Apps show on laptop but do not appear on iphone - just blank spaces
I have a few apps which worked when I 1st got them but now do not show on the iphone; however they still show on the laptop, even after I delete them from the library they reappear when I sync the phone. It is as if the icon has disappeared on the iphone but it is still there in the background somewhere, although it does not work. But blank spaces are there on the iphone where the apps were placed. It happened to pic2shop and aroundme apps. How can I get them to show on the iphone and work again? I have tried downloading them again and also doing a reset, and even deleting them from the mac, but I can't delete them from the iphone. Help!!
This is the proper way to completely remove an app from your itunes library:
1. Click on Applications on the left hand side of the iTunes window.
2. Locate the application and either "right-click" or "Control-click" and choose Delete from the shortcut menu.
3. Select "Remove" when asked if you want to remove the selected application from your iTunes library.
4. Select "Move to Trash" when asked if you want to move the selected application to the Trash.
5. Empty your trash.
Then, sync your phone to completely remove the app from your phone. If you get a prompt to transfer purchases regarding the phantom apps on your phone, decline.

ThanksThere are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.

Norton Toolbar works on my netbook (Windows XP) but suddenly stopped appearing on Firefox on my desktop (Windows 7). Both are running Firefox V3.6.13. On the View/Toolbars the Norton toolbar does not appear as an option.
I rely on the Norton toolbar and will have to switch to IE (ughhhh!!!) if I cannot restore the toolbar to Firefox.Tools > Addons > Extensions - does that Norton extension appear in that listing?

That answer from Norton wasn't accurate. IE uses a different version of the Norton toolbar than Firefox needs. -
I have copied several full length "digital copy" movies (.m4v) to iTunes (11.0.1 (12)). I've synced the movies I wanted from iTunes to my iPhone 4 (iOS 6.0.1) without any indication of a problem, but they don't show up in the "Videos" app on the iPhone. The only option in the Video app is "Shared" which appears to be a dead link when touched.
The first time I synced, the movies took several minutes to upload to the iPhone. Each subsequent sync takes only seconds, so it seems the movies have been already uploaded to the phone. In iTunes, the movies also appear in the "On This Phone" tab as well.
I've synced several times, turned off / on the iPhone and enabled all possible boxes I thought would work, but without success.
Anyone have any suggestions?Welcome to the Apple community.
Make sure these movies are checked under the movie tab when syncing with iTunes. -
Hi.. My internet and wifi are working on samsung phone and hp laptop but its not getting connected to iphone ipad, only skype is coming online rest all apps and safari show no internet connection. Got new linksys router WRT160NL , but situation same. Tried reboot, renew lease, forget network, reset network setting. Pls advice
Have you tried a simple reset of your iPod to see if that helps? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, have you tried any of the troubleshooting mentioned in this Apple support document?

If some extensions are not supported by PS CC 2014, you have to continue to use them in PS CC until their HTML based counterparts become available. -
Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

Adobe extensions show in the Extension Manager and are enabled but do not appear at all in Photoshop CC 2014. Third party extensions do show up and can be used. I loaded a bunch of free Apps (maybe too many?) right after I got my 4s yesterday, and at some point I noticed that none of the downloaded Apps would work. The screen would blink when I tapped the icons, but the Apps stopped opening. Resetting the phone didn't help, so I decided to delete all the Apps I had downloaded and start over.
I can get the "Purchased" list to show up by pressing Updates button (is there another way?) but the show as "installed" in greyed-out letter, so I can't figure out how to get them back.Your iPad screens aren't completely filled up are they? If they are, you will only be able to find them using the search feature on the iPad.

Are you looking at the tabs on the right-hand side of iTunes when you've connected and selected your device on the left-hand side of iTunes ? i.e. it should be one of the tabs that you use to chose what content to sync to the device : syncing photos

I purchased seven songs from the iTunes store on my iPod Touch.They appear all in order on my iPod, but do not appear in my library, or on my iTunes purchased account history. I am trying to burn a cd with these songs, but cannot because they won't appear on the computer. Any help?

how can I open the outbox for mail? That is, mail that i have finished and pressed 'send' but has not appeared in the 'sent' folder
The reason it will not be in the sent folder is, it failed to send.
If it failed to send, then you will see the Outbox icon. 'Pending' would be a more descriptive name.
When it eventually sends, the Outbox will not show in the Mail app interface.
Until it is sent it will stay stuck in the Outbox.
If it refuses to send, you can manually delete it in Finder, at the location ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Outbox.mbox
Close Mail first, before you search for that email using the Finder.

First off, I'm using Windows XP (and Mac SnowLeopard) Here's how it started. For some reason my ipod started showing up as a camera when I plugged it in. It works fine in itunes, though. But when I tried to access it from "my computer" it only
showed me the one and only picture I had on my ipod. I deleted that picture hoping it would no longer show up as a camera. When it still did I right-clicked on it in "my computer" and selected "properties". Under "autoplay" I
chose for it to 'not show up' or 'take no action' or some such deal when I plugged it in. I thought that would stop it from popping up the window that asks whether i want to 'open camera wizard' or 'open camera scanning' or 'open folder to view files' or 'take
no action' , etc. But now it won't show up in "my computer" at all. I also have a Mac with SnowLeopard. When I plugged my ipod into it my ipod doesn't show up in "finder" either! So basically my problem is not a mechanical one with hardware
or software; yht ipod still works fine in itunes. I just need to undo the change I made. I've searched all around my preferences, utilities, options, etc. It shows up on my "Device Manager" but not on "Disk Management".

To show up in Windows Explorer, you can try placing the iPod into
disk mode.
Moreover, i recommend you to
restore ipod to factory settings.
If this issue still persists, locate to device manager, uninstall and reinstall USB Mass Storage Device driver.

I disconnect the wire,

in my iPad ->Settings -> General -> iTunes Wi-Fi Sync -> says " Sync will resume when (my PC) is available.
