APPS User keeps on locked

Hi,
My apps user account keeps on locked every 3 minutes even after unlocked the account in release 12. OS is IBM AIX6.1.
Followed the DOC 275232.1. This issue occurs after changing the apps password. Awaiting for help..

NWDI_ADM user keep getting lock

We are having an issue with the NWDI, the user NWDI_ADM keeps getting lock and i am not sure what is locking the user. I also receive this message when trying to access the activity in the CBS.

Hi Jean,
You can check NWDI_ADM user in your NWDI System & SLD System. To check where user is getting locked you can go to Visual Admin --> Server Node --> Security Provider --> User Management:
Search for NWDI_ADM user and see when it was last locked. Perforn this on both NWDI & SLD system.
To resolve this issue.
1. Make sure you have same password defined in NWDI & SLD system OR
2. Run configuration wizzard in NWDI System which will prompt you to enter password for NWDI_ADM user. TO do that please go to
http://NWDIserver:<portnumber>:nwa --> Deploy and Change. From there run configuration wizard for CBS; CMS & DTR. and before doing this make sure you have correct password for NWDI_ADM user in SLD & NWDI System.
What I generally do is keep same passowrd in NWDI & SLD system. Thats my way of doing thing and keeping less complications.

APPS USER GETTING LOCK

After changing password of APPS user, while accessing application, 'APPS' user is getting lock. Checked that 'password' of 'APPS_TO_APPS' and 'EDW_APPS_TO_WH' did not changed.
Ran Autoconfig -still account is getting lock.

Pl see if that APPS database account has a profile set. I believe ATG RUP4 add a profile to the APPS database account and after x number of unsuccessful logins, it locks the account, making the instance unusable. See ML Note 556761.1 that describes a related issue. If a profile is indeed set for the APPS account, pl remove it.

Find out why Apps Account keeps locking

Hi,
We are currently having an isuse where the Apps Account keeps locking and this is causing issues for out users. We have rebooted the databases a few times and after a few minutes the Apps account will lock out again.
Is there a log file that we can view that shows what applications were accessing the Apps account at the time of this occurring?

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store may prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app may be something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.

a session is blocking another session..Sid is displayed there
now i can kill that session if it is holding a lock for too long and i do so too
But i want to know which apps user was it..there more than 500 users that connect from EBS r12..how would i know whichh user that sid belongs to
so basically i need to know the apps user holding that SID which is blocking the other session

How to detect apps users holding locks

Dear all
Finding out users holding locks is easy for database and then killing them using alter statement
But when the Sid is revealed, how can i link them to apps users and find who the user actually was

On my test server, i logged in from a user farid and held a lock on MTL_SYSTEMS_ITEMS_B table through the item master form
Then i did as follows just to analyze how to find apps username holding the lock

IPhone app suspended on screen lock

I've developed an iPhone app with Flash CS5 that polls certain things every few seconds. It's working as expected, except when the iPhone screen locks (by itself due to inactivity, not when a user presses the lock hardware button on the top of the phone).
Other applications I've seen are able to continue their polling or activity after the screen is locked, but mine appears to stop completely until the screen is unlocked. It resumes correctly after the screen is unlocked.
What do I need to do (either in the Actionscript or perhaps a publish setting?) to allow the app to keep polling when the screen is locked?

And so what happens when you actually connect your phone to your computer via USB like the logo indicates?

- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

while posted approach will eventually work, it is like making three left turns around the block;
instead of making a single right term.
Place the desired SQL into a procedure (FIND_LOCKER) owned by highly privileged schema; then do as below
GRANT EXECUTE ON FIND_LOCKER TO OPERATOR_USER;

Start app in landscape mode locked and later enable autoOrients

Hi!
I want to start my app in landscape mode locked and when an effect finished unlocks autorients to true and the user can change the orientation.of the device.
I have tried few things but i can't get it. My descriptor file contains:
<aspectRatio>landscape</aspectRatio>
<autoOrients>false</autoOrients>
And in my code when the effect is finished:
stage.autoOrients = true
When i play my app in desktop it run but later running it in a phisichal device (playbook) orientation its ever locked.
¿Is posible lock orientation (and force landscape mode) and later unlock orientation?

You should be able to do this now (AIR 2.6). The Stage.autoOrients property used to be read-only, but now it is writable. The main gotcha is that when you set Stage.autoOrients to false, the exact result is device-dependent. You might have it lock to the current orientation, or it might switch to the device default orientation and lock to that (you can still use setOrientation() to change, though). In my limited testing (3 devices), it has always done the latter (portrait is the default on phones, landscape on tablets).

PIDIRUSER & PIRWBUSER Keep Getting Locked

After a recent XI system copy my PIDIRUSER and PIRWBUSER keep getting locked by the kernel. I did not change the passwords from the system I copied yet this problem only occurs in the new copy. In SM21 it shows that SAPJSF locks it with repeated invalid login/passwords. It seems to occur every 20 minutes on the nose but I can't find any jobs that correspond to this timeframe.
I have been through the enchange profile a number of times and validated everywhere I can think of but I can't find anywhere in ABAP or JAVA where these users are embeded with the wrong password. I have also restarted multiple times during the system copy process and once just to try to stop this occuring. I've refreshed the caches, I've sync'ed with the SLD, I'm at a loss.
Anyone have any ideas where to procede?

I have gone through and changed my passwords for these two users per note 721548. Still the same issue is happening. I am somewhat puzzled since I have no jobs running under either user (at least none that should cause 3 failed logins in 20 minutes). Also, this is a relatively unused system with no developers logging on to use either the directory or the runtime workbench. So I really have no clue what is causing these failures. It is pretty clearly failing from Java trying to connect to ABAP but why?
