Apps to watch shows won't work

My phone was connecting to the wi-fi but not letting me using anything to required internet, saying there was a connection error to my server. Verizon reset my phone and internet was working along with most of my apps. But now when I try and use ABC player or Netflix it won't let me watch anything. It continues to say check my connection to my server. Any tips? I've tried resetting and it doesn't appear to help with my player apps.

Try backing up then restoring to factory. After restoring to factory download netflix and try again. If it works after that do not restore from backup because it could be a settings issue.

    You might give VueScan a try. It should work with your scanner. There's a demo version that you can use initially.

  • I can't close inactive apps - double tap home won't work

    I know how to close apps on my ipod, it just won't work.   When I double tap the home button, nothing happens - I can't get to that screen that lets me close the apps.  Any suggestions?  Thanks. 

    Did a bit more research - I guess its just normal as the 2g doesn't support multitasking so there are no apps running in the background.  Thanks IIIaass for the info about 2g vs 3g!

  • Updated and apps are 'waiting'. Won't work.

    I did the latest update and now a lot of my apps are blacked out. They won't work and I can't delete them, nothing works.

    Try this:
    Go to the App Store and search for one of those Apps that are blacked out.  See if it gives you an option to download it again or stop the download.
    If not, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap your Apple ID and tap Sign out.  Now go back and see if you can re-download one of those stuck apps (you will be prompted to sign in when you attempt to download).

    On both devices, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    Then restart your iPad and iPhone.
    You will need to re enter the Wi-Fi password.

  • IPod touch 4g won't download apps anymore and facebook won't work

    One day my iPod touch suddenly stopped downloading apps. I thought it wasn't because it hadn't been updated so i updated it but the problem still continues. I have no clue what's gone wrong but it won't update anymore saying, 'error 1004 please try again later.' so i tried again later, and later and still the problem occurs. Also my facebook app hasn't been working well with the newsfeed not appearing and i can't write statuses anymore. it won't show me any new notifications or messages, but i'm guessing thats down to facebook, but I don't know why it's doing it so any helpful answers would be much appreciated? Any help?

  • Apple Remote App or Home Sharing won't work on iPhone or iPad with iTunes (Win 7)

    Hi,
    After I updated my Remote App (version 4.0) on my iPhone 5 (iOS 7.0.3) and iPad-3rd generation (iOS 7.0.3) and updated my iTunes (Version 11.1.3.8) on Win 7, I no longer can get Apple Remote App to work or my Home Sharing to work with Music/Videos for shared library.
    I've followed every step in troubleshooting for Remote App (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1741) with system requirements, proper iTunes settings, Home Sharing setup, Network connections, restarting the network router, and checking firewall settings.  I've also done every setp in troubleshooting for Home Sharing (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2972).
    I've done multiple combinations of signing out on both iDevices and iTunes with Home Sharing, turning them on in different orders, closing and re-opening the apps and iTunes, restarting the iDevices and my computer.  No matter what I do, nothing works.
    I've even tried taking my computer and iDevices with me to different routers (work, home, friend's house, etc.) to see if it was a router problem, but no matter what I do it will not work.  I am looking forward to getting an Apple TV soon, but if these problems persist, the outcome of that possibility is unlikely.
    Are any of you experiencing problems like this?  I could really use some help.

    I just ran iTunes Diagnostics (Help --> Run Diagnostics... --> "Check" Network connectivity tests).
    I found this:
    Windows Firewall is on.
    iTunes is NOT enabled in Windows Firewall.
    Connection attempt to Apple web site was successful.
    Connection attempt to browsing iTunes Store was successful.
    Connection attempt to purchasing from iTunes Store was successful.
    Connection attempt to iPhone activation server was successful.
    Connection attempt to firmware update server was successful.
    Connection attempt to Gracenote server was successful.
    I checked my Firewall settings (Windows Security Essentials) one more time, and it IS enabled for Home/Work (Private) and Public.
    I think I'm going to uninstall and reinstall iTunes and see if that helps.

  • HELP!! I'm trying to purchase a gift for someone in app world and it won't work!!

    I received a gift request for an app in Blackberry App World and I am tryi g desperately to accept it but all I get is "please wait" it is driving me crazy. I was able to buy one once before and had the same problems but after deleting app world, rebooting a ton of ti.es and restalling app world I finally got it to work. There has to be an easier way...seriously rim! I have reinstalled app world 2x, rebooted at least 5x...tried everything I can think of including turning off Blackberry Protect but it still just says "please wait". I'm going mad can someone PLEASE help!!!!!!

    You didn't say what version your trial is. Is it 10.1?
    Right click on one of the clips and hit Reveal in Finder. Then select the clip it takes you to and open it in Quick Time . Hjt Command-i and post a screen shot of the Inspector info

  • Adobe App Manager installs but won't work... "Download Error, Contact Support"

    Downloaded the AAM through the creative cloud site, it installs and when run it shows this error message "Download Error, Contact Support."  I then downloaded the AAM as a package from Adobe support.  Before installing it I removed the previous install from my computer.  The program installed again but I recieved the same message.  I cannot download any apps from the Creative Cloud because of this.
    I have searched the support pages and cannot find anyone having an error message like this one.

    From the Creative Cloud web site, when I start a download of an app within one second the application manager opens and immediately gives me this error message.
    I have not been able to download anything or sign in with my Adobe ID (using AAM).  I also get this same error message if I open the AAM from my computer.

    I recently purchased Things app and was working fine, until last night I ran the update and now it has stopped working. It is there but can't access it. I had wondered whether it was due to the fact that I haven't go the new operating system for the I phone.
    Can I delete and then install again without charge? I contacted Things support, but no contact as yet

    You can delete/reinstall at no cost. Easier to do it via iTunes: hook up the phone, go to the Applications tab, uncheck Things and sync. Then check it, and sync again

    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
                  Have you tried to reset your Password as from the link as tanzim provided ! Are you getting any error while doing so ? There are ways to change or reset our BlackBerry ID username but to do that you must have access to your Username as well as password . 
                  If you don't have access to the username or the email or if that email that you used is an Invalid one that you used to create your BlackBerry ID then there is no other way but have to create a new BlackBerry ID but in this process you will loose access to any paid apps if you have purchased ,
    But if you are having problem in reseting the password just because you forgot or  unable to recall the username or the email that you used then try this KB to know the username and then reset the password :
    KB28684 : How to confirm a BlackBerry ID username
    If that fails then first do a Backup of your device , then refer to this KB and create a new BlackBerry ID using a valid email .
    KB26694 : How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone.
    Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
    If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

  • I downloaded the latest update from the Apps store and it won't work.  I cannot download anothe rbecause the Apps store reads this version installed. What to do?  What to dooooo?

    What a pain in the *** this whole process is too.  I might as well just delete the freakin' program from the computer and rack it up to nonsense on the Apple end of things. To **** with you.  Support ***! Bah! 20 minutes into this process and I have to type and retype over something you suggested I do.  Next time I'll take your suggestions with a grain of salt .   • I cannot connect to my camera at all. I have tried turning it off then on and downloading all the camera apps but it still won't work. My iPod doesn't even give me the option to use anywhere.

    My iPod doesn't give me any choice to access the camera. I have tried sownloading a camera app and restarting my iPod but when I had the camera app the screen just turned black. Any idea what's going on?

    Try the following:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

    If it is asking for account details then it might just need you to confirm your account before it lets you proceed. Maybe the terms and conditions changed since last time or something like that. Try signing into your Apple account in iTunes on a computer first to check that. Then restart the phone and try again.
