Apps report width

When printing the standard out of the box Oracle Apps report "GLYRLGLG.rdf (Journal - Entry) which is 180 characters, the report truncates the last two characters when printing to our HP printers. The characters are there when I view the output file. The print style for this report has not been changed or modified and it's Landwide using the W driver supplied. I've tried it using the HPW driver and it still cuts of the report. The driver's are both set to 180 X 66 as is the report.
Any help appreciated.

You may check at your printer's property and setting, paper size. Or see the system parameter setting of the W*H your tool.
If this can't solve it, you may change your printer's destination, if you have another one and try.

  • Report width in report builder 6i

    Hi Experts,
I am working on report builder 6i reports. I want to increase the report width in the layout.
I click on layout, properties, i changed the width to 700 for header, body and footer section.
But when i run the report from concurrent program, it's giving error.
Error: REP-1212: Object 'Body' is not fully enclosed by its enclosing object
Could some body help me, how to fix this issue.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. To get rid off that error, i did the following thing.
I set the width as 132, and height as 62 of header, main body and trailer section in report builder.
In Concurrent program window also, i set the column as 132 and rows as 62, and style as BAC.
When i submit the report through concurrent program, it's working fine.
Now i changed the width of the report to 200 and height to 66.
Now, i want to change the style to A4 in concurrent program window. I don't have A4 style in list of values. I went to SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR ---> INSTALL --> PRINTER --> TYPES. (Added A4 style to all types)
Now i changed the columns to 200 and rows to 66 and style as A4.
    Now, it's showing below error.
    ERROR: APP-FND-00314:INVALID PRINTER.
Again i selected BAC style and try to submit the program, it's giving different error.
REP-1219: 'Body' has no size - length or width is zero.
Could somebody help me to solve the issue. (Why it's giving above error after adding the A4 style to all types of printers) and why did i get the previous errors (REP-1212, Body fully not enclosed).
    Kindly help me, it's urgent.
    Thanks.

  • Character mode report and Report Width & Height

    Hi
I need to print a report on a pre-printed pay slip which is 4" height x 9" width.
May i know what value should i set for these parameter?
Report Level: Unit of measurement: Inch
Report Level: Design in Character Units: Yes
Layout Model, Main Section: Width: 9, Height: 4
Layout Model, Character Mode: Report Width: 132, Report Height: 24
Apps SRW driver: width: 132, height: 24
If i need to print the character with 15cpi, is the value of 24 for the height (above) correct?
What should be the value to set for Ruler Settings, character cell size: horizontal & vertical?
    Thanks
    Ung

Could it be because A4 is actually 11.5" by 8.5" ?

In fact the ISO standard is 8.3" × 11.7". 8.5" x 11" is "Letter", which nobody uses any more.

  • 9iAS Full Use Licence required to Customise Apps Reports

I have heard that it is necessary to purchase full use licences for Oracle 9i Application Server Enterprise Edition if you wish to create customised reports for Oracle Applications. Is this true? We have a few customised reports (some just layout changes to standard Oracle Apps reports) and this expense could be significant. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

    Here are some suggestions.
First, go to settings, genera, usage.  The top of the screen will show you how much free space you have.   If you wait a little while, it will list the apps you have installed, along with the app size.   If you tap any particular app, it will then show you how much in total the app is using, including documents and data.   Using this list, identify a set of apps that you can live without.
Pay particular attention to media heavy stuff like music, videos, comics etc.     Looking through those screens, your may find some elements you can get rid of easily.
Once you do, remove the apps, or data elements in the normal fashion.  To delete an app, tough and hold until it jiggles, then hit the x to delete it.
When you are done, then reboot the pad.  Hopefully this will flush out the deleted content.  Recheck usage, and see what has changed.
Keep in mind that you cannot fill the pad to the brim.  All systems need some elbow room to run.  Something on the order of 10-15 pct, so you need to get your usage number somewhere below 14 g to give it enough space to create temporary files etc.
Go back to i tunes.  Cancel the sync before it erros out by clicking the x in the progress bar.  Keep doing that as it steps through to get i tunes to just sit there, waiting for instructions.
Then, click on your device on the left pane, and go through the tabs for music, apps etc. and uncheck anything you have removed from your pad.  If you do not do this, the sync will try to put that stuff back onto the pad and you will end up back where you started.
When you are done, click apply, then sync, and see what happens.
As you have a 16 gig machine, you will need to keep an eye on the usage numbers to keep this from happening.
    Good luck.

  • RESOLVED : Windows Phone – Download/In-app reporting fix begins tonight

Update 4/2/15: The processing is complete.  The below issue is resolved.
We have identified some download and in-app purchase transactions that were not appearing in the Windows Phone Dev Center dashboard for the November to present timeframe.
We will start the process to add these transactions back tonight. The process will be completed in approximately a week.
    Please note the following:
We will add data one month at a time. The most current data will be processed first (March 2015) and then work backwards to November 2014.
As each month is processed, you may see increases in your download/in-app reporting numbers for that month.
You will not lose visibility into any data.
Transactions will continue to be shown in the Windows Phone Dev Center portal, while in parallel, we will add back the historical data.
Only some developers were missing transactions, so you may not see any changes in your download/in-app numbers.
    This issue only impacts
Windows Phone download/in-app numbers.  Windows Phone payout data, and Windows data is unaffected.
We will update this post when the process is complete.
    Thank you,
    Patrick

  • How to reduce report width programatically?

    Hi All,
Iam placing around 38 filelds in report and increased the report section width in Main Section to 40. Iam using formating triggers to these 38 fields.Based on the parameters passed these fields will be displayed. some times there will be only 10 fileds in the report and remaining it shows blank space.I dont want that blank space.
"Is it possible to change that report main section width programatically?"
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Girish,
I don't think it will be easy to adjust report width programmatically and move controls accordingly. It will be advisable to go for matrix report with format trigger to hide blank columns.
    Regards
    Manoj

My MSSQL Server express 2014 edition x64  and My desktop "Report Builder (RB) 3.0' is 32bit (x86).
Does Report Builder x64 exist? I didn't see anywhere so I downloaded x86 RB

    Hi mujb,
Per my understanding you are using the report builder 3.0 to design the report and when you click the query designer button to execute the query you got the error message above, right?
I have tested on my local envornment and your issue can be caused by the user "SQLServer2014\Mubs"  and "mujb-HP\mujb"  haven't grant permission to the report server or the shared dataeource/dataset if you have used this.
I would like to confirm if you have assigned both the Item-Level and System-Level role of the user above to sucessfully access the report server, If you haven't grant any access to the above user and when you connect to the report server in the report builder,
you may got the error message:
More details information below for your reference:
Please execute the query in the microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to see if you have permission to execute the query.
If the query works fine in step1, please run the report builder as Administrator and if you are using the shared datasource/dataset the issue can be cause by the you haven't grant access the share datasource, Double click to open the Datasource
and click the "Test Connection" as below to test if it can connect successfully:
If the "Test Connection" failed, please click the shared datasource/dataset on Report Server to check if you have grant correct permission.
