Apps update has frozen, how do I fix? Have tried all suggested apple solutions.
My iphone 3gs was updating apps and froze part way through. I cannot delete or use the frozen ones. Rest of phone working fine. Have tried the fixes apple suggest to no avail.
Go to the App Store app, click on Updates. Can you see the "frozen" apps? Is the Update button enabled?
If that does not resolve the problem open iTunes on your computer, click on Apps and check for updates. The updates should be downloaded to iTunes. Then connect the phone to iTunes, click on its name, and click the Sync button.

Trying to play purchased TV series to my Apple TV, I am requested to authorise the computer. This has already been done and I have tried the suggestions regarding authorisation. I can play the programs on my computer, but not the Apple TV.

The same story. No 3G after updating to 6.1. Told my daughter temporarily not to do an update on her iPad with 6.01. We've exchanged SIMs. I inserted her SIM in my iPad - 3G appeared immediately. And my SIM in her iPad with ios 6.01 also WORKS FINE. We use the same provider - Megafon Moscow. After attempting to revert SIMs to original configuration, 3G disappeared on my iPad again. I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. Try force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. -

I went by the Apple Store, but couldn't get an appointment until tomorrow. The scheduler at the store offered no suggestions. After I got home, I found your suggestion about pushing the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously. Viola! It worked. You're the genius! What a simple solution to a scary problem. I wish all troubleshooting efforts with electronics were that easy and that successful! Many thanks.

Hi I am having problems with the latest update (11.1.4), I have unistalled and reinstalled that many times now I have lost count, I have also tried all the fixes that other users have suggested with no joy.
What is this msvcr80.dll file that is missing, also after unistalling and rebooting computer I get another message that states icudt49.dll is missing.

I have tried reseting my phone many different ways and updating all the software. Nothing works the app continues to crash. Apple says in another thread to someone else to follow third party app solutions but those do not work as you cannot delete and re-download a pre-loaded Apple app...... Any help would be necessary as I just bought the sensor from Apple, and now my phone won't connect.
Seems like a waste of money, since the products are made by the exact same company I expect them to work. I have also noticed that other people have had this problem and have also been unable to solve it.I've been facing the very same issue for 3 days. Did you figure it out?

HT203164 have tried all suggestions on how to manage settings to be able to burn a cd/ no luck..
have tried these settings and no luck burning with itunes. it says somthing about having more than 1 burning software to select one but i dont have any idea on how to figure out this question and to change settings. i have windows media and VSL Media Player if this helps.
Have you tried all of these?
1. Pressing the Eject key while opening the iMac.
2. Pressing the Eject key while closing down the iMac.
3. Holding down the Option key while restarting the iMac.
4. Using Disk Utility to try to Mount, Repair and Eject the disk.
5. Holding down the Mouse while restarting the iMac.
6. Pressing the O and F keys while closing down the iMac.
7. Opened Applications > Utilities >Terminal and typed in 'drutil tray eject'. -
Stuck at "accessing itunes store" have tried all suggestions so far and nothing has worked..
when i open itunes i am infinetly stuck at "accessing itunes store" during which it will not allow me to authorize my computer, sign in, etc. . So far i have tried restarting my computer, cmd command, re-install, unistall qucik time player/safari, reset router. i am not sure what else there is to do for this problem. none of the other threads have helped me at all. what else is there to do to fix this?

(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
