Apps tab missing from Creative Cloud Desktop

Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
I'm running Creative Cloud on Mac OS 10.9.5. A couple days ago I updated several of the apps through the Creative Cloud Desktop app in the menu bar. The apps updated and they all seem to run fine, but now the Apps tab is missing altogether from the CC Desktop Window, and it's even missing from the CC Desktop preferences. (Please see the screenshots.) Also, when I click on the "Install Adobe Apps" button in the CC Desktop window, nothing happens.
I've un-installed -> re-downloaded -> re-installed CC Desktop several times, along with trying some of the other troubleshooting suggestions I've found here on the Adobe site, such as:
restarting the computer
logging out of CC Desktop then back in again
deleting the opm.db file
deleting the CoreSync folder
deleting the AdobeAAMDetect plugin
Nothing seems to fix it. As I mentioned, the applications all seem to running fine, but I'd like to know that CC Desktop is functioning as intended and keeping me up to date. Any other suggestions?
Thanks again...

I had this issue. And went through to chat with customer support. I have my apps panel once again. Transcript is below if you want to follow what I did.

  • Applications missing from Creative Cloud Desktop application

If you are unable to locate a specific application then it is likely the computer you are using does not meet the current system requirements.  In the following example you can see that After Effects and Premiere Pro are missing from the list of available applications.
When I look at the System information for my Windows installation I am informed that I have a 32-bit version of Windows 8.
This means that I will be unable to install Premiere Pro or After Effects as my current computer does not meet the minimum system requirements.  You can find a list of Creative Cloud system requirements at Adobe Creative Cloud – Tech specs.
For additional information please see Not all apps displayed for download | Creative Cloud desktop app, Adobe Application Manager.
If you have confirmed that your computer meets and exceeds all of the listed System requirements then please see CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.

    Hi Jeff,
I have a lot of problems. First og all the system will not accept my account and even I have downloaded CPLauncher and can see the software, I will not genereate password. Nothing works, and if do not, I have to stop paying, because my boss are a little angry.
He says: We pay and it do not work. Find other software. We can’t afford you sitting doing nothing. If Adobe makes such a software that causes us trouble, we will change to something else, we do not need Aobe for our projects.
So Jeff – The software are very complicated, it can run, It can’t genereate license,  and on top of all this, I have to defend Adobe. Well – I will not. I have been fighting in 3 weeks and this week is the last. Monday morning I will stop using Adobe coud and stop my membership.

I've also signed out and signed in of my CC account multiple times . . . with the same outcome.
All of this started after I had updated all the available updates . . . I was also looking to install Lightroom CC.

    3)
Trash Adobe Creative Cloud from Applications well.
    4)
    1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-ToFolder " option.
    2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( Do not miss ~ symbol)

  • The Apps tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop application indicates download error

This is how my Creative Cloud Desktop apps looks like. It says "download error".  When I try to update the apps, same thing. I tried it the way you described but didn't work. I don't know what to do...

Branching this to a separate discussion.

    hello
I'm experiencing the same problem. When I start the Creative cloud installer, in the apps tab does not appear any application to download. My system is ok for the requirements. I tried to sign out from my account from the creative cloud app, doesn't work either. I'm also new in my Mac so I don't know how to uninstall the app.
    what can I do?

If not then can you post a screen shot of the exact behavior you are experiencing?  You can find details on how to post a screen shot at FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?.

  • Download Error for apps from Creative Cloud desktop

I have just signed up for the CS6 cloud package. As a teacher, I've paid for the Student or Teacher arrangement. However, I have not been able to download and install any of the applications. My first attempt was to download Acrobat from the website downloader; the system went throught the motions of installing the Application Manager app, but failed even though the icon was installed on my desktop. So I tried by installing the Creative Cloud desktop app. The installation seemed successful, but a cannot even get to see the apps and get a Download Error message!

  • Lightroom 5 is missing from Creative Cloud's Apps List. Please help.

I've just subscribed to the Photoshop Photography program, installed Creative Cloud, installed Photoshop CC from there and could run it just fine, but I couldn't find Lightroom 5 in the list of apps that I could install from CC. Please help.

    Hi krio,
If you're a paying Creative Cloud member, you may not see Lightroom in the Creative Cloud if your computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. Check to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the latest release of Lightroom.
If you're using a trial version of Creative Cloud, the Lightroom trial is not available through Creative Cloud. It is, however, available as a stand-alone trial. See Install Lightroom trial | Creative Cloud membership.
    Note:
Lightroom requires a 64-bit-compatible operating system.
Creative Cloud only lists the application compatible to your system.

  • Lightroom missing from Creative Cloud

I have been using the Photography option of the Creative Cloud (Photoshop + Lightroom + other stuff) since December. Has been working great. Suddenly, however, Lightroom does not appear in the list of installed or available apps, despite the fact it is installed and working normally. Computer is a MacBook Air 2012, 4GB RAM, plenty of disk space. My concern is that I am not receiving Lightroom updates.

  • Illustrator project went missing from Creative Cloud files

I am using a trial version of illustrator and have been working on a project for a week now and then today I went to open it up and the file shows up in recent files but says it is missing.  I checked in my creative cloud files folder and it is no longer there.  After opening illustrator again it no longer shows up in my recent files either.  I am trying to get this file back since I was almost done.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has any advice or ideas!

    Hi,
Are you aware of this bug after the most recent update? Why do I have 3 'Creative Cloud Files' folders? It could be the case your file is actually in another Creative Cloud folder. Could you please check and report back.
    Thanks

  • Premiere missing from creative cloud

I downloaded the Trial for the Creative Cloud and I don't see Premiere. Every time I try and download Premiere it downloads Creative Cloud all over and it still doesn't show Premiere.

In the past you may have had Premiere Pro CS4 or earlier installed which run OK on 32 bit.
Or you may have had Premiere Elements installed. But you cannot have had Premiere Pro CS6 or CC installed on your 32 bit system.
Since CS5 both Premiere Pro and After Effects have been 64 bit only and will not install or run on 32 bit
