apple ids. The one listed in the featured section of the App Store is the correct one. The one that asks to be signed into for purchase and updates is also mine, and the incorrect one. Hence, our devices are linked. How can I remove my apple Id from his phone so that there is no connection between the two?

I think it may be because he got his phone first and not seeing a future issue, I set his phone up to my already existing apple Id used for my iPod. If I connect his iPhone to our pc, can I create his own apple id account?

  • Getting OTA updates and App store purchases from another country

    Hello,
I'm thinking of buying a Palm Pre in Germany (where I live at the moment), but I'm moving to Israel in a couple of months.  My cellphone carrier in Israel will probably be Cellcom.  Will it be possible for me to receive these OTA updates? And will I be able to purchase Apps while I'm there?
    Thanks,

Same question. I moved from the Macau store to the French store. All my apps and music don't appear in 'purchased' in the iTunes Store and the Mac App Store. I guess it's alright for the apps because I can see what I have in my library, but it's a bit more annoying for the Mac App Store. I was planning to buy an iMac and of course connect to the Stores using my apple id, then download all the apps on the new computer but it seems it's not gonna make it.

  • Selling/transfering app-store purchases from one user to another?

I purchased iPhoto 2011 for my old macbook, then sold that macbook to a friend and bought a new macbook that has iPhoto 2011 already installed as a part of iLife. Can I 'sell' or 'give' that app-store purchased copy of iPhoto 2011 to the guy who bought my old mac?

Can I 'sell' or 'give' that app-store purchased copy of iPhoto 2011 to the guy who bought my old mac?
That would be a violation of the MAS's End User License Agreement. And he would need for you to visit him every time that there was an update for iPhoto. The version that you got from the MAS is registered to you and only you can update it through the MAS.
You should likely also forget the free version of iPhoto that came with the new MacBook and download and install the MAS version that you bought so that you can continue to receive the updates that will be available for iPhoto in the future through the MAS.

  • IPhone 5S cannot make purchase with App Store (login issue)

Ok - I am rather irritated.  I tried to purchase a 99 cent app, and upon tapping the purchase button, the App Store insisted that I enter my Apple ID password (what happened to using your fingerprint, which worked when I bought the phone?).  Ok - so I enter the correct password.
I am then confronted with another window that states that I need to confirm my ID - and it has me enter my password again - then says I need to answer two security questions... which I did.  It tells me I did not answer one or both correctly and to try again.  I again entered what I absolutely KNOW is the correct info - and it repeatedly gave the same message... until it finally said I would be locked out from making any further purchases, and to contact customer support.
Funny - I can log in using iTunes on my MacBook Pro and am having no issues whatsoever with that.  I can view my account, make purchases, etc.
    So what gives?

I have no idea what the deal is - but I somehow "fixed" this... I manually logged in to my apple ID on my MacBook Pro, went to the security section and confirmed my security question answers (I had them right, just as I thought).  Closed out that page, went back to my iPhone and simply tapped the "go" button again (same answers, same questions) - and it logged in just fine...
Must have been an App Store glitch...

  • Why is my app in the app store is all need to purchase with visa and such other things? As a example i wanted to update the clash of clan apps, but it keep saying that i have to do a billing thing. Please help me.

Im currently new to this iphone. Im using iphone 5s with a version iOS 7.1.1. My problem is what is wrong with my app store? It keep telling me to update my billing method. Was all apps in the app store is need to be purchase. Such as i wanted to update my clash of clan game. It keep telling me to fill in my billing method. I already fill in the billing method, but it say that "There is a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update you payment method. " i don't know why he keep telling me this even though in my visa card got money. Please help me with this problem

This is incorrect. "There is a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update you payment method. " means you have made a purchase and iTunes/Apple hasn't received the finds for it yet. hence the "There is a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update you payment method. ". This means you would need to either use an iTunes gift card to pay it off or another debit or credit card that is currently on the account.

  • Purchased Pages 09 yesterday. It shows up in my iTunes purchase history, but is not in my App Store list of purchased apps.  It was purchased and downloaded to my 13 macbook.  I want to install it on my iMac, but can't do so until I see it in App Store.

I purchased Pages 09 through the App Store on June 22 from my Macbook.  It downloaded and installed, but is not in my list of AppStore purchases.  I need it to show up in my App Store purchase history, so that I may download and install to my iMac where I do more of my work when at home.  THe app does not show up in App Store purchase history on either machine, however it does show up as purchased under my iTunes account.  Yes, I could probably just copy the application from one machine to the other, but if it doesn't show up as an App Store purchase I won't receive any product updates.
Should I refute the credit card charge through my credit card company to get Apple to fix the issue?

    (2) That option partially works, but is not acceptable in the long term.
    (3) I do indeed now have the application on both machines.  If I look for the Pages 09 application in the App Store application, it shows up as installed.  However, it does not show up in my purchase history!  This is critical as far as I'm concerned because I will not see security updates or feature updates unless it shows up as purchased from the App Store.  In fact, I'm hoping that I'll get a free upgrade to Pages 11 (if it comes out soon) based on how recent I've made the purchase of Pages 09.
    (1) good news
    (2) I can't decide for you. Remember that I am an end user like you.
    (3) (a) I never saw security update applied to an iWork application.
    (b) for the update, as the app if flagged as installed you will get the update if Apple deliver an ultimate one (update 9.0.6)
    (c) don't dream. Apple never did that. What they do is to deliver a free upgrade to buyers of a machine when the corresponding order was delivered after the product announcement (example : Lion if you order a mac to morrow)
Pages '11 (maybe it will be Pages '12) will not be an update but an upgrade and in such case, we must pay.
I got the described behavior for the app named "The Unarchiver" and, applying what I described, the app behave now as it must do.
